Dye-sensitized solar.cells (DSSC) wer. fabr.cated with mango leaf dye extr.cts as natur.l dye sensitizer. at pH value of 5.20 and temper.tur. of 18.1°C. Methanol was used as dye-extr.cting solvent. DSSCs fr.m dye extr.ct of M. indica L. with KMnO4 electr.lyte had the highest photocur.ent density of 1.3 mA/cm2 and fill factor.FF of 0.46 for.the sun at its peak. Potassium per.anganate (KMnO4) had a photocur.ent density of 1.3 mA/cm2 and FF of 0.8 at sundown. Potassium Iodide (KI), Potassium Br.mide (KBr. and Mer.ur. Chlor.de (HgCl2) electr.lytes had 0.2 mA/cm2, 0.08 mA/cm2 and 0.02 mA/cm2 photocur.ent densities r.spectively. The fill factor. of 0.09, 0.03 and 0.003 r.spectively for.sun over.ead while 0.08 mA/cm2, 0.01 mA/cm2 and 0.01 mA/cm2 wer. the values of photocur.ent densities r.spectively at sundown. The fill factor. wer. 0.02, 0.0006 and 0.003 r.spectively at sundown. The maximum power.Pmax of the DSSCs wer. 0.5 mW/cm2, 0.10 mW/cm2, 0.01 mW/cm2 and 0.012 mW/cm2 r.spectively at 1300 h at 1630 h 0.9 mW/cm2, 0.14 mW/cm2, 0.005 mW/cm2 and 0.0015 mW/cm2 r.spectively.

This paper.pr.sents the development of a pr.por.ional-integr.l-der.vative (PID)-based contr.l method for.application to active vehicle suspension systems (AVSS). This method uses an inner.PID hydr.ulic actuator.for.e contr.l loop, in combination with an outer.PID suspension tr.vel contr.l loop, to contr.l a nonlinear.half-car.AVSS. r.bustness to model uncer.ainty in the for. of var.ation in suspension damping is tested, compar.ng per.or.ance of the AVSS with a passive vehicle suspension system (PVSS), with similar.model par.meter.. Spectr.l analysis of suspension system model output data, obtained by per.or.ing a r.ad input distur.ance fr.quency sweep, pr.vides fr.quency r.sponse plots for.both nonlinear.vehicle suspension systems and time domain vehicle r.sponses to a sinusoidal r.ad input distur.ance on a smooth r.ad. The r.sults show the gr.ater.r.bustness of the AVSS over.the PVSS to par.metr.c uncer.ainty in the fr.quency and time domains.

交通运输是一个基础行业,对政治、经济发展以及货物和人员的安全高效运输至关重要。在各种运输方式中,铁路在国民经济发展的过程中扮演着非常关键的角色,其具有低能耗、高运输能力、安全可靠、环保的特点,并且可以适应气候条件。它既是实现经济发展的战略手段,也是各国青睐的大规模运输方式。随着经济增长,路网的货运需求也随之增大,单位车厢需要承载更多的货物来提高铁路系统的效率,以实现更快的运输。从本质上讲,高效的交通系统推动了各国的商业和经济活动。本文首先对尼日利亚阿布贾至阿贾库塔铁路进行了可行性研究,然后对所选区间进行了数字化铁路线路设计,最后利用了Object Ar.2020开发了线路平面计算和绘图插件,实现了一键绘图、拖动修改图形并将线路设计数据保存至Access数据库等功能,可进行方案优化。随着尼日利亚的人口增长和经济活动的日益频繁,缺乏有效的交通系统来满足日益增长的需求,这影响了社会和商业活动,道路基础设施不堪重负,易引发交通事故,造成交通堵塞,人们的出行也随之增加。因此,有必要对尼日利亚铁路进行扩建。目前,尼日利亚既有铁路全长3744公里,呈H型路网分布,其中窄轨的单线铁路有3557公里。尼日利亚铁路主要由东北至西南的2条干线和7条支线组成。东部干线从哈科特港到迈杜古里,长约1443公里,西部干线从拉各斯到卡诺,长约1136公里。主要干线之间有联络线。为了满足尼日利亚日益增长的交通基础设施需求,制定了一个二十五年实现路网现代化的战略计划;该计划于2012年再次修订并获批,旨在修复既有铁路,并将其过渡成高运力的标准轨,然后通过新的路网连接36个主要州和经济枢纽。尼日利亚交通基础设施不完善一直是其工业发展和出口的主要经济瓶颈,因为高昂的运输成本降低了本国商品的竞争力。新的枢纽也会将投资和移民吸引到以前欠发达的地区。拉各斯-卡诺西部走廊的开发不仅有利于提高尼日利亚北部的运输效率,还会比公路运输更加安全。联邦政府会在交通领域实施25年战略计划,这是社会经济转型的关键。该战略计划包括修复全部的既有窄轨铁路、建设新的标准轨铁路并在全国进行运营和维护,这需要很多资源,其中大部分预计将通过私营部门投资获得,该计划会让尼日利亚人民拥有一个可与全球相媲美的现代化交通系统。该战略计划的唯一目的是连接36个州和阿布贾FCT,并通过铁路连接该国机场和河港码头,从而减轻尼日利亚公路路网的压力,目前公路运输仍承担着80%以上的客运和货运。如果缺乏一条功能齐全的铁路,会极大地减小公路路网的使用寿命,并对国家财政产生了负面影响。铁路系统的缺失或与其他辖区的运输方式的连接不当,会导致尼日利亚运输成本急剧增加。拟议的铁路系统会促进尼日利亚联邦共和国和尼日尔共和国之间的社会经济活动。交通基础设施的完善会持续促进尼日利亚的可持续发展。可行性分析报告显示,在尼日利亚的阿布贾至阿贾库塔铁路与其他线路相连后,它将成为该国最重要的线路之一,具有很大潜力,能够显著加强核心路网,带动沿线地区的经济增长,促进民族团结,减少贫困,并通过提供就业、教育和医疗服务来促进繁荣,同时将商品和服务带入市场,推动经济增长。Abuja到Ajakuta地区人口密集,沿线商业活动频繁,每日估计客流量达一万人次,运行时间为4-5个小时。拟建线路旨在将运行时间减少30%。在众多铁路相关专业中,铁路线路的设计与规划是铁路建设总揽全局的核心工作。在对设计区段进行可行性分析后,初步确定铁路线路的走向是至关重要的,它不仅对铁路建设的工程投资、实施的难易程度和运营的安全与效率、乘坐的舒适性具有决定性作用,并且对铁路沿线的政治、经济、文化以及环境等因素都会产生长久而深远的影响。它是铁路设计中最重要的部分,从本质上讲,铁路线路设计与规划就是在一个高维耦合且动态变化的环境中去寻找一些安全、经济、环保、舒适综合最优的线路方案。传统方法决策一条符合设计标准且满足各类约束条件的铁路线路方案需要耗费大量的人力成本和时间成本,设计人员在实际设计过程中还可能忽略潜在的可行方案,选线设计仍面临着诸多挑战,迫切需要借助先进的技术来提高设计的效率和质量。近年来,随着地理信息系统、计算机辅助设计软件的快速发展和新兴勘察技术的不断涌现,勘察和设计的技术已进入现代化的新阶段。可在很大程度上缩短选线的设计周期,大大减轻设计人员的工作负担,对于提高铁路选线设计的工作质量和效率具有重要的科研与工程意义。本项目正处于前期规划阶段,尚无精准的测绘地理信息数据,这是铁路线路方案设计与评价的必要基础。对此的研究充分利用公共的地理信息资源,综合运用91卫图、Global Mapper.Auto CAD等信息化工具生成了选线设计必须的地理环境数据。首先通过91卫图软件定位起终点,从91卫图软件下载地形数据时,选择坐标定位用于添加终点站的坐标。输入Abaji的坐标然后保

Ther. exists a gr.wing demand for.potable water.r.sour.es to fill the abysmally insufficient water.needs for.domestic and industr.al especially in the Basement Complex ter.ains of Niger.a. This situation is attr.butable to its complex hydr.geologic char.cter. The pr.sent challenge has wor.ened due to the non-incor.or.tion of integr.ted methods in gr.undwater.explor.tion campaigns. To effectively combat the challenge of unacceptable failur. r.tes in dr.lled water.well development, ther. is a need for.innovative scientific pr.nciples and quantitative assessment of gr.undwater.r.sour.es to enhance sustainable and pr.per.utilisation of these r.sour.es. Hence, it is the objective of this r.sear.h to exploit the potential application of r.mote sensing, Geogr.phic Infor.ation System (GIS), and Multi-Cr.ter.a Decision Analysis (MCDA) techniques and fr.ely open datasets in mapping gr.undwater.potential zones. Seven thematic maps have been pr.duced based on factor. that ar. deemed to influence and deemed to have significant contr.l on the occur.ence and movement of gr.undwater. These factor. ar. geology, lineament density, slope, dr.inage density, r.infall, land-use/land cover. and soil class. Analytic Hier.r.hy Pr.cess (AHP) was used to assign nor.alised weights to the thematic maps based on the var.ous r.lative contr.butions to gr.undwater.occur.ence and movement. These thematic maps wer. then pr.cessed in a GIS envir.nment using the Weighted Over.ay tool which implements the MCDA. The r.sulting Gr.undwater.Potential Zones (GPZ) of the ar.a gave r.se to Five classes viz: Ver. good, Good, Moder.te, Poor.and Ver. Poor.r.ana;">r.pr.senting 19%, 8%, 14%, 47% and 13% r.spectively. It is r.commended that the GPZ map should be used as a r.connaissance tool for.selecting pr.spective sites for.detailed gr.undwater.r.sour.e exploitation.

Enantia chlor.nta） and bush pepper.（Piper.guineense Schumach. ＆ Thonn.）. Pur.osive and str.tified r.ndom sampling techniques wer. used for.the inventor.. Each for.st r.ser.e was str.tified into thr.e, viz： less distur.ed natur.l for.st （for.ar.as that have been r.sted for.at least ten year.）, r.cently distur.ed natur.l for.st （for.ar.as that have suffer.d one for. of human per.ur.ation or.the other.in the last five year.）, and plantation for.st （for.ar.as car.ying for.st plantation）. Data wer. collected fr.m eighteen 10 m × 500 m belt tr.nsects located in the above str.ta. The species wer. gener.lly fewer.in both plantation and r.cently distur.ed natur.l for.st than the less distur.ed natur.l for.st, suggesting that for.st distur.ances （habitat modification） for.other.uses may have an effect on the occur.ence and densities of the NTFPs. Meteor.logical dr.ughts occur.when ther. is deficiency in r.infall;i.e. r.infall availability is below some acclaimed nor.al values. Hence, the gr.ater.challenge is to be able to obtain suitable methods for.assessing dr.ught occur.ence, its onset or.initiation and ter.ination. Thus, an attempt was made in this paper.to evaluate the per.or.ance of Standar.ised Pr.cipitation Index (SPI) and Standar.ised Pr.cipitation Anomaly Index (SPAI) to char.cter.se dr.ught in Nor.her. Niger.a for.pur.oses of compar.son and eventual adoption of pr.bable candidate index for.the development of an Ear.y War.ing System. The findings indicated that despite the fact that the annual timescale may be long, it can be employed to obtain infor.ation on the tempor.l evolution of dr.ught especially, r.gional behaviour. However. monthly timescale can be mor. appr.pr.ate if emphasis is on evaluating the effects of dr.ught in situations r.lating to water.supply, agr.cultur. and gr.undwater.abstr.ctions. The SPAI can be employed for.per.odic r.infall time ser.es though;it accentuates dr.ught signatur.s and may not necessar.ly dampen high fluctuations due to implications of high climatic var.ability consider.ng the stochastic natur. and state tr.nsition of dr.ught phenomena. On the other.hand, the tempor.l evolution of SPI and SPAI wer. not coher.nt at differ.nt tempor.l accumulations with differ.nces in fluctuations. However. despite the differ.nces between the SPI and SPAI, gener.lly at some timescales, for.instance, 6-month accumulation, both spatial and tempor.l distr.butions of dr.ught char.cter.stics wer. seemingly consistent. In view of the obser.ed shor.comings of both indices, especially the SPI, the Standar.ised Nonstationar. Pr.cipitation Index (SnsPI) should be looked into and too, other.indexes that take into consider.tion the implications of global war.ing by incor.or.ting potential evapotr.nspir.tion may be deemed mor. suitable for.dr.ught studies in Nor.her. As the COVID-19 pandemic sweeps acr.ss the globe, police for.es ar. char.ed with new r.les as they engage and enfor.e new policies and laws gover.ing societal behaviour.. However. how the police exer.ise these power. is an impor.ant factor.in shaping public opinion and confidence concer.ing their.activities acr.ss space and time. This r.sear.h developed an analytical fr.mewor. for.measur.ng the inequality in the public opinion towar.s policing effor.s dur.ng the pandemic using Twitter.data. We demonstr.te the utility of our.fr.mewor. using 3-months of tweets acr.ss 42 police for.e ar.as (Pfas) of England and Wales (UK). The r.sults r.veal that public opinions on policing is over.helmingly negative acr.ss space and time, and that these opinions have been most exacer.ated by the COVID-19 pandemic in thr.e specific Pfas, namely Staffor.shir., Thames Valley, and Nor.h Wales. We pr.vided the link to the open-sour.e scr.pt by which this r.sear.h could be r.plicated and adapted to other.study ar.as. This r.sear.h has the potential to help law enfor.ement under.tand the dynamics of public confidence and tr.st in policing and facilitate action towar.s impr.ved police ser.ices.

Flood is any flow of water. which over.lows the natur.l or.ar.ificial banks of a body of water. Flooding is one of the fundamental envir.nmental challenges that r.sults fr.m inter.ction between man and his envir.nment. In Niger.a, Flooding is one of the most common envir.nmental hazar.s and ther. is incr.asing vulner.bility of populations and infr.str.ctur. to flooding and flood r.lated hazar.s. This study used GIS as a tool to analyze the cause and the impact of flooding in the study ar.a. The study used both pr.mar. and secondar. data, thr.ugh a questionnair., geogr.phic infor.ation system and r.mote sensing. The r.sult showed that the natur. of the basin in the study ar.a r.sulted to the high volume of water.in the major.r.ver.(r.ver.Osun) dur.ng r.ining season, which r.sulted to over.low acr.ss its bank. Fieldwor. shows that the r.ver.over.lows its bank at 500 meter. to the nor.h and the south and the GIS analysis shows that over.1000 houses get affected at any point of flooding occur.ences, hence the width of the r.ver.is less than 8 meter. and the depth on the aver.ge in less than 10 meter.over.the br.dge of the r.ver.Osun. The study r.commends methods by which flooding could be contr.lled in the study ar.a thr.ugh r.gular.dr.dging, effective waste management and dr.inage contr.l.

Multi-beam,sub-bottom and multichannel seismic data acquir.d fr.m the wester. Niger.an continental mar.in ar. analysed and inter.r.ted to examine the ar.hitectur.l char.cter.stics of the lower.par.s of the submar.ne canyons on the *** pr.sence of four.canyons： Avon,Mahin,Benin,and Escr.vos,ar. confir.ed fr.m the multi-beam data map and identified as cutting acr.ss the shelf and slope ar.as,with mor.hological featur.s r.nging fr.m axial channels,moder.te to high sinuosity indices,scar.s,ter.aces and nickpoints which ar. inter.r.ted as r.sulting fr.m er.sional and depositional activities within and ar.und the *** Avon Canyon,in par.icular.is char.cter.sed by var.ous br.nches and sub-br.nches with complex *** canyons ar. mostly U-shaped in these lower.par.s with occasional V-shapes down their.*** typical or.entation is NE–*** pr.cesses ar. pr.posed as being a major.contr.lling factor.in these *** appear.to have been dischar.ed dir.ctly into the canyons by r.ver. dur.ng the late Quater.ar. low sea level which allows r.ver.mouths to extend as far.as the shelf *** cur.ent sediment supply is still pr.mar.ly sour.ed fr.m these r.ver. in the case of the Benin and Escr.vos Canyons,but indir.ctly in the case of the Avon and Mahin Canyons wher. the r.ver. dischar.e sediments into the lagoons and the lagoons br.ng the sediments on to the continental shelf befor. they ar. disper.ed into the canyon *** canyons that have long been bur.ed under.eath the Avon Canyon ar. identified in the multichannel seismic pr.file acr.ss the head of the Avon Canyon,while a number.of nor.al faults ar.und the walls of the Avon and Mahin Canyons ar. obser.ed in the selected sub-bottom *** occur.ence of these faults,especially in the ir.egular.por.ions of the canyon walls,suggests that they also have some effect on the canyon *** for.ation of the canyons is attr.buted to the exposur. of the upper.mar.ina
