The robotic airship can provide a promising aerostatic platform for many potential *** applications require a precise autonomous trajectory tracking control for *** has a nonlinear and uncertain *** is prone to wind disturbances that offer a challenge for a trajectory tracking control *** paper addresses the airship trajectory tracking problem having time varying reference path.A lumped parameter estimation approach under model uncertainties and wind disturbances is opted against distributed *** uses extended Kalman filter(EKF)for uncertainty and disturbance *** estimated parameters are used by sliding mode controller(SMC)for ultimate control of airship trajectory *** comprehensive algorithm,EKF based SMC(ESMC),is used as a robust solution to track airship *** proposed estimator provides the estimates of wind disturbances as well as model uncertainty due to the mass matrix variations and aerodynamic model *** stability and convergence of the proposed method are investigated using the Lyapunov stability *** simulation results show that the proposed method efficiently tracks the desired *** method solves the stability,convergence,and chattering problem of SMC under model uncertainties and wind disturbances.

Objective:To determine the early outcomes of limb salvage surgery with mega ***:This retrospective study was conducted at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre(SKMCH&RC)from 1st January 2017 till 31st January *** like demographics,histopathology,functional and survival outcomes were retrieved from the Hospital Information *** Tumor Society(MSTS)score was used to evaluate the functional outcomes after the *** survival analyses,Kaplan-Meier curve was *** joint infection,amputation rate,metastasis,mortality rate,and recurrence were also ***:This study included 43 patients who underwent limb salvage surgery with endoprosthesis reconstruction at SKMCH&*** mean age at the time of diagnosis was(26.5±15.8)*** with distal femoral replacement had the highest MSTS scores(81.45±9.70)while those with proximal humerus replacement has the lowest MSTS scores(56.8±11.2).There was a strong association between site of tumor and MSTS(F=3.30,P=0.017).We also found a correlation between surgical site infection and MSTS scores(r=0.484,P=0.001).Patients with recurrence also had significantly lower MSTS scores(Pulative survival rate at the end of two-year follow-up was(71.4±17.1)%in proximal femur tumor patients,(88.0±7.8)%in distal femur tumor patients,and(50.0±3.5)%in proximal humerus tumor ***,patients with Ewing sarcoma had the highest survival rate(97.5±11.0)%while patients with chondrosarcoma had the lowest survival rate(77.8±13.9)%.Conclusions:Limb salvage surgery with mega-prosthesis can be performed with satisfactory functional and survival outcomes,but further studies are needed to compare it with other limb salvage *** study can be used as a reference for future studies.

Locally Advance Breast Cancer refers to a heterogeneous group of breast cancer with locally extensive disease, which may or may not involve the nodes, without any distant metastases. The study was conducted at Faisalabad Medical University (FMU), Oncology, Allied Hospital Faisalabad (Pakistan). Data of 100 patients with LABC was collected. Demographics were recorded in the form of age, socio-economic status. In clinical data, time of presentation, family history of breast cancer, the presenting symptom in the form of lump, ulceration and other skin changes were noted. Histo-pathological variables including tumor size, histopathology, Bloom & Richardson grading, estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor status (PR) and HER2 status. Results showed that after following a standard trimodality treatment approach in LABC patients, 30 percent died within two years. Disease free survival for more than two years was observed in only 25% of patients. Whereas, 70% patients had eventful (Recurrence/metastases) survival. This poor outcome was observed due to lack of health care facilities, awareness and poor socioeconomic status.

Background: The value of laparotomy closure technique may be measured by the incidence of early and late wound complications. The best laparotomy closure technique should be less time consuming, easy and cost-effective, while preventing both early and late complications. Objective: To compare the outcomes of layered versus mass closure in transverse incision during emergency laparotomy in children. Methods: This prospective comparative study was conducted at Department of Pediatric Surgery, Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), Dhaka, Bangladesh from July 2016 to June 2018. A total of 60 pediatric age cases that underwent laparotomy were included in this study. Cases were randomly allocated into two groups;30 patients were in Group A (Layered closure) and 30 patients were in Group B (Mass closure). The outcome variables were time required for wound closure, wound infection, wound dehiscence and incisional hernia. Data were analyzed and compared by statistical tests. Results: The mean age of Group A and Group B patients were 31.08 ± 30.25 months and 34.70 ± 42.73 months respectively (p = 0.706). The ratio between male and female subject was 1.1:1 in Group A and 3.3:1 in Group B. The common diseases of the study patients who underwent laparotomy were intussusceptions, intestinal obstruction due to bands and adhesion, perforated appendix and perforation of small intestine due to blunt trauma respectively. Mean wound closure time was significantly less in mass closure group [28.20 ± 2.17 minutes in layered closure group and 18.80 ± 1.67 minutes in mass closure group, (p ≤ 0.001)]. Wound infection rate, incidence of superficial wound dehiscence, and incisional hernia were relatively less in mass closure group, however, the differences were not statistically significant (p = 0.053, p = 0.095 and p = 0.301 respectively).
