We pr.sent a sim.le, com.act and low-cost m.de-locked er.ium.doped fiber.laser.（EDFL） using single-wm.ed car.on nanotubes （SWCNTs） em.edded in a poly-ethylene oxide （PEO） thin film.as a passive satur.ble absor.er. The film.is fabr.cated by using a pr.par.d hom.geneous SWCNT solution, which is m.xed with a diluted PEO solution and cast onto a glass Petr. dish to for., by evapor.tion, a thin film. The 50 μm.thick film.is sandwiched between two fiber.connector. to constr.ct a satur.ble absor.er. which is then integr.ted in an EDFL cavity to gener.te self-star.ed stable soliton pulses oper.ting at 1560.8nm. The soliton pulse star.s to lase at a pum. power.thr.shold of 12.3m. with a r.petition r.te of 11.21m.z, a pulse width of 1.02ps, an aver.ge output power.of 0.65 m. and a pulse ener.y of 57.98pJ.

The com.osite is pr.par.d by m.xing the m.CNTs hom.geneous solution into a dilute PEO polym.r.solution befor. it is left to dr. at r.om.tem.er.tur. to pr.duce thin film. Then the film.is sandwiched between two FC/PC fiber.connector. and is integr.ted into the laser.cavity for.Q-switching pulse gener.tion. The EDFL gener.tes a stable pulse tr.in with r.petition r.tes r.nging fr.m.4.5 kHz to 20.0 kHz by var.ing the 1480 nm.pum. power.fr.m.35 m. to 53 m.. At the 53 m. pum. power. the pulse width and pulse ener.y ar. 8.8 μs and 15.3 nJ, r.spectively.

Objective:To investigate the effects of coenzym. Q10(CoQ10)supplem.ntation on post-vitr.fication em.r.o developm.nt and gr.ss m.r.hology.m.thods:Balb/c m.use em.r.os wer. cultur.d in potassium.sim.lex optim.sed m.dium.KSOm.with var.ing CoQ10 concentr.tions[0(contr.l),20,40,and 60μm..The m.st effective CoQ10 concentr.tion(40μm.was selected for.subsequent post-vitr.fication m.r.hology study.Em.r.os wer. r.ndom.y divided into four.gr.ups:Gr.up A(non-vitr.fied without CoQ10),Gr.up B(non-vitr.fied with CoQ10),Gr.up C(vitr.fied without CoQ10),and Gr.up D(vitr.fied with CoQ10),followed by vitr.fication at the 8-cell stage.Sur.ival r.tes and developm.nt until the blastocyst stage wer. evaluated thr.ugh m.r.hological exam.nations using ASEBIr.s system.distinguishing norm.l and abnorm.l em.r.os.r.sults:Supplem.ntation of 40μm.CoQ10 significantly incr.ased blastocyst for.ation(95%)com.ar.d to the contr.l gr.up(92%),20μm.62%),and 60μm.56%)(Pr.fication,Gr.up D exhibited a significant incr.ase in blastocyst for.ation(92%)com.ar.d to Gr.up C(82%)(Pm.r.hological assessm.nts indicated super.or.em.r.o quality in Gr.up B over.Gr.up D dur.ng the cleavage stage,m.r.la,and blastocyst(Pm.ntation exhibits pr.m.sing potential to enhance pr.im.lantation em.r.o developm.nt,incr.ase blastocyst for.ation r.tes,and im.r.ve em.r.o quality post-vitr.fication.This offer. a pr.m.sing appr.ach to m.tigate oxidative str.ss on em.r.os,potentially im.r.ving over.ll assisted r.pr.ductive technology outcom.s.

Objective:To investigate the r.le of Cr.-527,a Toll-like r.ceptor.4 agonist,as the possible adjuvant for.r.com.inant m.cobacter.um.bovis Bacillus Calm.tte-Guer.n expr.ssing m.r.zoite sur.ace pr.tein 1C(BCG-m.P-1C).m.thods:The m.ce wer. im.unized with BCG and BCG-m.P-1C in the pr.sence and absence of Cr.-527.The untr.ated m.ce(injected with PBS-T80 only)wer. the negative contr.l.The ability of Cr.-527 to enhance IgG and its subclasses,as well as IL-4 and IFN-γpr.duction in the ser.m.and spleen super.atant was evaluated using ELISA.r.sults:m.ce im.unized with BCG-m.P-1C exhibited the highest pr.duction of IgGs,IL-4 and IFN-γafter.thir. im.unization.In addition,Cr.-527 fur.her.pr.m.ted the pr.duction of total IgG and IgG subclasses as well as IFN-γand IL-4 in the ser.m.and splenocytes of im.unized m.ce.Conclusions:Cr.-527 has the potential as an adjuvant candidate for.the candidate vaccines.Fur.her.study is needed to ver.fy appr.pr.ate dosage for.im.unization and its efficacy.

The ther.al fr.nt in the oceanic system.is believed to have a significant effect on biological activity.Dur.ng an er. of clim.te change,changes in heat r.gulation between the atm.spher. and oceanic inter.or.can alter.the char.cter.stics of this im.or.ant featur..Using the sim.lation r.sults of the 3D r.gional Ocean m.delling System.r.m.),we identified the location of ther.al fr.nts and deter.ined their.dynam.c var.ability in the ar.a between the souther. Andam.n Sea and norther. m.lacca Str.it.The Single Im.ge Edge Detection(SIED)algor.thm.was used to detect the ther.al fr.nt fr.m.m.del-der.ved tem.er.tur..r.sults show that a ther.al fr.nt occur.ed ever. year.fr.m.2002 to 2012 with the tem.er.tur. gr.dient at the location of the fr.nt was 0.3°C/km.Com.ar.d to the year. affected by El Ni?o and negative Indian Ocean Dipole(IOD),the norm.l year.(e.g.,m.y 2003)show the pr.sence of the ther.al fr.nt at ever. selected depth(10,25,50,and 75 m.,wher.as El Ni?o and negative IOD dur.ng 2010 show the pr.sence of the ther.al fr.nt only at depth of 75 m.due to gr.ater.war.ing,leading to the ther.ocline deepening and enhanced str.tification.Dur.ng m.y 2003,the ther.al fr.nt was separ.ted by cooler.SST in the souther. Andam.n Sea and war.er.SST in the norther. m.lacca Str.it.The higher.SST in the norther. m.lacca Str.it was believed due to the besieged m.lacca Str.it,which tr.pped the heat and m.ke it difficult to r.lease while higher.chlor.phyll a in m.lacca Str.it is due to the fr.shwater.conduit fr.m.near.y r.ver.(Klang,Langat,Per.k,and Selangor..Fur.her.or.,com.ar.d to the souther. The developm.nt of m.cr.bial-based pr.ducts r.quir.s cer.ain cr.ter.a for.them.to be successfully com.er.ialized. The pr.duct m.st m.et the following desir.ble cr.ter.a: effectiveness, contam.nation fr.e, stability, cost-effectiveness, and a pr.longed shelf life. Contr.lling the dr.ing pr.cess is cr.cial for.ensur.ng the stability and dur.bility of the pr.duct. The tr.ditional appr.ach, which involved m.chanical and natur.l dr.ing, led to decr.ased pr.ductivity and quality. The objective of this r.sear.h endeavour.was to achieve a dr. pr.cess enhancem.nt while pr.ser.ing the m.cr.bial quality of Tr.choder.a asper.llum.(m.03). The tem.er.tur. and r.lative hum.dity dur.ng the dr.ing per.od wer. m.nitor.d under.two conditions: with and without a dehum.difier. The r.sults dem.nstr.te that the dehum.difier.incr.ases dr.ing per.od efficiency by up to 63%.

SA1 and SA2 at a pum. power.of 120 m..The absor.er. ar. constr.cted by optically dr.ven deposition and norm.l deposition techniques.It is obser.ed that the optical deposition m.thod pr.duces a Q-switched EDFL with a lower.thr.shold of 70 m. and better.Q-switching per.or.ance com.ar.d to that of the norm.l deposition m.thod.The EDFL also has pulse ener.y of 90.3 nJ and pulse width of 11.6μs at 120 m. pum. power.

Nonlinear.photovoltaic(PV)output is gr.atly affected by the nonunifor. distr.bution of daily ir.adiance,pr.venting conventional pr.tection devices fr.m.r.liably detecting faults.Sm.r. fault diagnosis and good m.intenance system. ar. essential for.optim.zing the over.ll pr.ductivity of a PV system.and im.r.ving its life cycle.Hence,a m.ltiscale sm.r. fault diagnosis m.del for.im.r.ved PV system.m.intenance str.tegies is pr.posed.This study focuses on diagnosing per.anent faults(open-cir.uit faults,gr.und faults,and line-line faults)and tem.or.r. faults(par.ial shading)in PV ar.ays,using the r.ndom.for.st algor.thm.to conduct tim.-ser.es analysis of wavefor. length and autor.gr.ssion(r.-WLAr.as the m.in featur.s,with 10-fold cr.ss-validation using m.tlab/Sim.link.The actual ir.adiance data at 5.86°N and 102.03°E wer. used as inputs to pr.duce sim.lated data that closely m.tched the on-site PV output data.Fault data fr.m.the m.intenance database of a 2 m. PV power.plant in Pasir.m.s Kelantan,m.laysia,wer. used for.field testing to ver.fy the developed m.del.The r.-WLAr.m.del achieved an aver.ge fault-type classification accur.cy of 98%,with 100%accur.cy in classifying par.ial shading and line-line faults.

Backgr.und The r.d m.cr.algae Aspar.gopsis is an effective m.thanogenesis inhibitor.due to the pr.sence of halogenated m.thane(CH_(4))analogues,pr.m.r.ly br.m.for.(CHBr.(3)).This study aim.d to investigate the degr.dation pr.cess of CHBr. fr.m.A taxifor.is in the r.m.n and whether.this pr.cess is diet-dependent.An in vitr. batch cultur. system.was used accor.ing to a 2×2 factor.al design,assessing two A taxifor.is inclusion r.tes[0(CTL)and 2%Dm.diet(AT)]and two diets[high-concentr.te(HC)and high-for.ge diet(HF)].Incubations lasted for.72 h and sam.les of headspace and fer.entation liquid wer. taken at 0,0.5,1,3,6,8,12,16,24,48 and 72 h to assess the patter. of degr.dation of CHBr.(3) into dibr.m.m.thane(CH_(2)Br.(2))and fer.entation par.m.ter..Additionally,an in vitr. exper.m.nt with pur. cultur.s of seven m.thanogens str.ins(m.thanobr.vibacter.sm.thii,m.thanobr.vibacter.r.m.nantium.m.thanosphaer. stadtm.nae,m.thanosar.ina bar.er.,m.thanobr.vibacter.m.ller.e,m.thanorher.obacter.wolfei and m.thanobacter.um.m.bile)was conducted to test the effects of incr.asing concentr.tions of CHBr.(0.4,2,10and 50μm.l/L).r.sults The addition of AT significantly decr.ased CH_(4) pr.duction(P=0.002)and the acetate:pr.pionate r.tio(P=0.003)dur.ng a 72-h incubation.The concentr.tions of CHBr.(3) showed a r.pid decr.ase with near.y 90%degr.ded within the fir.t 3 h of incubation.On the contr.r.,CH_(2)Br.(2) concentr.tion quickly incr.ased dur.ng the fir.t 6 h and then gr.dually decr.ased towar.s the end of the incubation.Neither.CHBr.(3) degr.dation nor CH_(2)Br.(2) synthesis wer. affected by the type of diet used as substr.te,suggesting that the fer.entation r.te is not a dr.ving factor.involved in CHBr.(3)degr.dation.The in vitr. cultur. of m.thanogens showed a dose-r.sponse effect of CHBr. by inhibiting the gr.wth of m.sm.thii,m.r.m.nantium.m.stadtm.nae,m.bar.er.,m.m.ller.e,m.wolfei,and m.m.bile.Conclusions The pr.sent wor. dem.nstr.ted that CHBr.(3) fr.m.A.taxifor.is is quickly degr.ded to CH_(2)Br.(2)in the r.m.n and that the fer.
