We hereby report the room-temperature structural and optical characterization of rECr_(0.85)Mn_(0.15)O_(3)(rECMO,rE=Ho,gd and Pr) compounds synthesized by the auto-combustion sol-gel *** low temperature dielectric properties are also *** rECMO compounds crystallize in an orthorhombic Pbnm symmetry with an average grain size range of 51-80 *** analysis reveals an increase in the structural distortion compared to that of the undoped bulk *** measurements exhibit a significant reduction in bandgap values for rECMO nanoparticles when compared with their undoped bulk ***,from the absorbance measurements various optical parameters such as skin depth,extinction coefficient,refractive index and optical conductivity were also *** dielectric analysis confirms the lower values of the dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss than those of their corresponding bulk *** conductivity versus frequency and temperature data are fitted according to the Jonscher's power law and Arrhenius law,*** small polaron hopping is responsible for the electric conduction in these *** tunability of the optical and dielectric properties as a result of substitution and particle size reduction makes these materials useful for various potential applications in photocatalysis,optoelectronics and low permittivity dielectrics.

The present study assesses the concentration,probabilistic risk,source classification,and dietary risk arising from heavy metal(HMs)pollution in agricultural soils affected by coal mining in eastern part of *** of soil and rice plant indicated significantly elevated levels of HMs beyond the permissible limit in the contaminated zones(zone 1:PbSoil:108.24±72.97,CuSoil:57.26±23.91,CdSoil:8.44±2.76,CrSoil:180.05±46.90,NiSoil:70.79±25.06 mg/kg;Pbgrain:0.96±0.8,Cugrain:8.6±5.1,Cdgrain:0.65±0.42,Crgrain:4.78±1.89,Nigrain:11.74±4.38 mg/*** 2:PbSoil:139.56±69.46,CuSoil:69.89±19.86,CdSoil:8.95±2.57,CrSoil:245.46±70.66,NiSoil:95.46±22.89 mg/kg;Pbgrain:1.27±0.84,Cugrain:7.9±4.57,Cdgrain:0.76±0.43,Crgrain:8.6±1.58,Nigrain:11.50±2.46 mg/kg)compared to the uncontaminated zone(zone 3).Carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic health risks were computed based on the HMs concentration in the soil and rice grain,with Pb,Cr,and Ni identified as posing a high risk to human *** Carlo simulation,the solubility-free ion activity model(FIAM),and severity adjusted margin of exposure(SAMOE)were employed to predict health *** hazard quotient(HQ)values for Ni,Cr,Cd,and Pb were>1,indicating a significant non-carcinogenic ***(risk thermometer)results for contaminated zones ranged from low to moderate risk(CrSAMOE:0.05,and NiSAMOE:0.03).Fuzzy-TOPSIS and variable importance plots(from random forest)showed that Ni and Cr were mostly responsible for the toxicity in the rice plant,respectively.A self-organizing map for source classification revealed common origin for the studied HMs with zone 2 exhibiting the highest *** positive matrix factorization model for the source apportionment identified coal mining and transportation as the predominant sources of *** distribution analysis indicated higher contamination near mining sites as compared to distant sampling ***,this study will aid environmental scientists and policymakers controllin

The two most frequent causes of paroxysmal SVT are atrioventricular tachycardia (AVrT) and atrioventricular nodal re-entrant tachycardia (AVNrT). The purpose of this study was to assess the diagnostic efficacy of traditional and newly proposed ECg criteria in the identification of Avnrt and Avrt. Aim of the Study: The aim of this study was to evaluate Atrioventricular Nodal reentrant Tachycardia (AVNrT) and Atrioventricular re-entrant Tachycardia (AVrT) using both traditional and novel criteria. Methods: This prospective observational study was conducted at the Electrophysiology Unit, Department of Cardiology, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Dhaka, from February 2019 to January 2020. A total of 62 patients with Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) undergoing electrophysiology study (EPS) were included. Standard ECg criteria were applied for the differential diagnosis, and electrophysiological diagnoses were made using established criteria. Statistical analysis, including descriptive statistics and appropriate tests, was performed using SPSS 23.0. result: In our study of 62 patients with Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT), we found that 66.1% had AVNrT and 33.9% had AVrT. The mean age in AVNrT was higher than AVrT (41.3 ± 9.7 vs. 38.5 ± 14.3, p = 0.36) with statistically no significant difference, with similar gender distribution between AVNrT and AVrT groups. Classical AVNrT criteria were present in 30.6% of patients, and 45.2% showed a Pseudo r' wave in aVr. Additionally, 30.6% had an rP interval ≥100ms, more prevalent in AVrT patients (66.7%). Conclusion: Integrating traditional and novel criteria, including lead aVr analysis, enhances the electrocardiographic diagnosis of AVNrT and AVrT, offering a pathway to refined patient care.

AIM: To determine the role of subjective assessment using Mc Monnies dry eye questionnaire in diagnosing dry eye disease and its association with clinical ***: There were 500 patients screened for dry eye using Mc Monnies dry eye questionnaire between May to October 2013 at the outpatient Department of Ophthalmology of a medical college hospital. All 500 patients were subjected to clinical tests. Dry eye was defined as having one or more symptoms often or all the time. Positive signs were if one or both eyes revealed tear film breakup time(TBUT) of ≤10s, a Schirmer test score of ≤10 mm, a rose Bengal staining score of ≥1, a Lissamine green staining score of ≥1 or existence of meibomian gland disease(≥grade 1). Statistical analysis was performed to describe the distribution of symptoms and signs, to assess the correlations between Mc Monnies score(MS) and variable clinical signs of dry eye, and to explore the association between dry eye symptoms and variable clinical signs. Analysis was performed using software package Epi info. A Probability(P) value using Chi-square test of gnificant.· rESULTS: Dry eye prevalence with symptoms(questionnaire), Schirmer test, TBUT, rose Bengal staining and Lissamine green staining was 25.6%,15.20%, 20.80%, 23.60%, and 22.60% respectively. Among those with severe symptoms(MS>20), 75.86% had a low TBUT(rmer’s I test(≤10 mm),86.20% had rose Bengal staining score of ≥1, 79.31%had Lissamine green staining score of ≥1.
