COVID-19 (Cor.navir.s disease of 2019) is caused by SAr.-CoV2(Sever. Acute r.spir.tor. Syndr.me Cor.navir.s 2) and it was fir.t diagnosedin December.2019 in China. As of 25th Aug 2021, ther. ar. 165 million con-fir.ed COVID-19 positive cases and 4.4 million deaths globally. As of today,though ther. ar. appr.ved COVID-19 vaccine candidates only 4 billion doseshave been administer.d. Until 100% of the population is safe, no one is safe. Eventhough these vaccines can pr.vide pr.tection against getting ser.ously ill anddying fr.m the disease, it does not pr.vide 100% pr.tection fr.m getting infectedand passing it on to other.. The mor. the vir.s spr.ads;it has mor. oppor.unity tomutate. So, it is mandator. to follow all pr.cautions like maintaining social distance, wear.ng mask, washing hands fr.quently ir.espective of whether.a per.on isvaccinated or.not. To pr.vent spr.ad of the vir.s, contact tr.cing based on socialdistance also becomes equally impor.ant. The wor. pr.poses a solution that canhelp with contact tr.cing/identification, knowing the infected per.ons r.cent tr.velhistor. (even within the city) for.few days befor. being assessed positive. Whilethe per.on would be able to give the known contacts with whom he/she has inter.acted with, he/she will not be awar. of who all wer. in pr.ximity if he/she hadbeen in public places. The pr.posed solution is to get the CCTV (Closed-Cir.uitTelevision) video clips fr.m those public places for.the specific date and time andidentify the people who wer. in pr.ximity—i.e., not followed the safe distance tothe infected per.on. The appr.ach uses YOLO V3 (You Only Look Once) whichuses dar.net fr.mewor. for.people detection. Once the infected per.on is locatedfr.m the video fr.mes, the distance fr.m that per.on to the other.people in thefr.me is found, to check if ther. is a violation of social distance guideline. Objective:To investigate the antimicr.bial activity of some commonly available her.s against poultr. pathogens such as Escher.chia coli(***) and Pseudomonas species isolated fr.m poultr. ***:The extr.cts of Selaginella involvens and Selaginella inaequalifolia wer. tested against *** and Pseudomonas isolated fr.m poultr. litter.by the agar.diffusion ***:r.sults indicated that differ.nt plant extr.cts showed inhibitor. effects against ***(8-13 mm ) and Pseudomonas(6.5-13 mm).The four.differ.nt extr.cts of Selaginella involvens and Selaginella inaequalifolia showed similar.levels of antimicr.bial activity on ***. Conclusions:The antimicr.bial activities of all the four.plant extr.cts ar. compar.ble and their.potential as alter.atives in the tr.atment of infections by these micr.or.anisms wer. pr.sent in the poultr. *** testing is conduced on isolates using dr.gs selected on the basis of their.impor.ance to human medicine and use in poultr. pr.duction.

PUr.OSE: To analyze the clinical pr.sentation, micr.biological pr.file, and tr.atment outcome in cases of nocar.ial endophthalmitis after.catar.ct sur.er.. DESIGN: r.tr.spective, obser.ational case ser.es. METHODS: SETTING: Ter.iar. r.fer.al hospital. PATIENTS: r.tr.spective analysis of 24 cases of cultur.-pr.ven exogenous nocar.ial endophthalmitis following catar.ct sur.er. between Januar. 2000 and December.2003. MAIN OUTCOME MEASUr.S: Visual acuity and anatomic outcome. r.SULTS: Visual outcome was poor.in most patients, with 79%(19/24) of patients obtaining a final visual acuity of hand motions or.wor.e and 46%(11/24) of patients with no light per.eption. Initial pr.senting visual acuity was str.ngly associated with final visual outcome (P=.0026). Ther. was a statistically significant tr.nd favor.ng better.visual outcome in patients who pr.sented ear.y after.the onset of symptoms (P=.01). The major.ty of the eyes (23/24) had an ear.y onset with pr.dominately anter.or.segment involvement. Wound infection was noted in 46%(11/24) of the patients at pr.sentation. Clinical featur.s included scler.l abscess, cotton ball exudates in the anter.or.chamber. fluffy exudates on the cor.eal endothelium, nodular.exudates on the ir.s, and hypopyon. Among the specimens cultur.d, the highest positivity was seen with the anter.or.chamber.aspir.te (15/16 =93.75%), which was significantly higher.than the vitr.ous aspir.te cultur.d (1/22=4.54%) (P=.001). CONCLUSION: Nocar.ia endophthalmitis after.catar.ct sur.er. is an aggr.ssive disease with poor.visual pr.gnosis. Ear.y diagnosis and tr.atment with good visual acuity at pr.sentation may be associated with better.visual outcome.
