Vibrational resonance in a multistable system with position-dependent mass

The occurrence of vibrational resonance(Vr)in a dual-frequency-driven multistable system with a spatially varying mass modelling particle with position-dependent mass(PDM)and evolving in a one-dimensional symmetric periodic potential has been investigated and reported in this *** numerically compute and analyze the response amplitude,the effects of the PDM parameters(m0,a)on the potential structure,the occurrence of Vr and the bifurcation of the equilibrium *** is shown that the PDM parameters,besides controlling Vr,can induce unconventional resonance patterns through the variation of the potential well *** resonant states can be influenced through the cooperation of the PDM parameters and the external forcing leading the system from multiresonance state into single and double resonance *** contributions of the fixed rest mass m0 on the Vr and the PDM-induced resonance are determined by threshold conditions imposed by the magnitude of the mass nonlinear strength a.

Physicochemical properties, vitamins, antioxidant activities and amino acid composition of ginger spiced maize snack ‘kokoro’ enriched with soy flour (a Nigeria based snack)

Blends of white maize, ginger powder (white and yellow) and soy flour were prepared at the following ratio of white maize 97%: yellow ginger 3% (WM /YG);white maize 97%: white ginger 3% (WM/WG);white maize 87%: soy bean 10%: yellow ginger 3% (WM/S/YG);white maize 87%: soy bean 10%: white ginger 3% (WM/S/WG), white maize 90%: soybean 10% (WM/S), white maize 100% (WM) control. As result revealed protein content, energy value, ash contents of ginger spiced ‘kokoro’ improved significantly with the addition of ginger spice and or soy flour compared with the control. The mineral composition of ginger spiced ‘kokoro’, increased significantly at p r and or soy improves the vitamin A and C content of ginger spiced ‘kokoro’, WM/S/YG had the highest vitamin A. while WM/S/WG had the highest Vitamin C content as compared with the control (WM). result revealed that WM/S/YG displayed the highest DPPH radical scavenging actives. Significant (p rovement was observed in the amino acid content of the ginger spiced ‘kokoro’. The addition of ginger powder and or soy flour decreases the load at break (N), compressed Extension at Break (mm), and the energy at break (J) of the ginger spiced ‘kokoro’.

Electrical Properties of Nano-TiO<sub>2</sub>Thin Film Using Spin Coating Method

This work investigated the electrical properties of TiO2 thin film on empty glass and ITO glass by spin coating method. Highly transparent titanium oxide thin films were prepared on empty glass and Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) from a titanium (III) chloride precursor. The sheet resistance of the film prepared from both the synthesised and the commercially available TiO2 was measured by the Keithley four-point probe tester (KFPPT). A comparable sheet resistance of 10.69E + 00 Ω/sq was obtained on the ITO. The electrical conductivity of the TiO2 film on ITO glass substrate was found to be very high (3.46E + 05 Ω-1?cm-1) and comparable to that of the bare ITO glass.
