These equa.ions a.0} then solved numer.ca.ly using a.ver. efficient implicit finite differ.nce method. The pr.sent study wa. designed to test the intr.-specific cr.ssing of two Egyptia. popula.ions fr.m a.r.ca. ca.fish （Cla.0}a. ga.0}epinus）, EI-Ma.za.a. ca.fish （MCF） cha.0}cter.zed by toler.tes for.poor.wa.er.qua.ity a.d ea.ily fa.0}ed in ca.tivity a.d EI-Qa.a.er.ca.fish （QCF） cha.0}cter.zed by r.pid gr.wth a.d high qua.ity flesh, for.hybr.d vigor. pr.duction a.d food pr.cessing to cr.a.e new high qua.ity pr.ducts. Cr.sses of these popula.ions wer. ca.0}ied out in EI-Ga.a.ia.ha.cher., EI-Ma.za.a., Egypt, dur.ng spr.ng of 2008 between MCF~~ QCF~. a.r.ca. ca.fish hybr.d, MCF a.d QCF finger.ings with a.mea. weight of 24.02 ＋ 1.38 g wer. stocked a. a.density of 50-fish per.m3 in ca.es （112 m3 ea.h） suspended in la.e El-Ma.za.a.. Fish wer. fed a.for.ula.ed diet conta.ning 31.20% cr.de pr.tein a.d cultur.d for.214 da.s. The gr.wth, sur.iva. a.d pr.duction da.a.confir.ed tha. ca.fish hybr.d ha. been successful a.d showed a.str.ng heter.tic effect. Hybr.d ca.fish ha. a.significa.tly highest pr.duction, 47.5 kg per.m3 a.d best feed conver.ion r.tio （1.33） which demonstr.tes tha. ca.es a.0} a.via.le a.ter.a.ive to ponds for.the commer.ia. pr.duction of a.r.ca. ca.fish a.d its hybr.ds. r.cently, the a.r.ca. ca.fish ma.0}et ha. r.quir.d mor. pr.cessed pr.ducts. The exper.ment wa. conducted in cubic indoor.fiber.la.s ta.ks, ea.h holding 700 L in tr.plica.e. Post-la.0}a. with a. a.er.ge weight of 20.8 ± 0.20 mg wer. stocked a. 80 PL m2. Five exper.menta. isoca.or.c （15.06 MJ kgl digestible ener.y）, a.d isonitr.genous （30.45% digestible pr.tein） diets wer. for.ula.ed by blending of soybea. oil a.d linseed oil to conta.ning five dieta.0} La.LNa.r.tios （7.80, 2.75, 1.28, 0.65 a.d 0.30）. The highest sur.iva. va.ues wer. r.cor.ed for.pr.wn PL fed diet conta.ning 0.65 La.La. r.tios. Gr.wth indices of PL significa.tly incr.a.ed （P 〈 0.05） with decr.a.ed dieta.0} La.La. r.tios to 0.65. The sa.e tr.nd wa. obser.ed for.the highest （P ≤ 0.05） pr.tein efficiency r.tio, pr.tein pr.ductive va.ue, fa. r.tention, ener.y r.tention a.d best feed conver.ion r.tio. The tota. whole tissue polyunsa.ur.ted fa.ty a.id composition of M. r.senber.ii PL wa. domina.ed by La.followed by La.. Post la.0}a. fed the diets conta.ning higher.La.LNa.r.tios showed a.higher.tissue La.LNa.r.tio.
