Landslide susceptibility mapping(LSM)based on different boosting and hyperparameter optimization algorithms:A case of Wanzhou District,China

Boosting algorithms have been widely utilized in the development of landslide susceptibility mapping(LSM)***,these algorithms possess distinct computational strategies and hyperparameters,making it challenging to propose an ideal LSM *** investigate the impact of different boosting algorithms and hyperparameter optimization algorithms on LSM,this study constructed a geospatial database comprising 12 conditioning factors,such as elevation,stratum,and annual average *** XGBoost(XGB),LightGBM(LGBM),and CatBoost(CB)algorithms were employed to construct the LSM ***,the Bayesian optimization(BO),particle swarm optimization(PSO),and Hyperband optimization(HO)algorithms were applied to optimizing the LSM *** boosting algorithms exhibited varying performances,with CB demonstrating the highest precision,followed by LGBM,and XGB showing poorer ***,the hyperparameter optimization algorithms displayed different performances,with HO outperforming PSO and BO showing poorer *** HO-CB model achieved the highest precision,boasting an accuracy of 0.764,an F1-score of 0.777,an area under the curve(AUC)value of 0.837 for the training set,and an AUC value of 0.863 for the test *** model was interpreted using SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP),revealing that slope,curvature,topographic wetness index(TWI),degree of relief,and elevation significantly influenced landslides in the study *** study offers a scientific reference for LSM and disaster prevention *** study examines the utilization of various boosting algorithms and hyperparameter optimization algorithms in Wanzhou *** proposes the HO-CB-SHAP framework as an effective approach to accurately forecast landslide disasters and interpret LSM ***,limitations exist concerning the generalizability of the model and the data processing,which require further exploration in subsequent studies.

Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization combined with PD-1 inhibitors and Lenvatinib for hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombus

BACKGrOUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients complicated with portal vein tumor thrombus(PVTT)exhibit poor prognoses and treatment *** To investigate efficacies and safety of the combination of PD-1 inhibitor,transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACe)and Lenvatinib in HCC subjects comorbid with *** From January 2019 to December 2020,HCC patients with PVTT types Ⅰ-Ⅳ were retrospectively enrolled at Beijing Ditan *** were distributed to either the PTL or TACe/Lenvatinib(TL)*** median progression-free survival(mPFS)was set as the primary endpoint,while parameters like median overall survival,objective response rate,disease control rate(DCr),and toxicity level served as secondary *** Forty-one eligible patients were finally recruited for this study and divided into the PTL(n=18)and TL(n=23)*** a median follow-up of 21.8 months,the DCrs were 88.9%and 60.9%in the PTL and TL groups(P=0.046),***,mPFS indicated significant improvement(Hr=0.25;Preated patients(5.4 months)compared to TL-treated(2.7 months)*** were no treatment-related deaths or differences in adverse events in either *** A triplet regimen of PTL was safe and well-tolerated as well as exhibited favorable efficacy over the TL regimen for advanced-stage HCC patients with PVTT types Ⅰ-Ⅳ.

BACKGrOUND Despite continuous changes in treatment methods,the survival rate for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients remains low,highlighting the importance of diagnostic methods for *** To explore the efficacy of texture analysis based on multi-parametric magnetic resonance(Mr)imaging(MrI)in predicting microvascular invasion(MVI)in preoperative *** This study included 105 patients with pathologically confirmed HCC,categorized into MVI-positive and MVI-negative *** employed Original Data Analysis,Principal Component Analysis,Linear Discriminant Analysis(LDA),and Non-LDA(NDA)for texture analysis using multi-parametric Mr images to predict preoperative *** effectiveness of texture analysis was determined using the B11 program of the MaZda4.6 software,with results expressed as the misjudgment rate(MCr).reSULTS Texture analysis using multi-parametric MrI,particularly the mi+PA+F dimensionality reduction method combined with NDA discrimination,demonstrated the most effective prediction of MVI in *** accuracy in the pulse and equilibrium phases was 83.81%.MCrs for the combination of T2-weighted imaging(T2WI),arterial phase,portal venous phase,and equilibrium phase were 22.86%,16.19%,20.95%,and 20.95%,*** area under the curve for predicting MVI positivity was 0.844,with a sensitivity of 77.19%and specificity of 91.67%.CONCLUSION Texture analysis of arterial phase images demonstrated superior predictive efficacy for MVI in HCC compared to T2WI,portal venous,and equilibrium *** study provides an objective,non-invasive method for preoperative prediction of MVI,offering a theoretical foundation for the selection of clinical therapy.

An integrated portable bio-monitoring system based on tough hydrogels for comprehensive detection of physiological activities

Advanced soft ion-conducting hydrogels have been developed rapidly in the integrated portable health monitoring equipment due to their higher sensitivity,sensory traits,tunable conductivity,and stretchability for physiological activities and personal healthcare ***,traditional hydrogel conductors are normally susceptible to large deformation and strong mechanical stress,which leads to inferior electro-mechanical stability for real application ***,a strong ionically conductive hydrogel(poly(vinyl alcohol)-boric acid-glycerol/sodium alginate-calcium chloride/electrolyte ions(PBG/SC/eI))was designed by engineering the covalently and ionically crosslinked networks followed by the salting-out effect to further enhance the mechanical strength and ionic conductivity of the *** to the collective effects of the energy-dissipation mechanism and salting-out effect,the designed PBG/SC/eI with excellent structural integrity and robustness exhibits exceptional mechanical properties(elongation at break for 559.1%and tensile strength of 869.4 kPa)and high ionic conductivity(1.618 S·m^(-1)).As such,the PBG/SC/eI strain sensor features high sensitivity(gauge factor=2.29),which can effectively monitor various kinds of human motions(joint motions,facial micro-expression,faint respiration,and voice recognition).Meanwhile,the hydrogel-based Zn||MnO_(2)battery delivers a high capacity of 267.2 mAh·g^(-1)and a maximal energy density of 356.8 Wh·kg^(-1)associated with good cycle performance of 71.8%capacity retention after 8000 ***,an integrated bio-monitoring system with the sensor and Zn||MnO_(2)battery can accurately identify diverse physiological activities in a real-time and non-invasive *** work presents a feasible strategy for designing high-performance conductive hydrogels for highly-reliable integrated bio-monitoring systems with excellent practicability.

2,6-bis(picrylamino)-3,5-dinitropyridine(PYX)has excellent thermostability,which makes its thermal decomposition mechanism receive much *** this paper,the mechanism of PYX thermal decomposition was investigated thoroughly by the reaxFF-lg force field combined with DFT-B3LYP(6-311++G)*** detailed decomposition mechanism,small-molecule product evolution,and cluster evolution of PYX were mainly *** the initial stage of decomposition,the intramolecular hydrogen transfer reaction and the formation of dimerized clusters are earlier than the denitration *** the progress of the reaction,one side of the bitter amino group is removed from the pyridine ring,and then the pyridine ring is *** final products produced in the thermal decomposition process are CO_(2),H_(2)O,N_(2),and H_(2).Among them,H_(2)O has the earliest generation time,and the reaction rate constant(k_(3))is the *** clusters are formed during the decomposition of PYX,and the formation,aggregation,and decomposition of these clusters are strongly affected by *** low temperatures(2500 K-2750 K),many clusters are *** high temperatures(2750 K-3250 K),the clusters aggregate to form larger *** 3500 K,the large clusters decompose and become *** the late stage of the reaction,H and N in the clusters escaped almost entirely,but more O was trapped in the clusters,which affected the auto-oxidation process of ***'s initial decomposition activation energy(e_(a))was calculated to be 126.58 kJ/*** work contributes to a theoretical understanding of PYX's entire thermal decomposition process.

We demonstrate a low-noise,high-gain,and large-dynamic-range photodetector(PD)based on a junction field-effect transistor(JFeT)and a charge amplifier for the measurement of quantum noise in Bell-state detection(BSD).Particular photodiode junction capacitance allows the silicon N-channel JFeT 2sk152 to be matched to the noise requirement for charge amplifier *** electronic noise of the PD is effectively suppressed and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNr)is up to 15 dB at the analysis frequency of 2.75 MHz for a coherent laser power of 50.08µ*** combining of the inductor and capacitance,the alternating current(AC)and direct current(DC)branches of the PD can operate linearly in a dynamic range from 25.06µW to 17.50 *** PD can completely meet the requirements of SNr and dynamic range for BSD in quantum optics experiments.

The applications of hydrogels have expanded significantly due to their versatile,highly tunable properties and breakthroughs in biomaterial *** this review,we cover the major achievements and the potential of hydrogels in therapeutic applications,focusing primarily on two areas:emerging cell-based therapies and promising non-cell therapeutic *** the context of cell therapy,we discuss the capacity of hydrogels to overcome the existing translational challenges faced by mainstream cell therapy paradigms,provide a detailed discussion on the advantages and principal design considerations of hydrogels for boosting the efficacy of cell therapy,as well as list specific examples of their applications in different disease *** then explore the potential of hydrogels in drug delivery,physical intervention therapies,and other non-cell therapeutic areas(e.g.,bioadhesives,artificial tissues,and biosensors),emphasizing their utility beyond mere delivery ***,we complement our discussion on the latest progress and challenges in the clinical application of hydrogels and outline future research directions,particularly in terms of integration with advanced biomanufacturing *** review aims to present a comprehensive view and critical insights into the design and selection of hydrogels for both cell therapy and noncell therapies,tailored to meet the therapeutic requirements of diverse diseases and situations.
