The nonlinear Kortewege-de Varies(KdV)equation is a functional description for modelling ion-acoustic waves in plasma,long internal waves in a density-stratified ocean,shallow-water waves and acoustic waves on a crystal *** paper focuses on developing and analysing a resilient double parametric analytical approach for the nonlinear fuzzy fractional KdV equation(FFKdVE)under gH-differentiability of Caputo fractional order,namely the q-Homotopy analysis method with the Shehu transform(q-HASTM).A triangular fuzzy number describes the Caputo fractional derivative of orderα,0r modelling *** fuzzy velocity profiles with crisp and fuzzy conditions at different spatial positions are in-vestigated using a robust double parametric form-based q-HASTM with its convergence *** ob-tained results are compared with existing works in the literature to confirm the efficacy and effectiveness of the method.

The incoherent control of finite-level quantum systems is investigated. Following a brief introduction to coherent control paradigms in quantum control, a control problem that can not be accomplished using only coherent control is presented. For such a control problem, it is proved that it can be accomplished using incoherent control based on projective measurement and coherent control for two classes of finite-level quantum systems, i.e., eigenstate controllable quantum systems and wavefunction controllable quantum systems.

The preparation of supported Pd nanoparticles on Tris(tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane)‐ modi‐fied Si O2 gel and their catalytic application in Heck coupling are investigated. The catalyst was char‐acterized using a combination of X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, field‐emission scanning electron microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy/energy‐dispersive X‐ray spec‐troscopy. The supported Pd nanoparticles were found to be a highly active and reusable catalyst for the Heck reaction at a low Pd loading(0.02 mol%) because of stabilization by the Tris moieties. Several reaction parameters, including the type and amount of solvent, base, and temperature, were evaluated. The heterogeneity of the catalytic system was investigated using different approaches, and showed that slight Pd leaching into the reaction solution occurred under the reaction condi‐tions. Despite this metal leaching, the catalyst can be reused seven times without significant loss of its activity.

Agriculture-to-urban water transfer is currently an important measure to meet the increasing water demand resulting from rapid industrialization and urbanization in *** benefits of agriculture-to-urban water transfer is critical to assess water transfer proposals,and it can also provide reliable basis for redistributing the benefits of agriculture-to-urban water *** paper has developed a comprehensive framework in which production function approach is applied to quantify the value of water use in agricultural and industrial sectors,and contingent valuation method is employed to investigate the value of water use in municipal consumption and ecological environment.A case study from Zhuji City in China verified the feasibility and validity of the method proposed in the *** indicate that the agriculture-to-urban water transfer increases the water value created by improving allocation efficiency of water use in different *** benefits of agriculture-to-urban water transfer mainly originate from the fact that the economic value in industrial water use is higher than in the other sectors’water ***,the urban residents have a stronger desire to improve the water eco-environment which leads to higher water value in urban area.

A facile synthesis of α-zirconium phosphate(ZP) nanoparticles as an effective, eco-friendly, and recyclable solid acid catalyst is reported. Polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) were used as organic matrix as dispersing agents and served as a template for the nanoparticles. Hydrogen bonds between ZP and PVA or PVP, along the polymer chains, appear to play an important role for improving the dispersion of in situ formed ZP. Following calcination of PVA/ZP or PVP/ZP, pure hexagonal ZP nanoparticles were obtained. The catalysts were characterized by nitrogen sorption, inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIr), scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. Pyridine-FTIr and temperature-programmed desorption of NH3 suggest the presence of Brnsted acid sites. The acidic properties of the catalyst were studied in Friedel-Crafts alkylation of phenol by tert-butanol, producing 2-tert-butylphenol, 4-tert-butylphenol, and 2,4-ditert-butylphenol. The alkylation reaction was performed in the presence of catalysts P2O5/Al2O3, P2O5/SiO2, α-ZrP(prepared in the absence of the polymers), and various ionic liquids. The use of the hexagonal ZP nanoparticle catalyst afforded an excellent phenol conversion(86%) and selectivity towards 4-tert-butylphenol(83%) under optimized reaction conditions. The catalyst was easily recovered from the reaction mixture, regenerated, and reused at least four times without significant loss in the catalytic activity.

Many construction and post-construction problems have been reported in the literature when saline soils have been used without understanding of their abnormal behavior,especially their inferior bearing capacity in the natural *** strength of these soils further decreases on *** soil deposits cover extensive areas in central Iran and are associated with geotechnical problems such as excessive differential settlement,susceptibility to strength loss and collapse upon *** of these characteristics,some of the roads constructed on saline soils in Taleghan area have exhibited deterioration in the form of raveling,cracking and *** main objective of this work is to improve the load-bearing capacity of pavements constructed on Taleghan saline soils using lime and micro *** samples from Hashtgerd-Taleghan road were collected and tested for improving their properties using lime and micro silica at different dosages ranging from 0 to 6%.The load-bearing capacity of stabilized soil mixtures was evaluated using California Bearing ratio(CBr) and unconfined compressive strength *** test results indicate that the lime improves the performance of soil *** addition of 2% lime with 3% micro silica has satisfied the strength-deformation ***,improved soil can be used as a good subbase in flexible pavements.

In 1993,the skeletal remains of a female corpse were found in Burgenland,*** identification of the approximately 25–35-year-old female appeared impossible,but the case was reopened 23 years *** applying biogeochemical isotope methods to her body tissues,the geographical origin of the unknown corpse could be *** results of the C,N,S,H,Sr,and Pb isotope analyses suggested that the female did not originate from Europe and most likely spent her youth in the northern *** these findings,the police were able to identify the woman within 2 *** female came from the Dominican republic and resided in Austria for only a short period before she was *** case shows that isotope biogeochemistry investigations can provide the police with crucial information that enables unknown persons to be identified.
