The need to under.ta.d flow within a.uifer.us for.a.ions for.a.complete eva.ua.ion of gr.undwa.er.r.sour.e a.d qua.ity contr.l pr.mpts the deter.ina.ion of gr.undwa.er.velocities thr.ugh well dilution technique. Well dilution techniques utilize tr.cer.solutions a.ter.esta.lishing a. initia. homogenous condition to monitor.the flow r.te of a.bient gr.undwa.er.into the wells. a.plica.ion of dilution techniques in wells ma.es it fea.ible to deter.ine the velocities of gr.undwa.er.in the a.uifer.us for.a.ion sur.ounding the well. In this study, a.simple tr.gger.tube tr.cer.dilution technique wa. employed to deter.ine the Da.0}y a.d a.pa.0}nt velocities of gr.undwa.er.in the phr.a.ic a.uifer.us for.a.ion in Ba.enda. Ca.er.on. Eighteen (18) ha.d dug-wells a. differ.nt loca.ions within Ba.enda.wer. sa.pled by utilizing sodium chlor.de (Na.l) a. the conser.a.ive tr.cer. Field estima.es of gr.undwa.er.flow velocities in the phr.a.ic a.uifer.us for.a.ion in Ba.enda.r.vea. Da.0}y's gr.undwa.er.velocity in the r.nge of 0.39 m/d a. Na.ho to 130.64 m/d a. Foncha.Str.et a.d a.pa.0}nt velocity in the r.nge of 0.78 m/d a. Na.ho to 277.86 m/d a. Foncha.Str.et. The immense va.0}a.ions in the velocities of gr.undwa.er.indica.e tha. the gr.undwa.er.flows a. differ.nt r.tes a.d dir.ctions within the a.uifer.us for.a.ion in Ba.enda. possibly due to va.0}a.ions in their.hydr.ulic conductivities.
