AIM: To explore the effect of histone deacetylase inhibitor, trichostatin A (TSA) on the growth of biliary tract cancer cell lines (gallbladder carcinoma cell line and cholangiocarcinoma cell line) in vivo and in vitro, and to investigate the perspective of histone deacetylase inhibitor in its clinical application. METHODS: The survival rates of gallbladder carcinoma cell line (Mz-ChA-l cell line) and cholangiocarcinoma cell lines (QBC939, KMBC and OZ cell lines) treated with various doses of TSA were detected by methylthiazoy tetrazolium (MTT) assay. A nude mouse model of transplanted gallbladder carcinoma (Mz-ChA-l cell line) was successfully established, and changes in the growth of transplanted tumor after treated with TSA were measured. RESULTS: TSA could inhibit the proliferation of gallbladder carcinoma cell line (Mz-ChA-l cell line) and cholangiocarcinoma cell lines (QBC939, KMBC and OZ cell lines) in a dose-dependent manner. After the nude mouse model of transplanted gallbladder carcinoma (Mz- ChA-l cell line) was successfully established, the growth of cancer was inhibited in the model after treated with TSA. CONCLUSION: TSA can inhibit the growth of cholangiocarcinoma and gallbladder carcinoma cell lines in vitro and in vivo.

Over the past decade,aggregation-induced emission(AIE)molecules have played a pivotal role in bioimaging,anti-microbial,and photodynamic therapy,and have been at the forefront of several disciplines *** combined with chiral moieties,they can easily collide with dazzling sparks and exhibit exceptional and unique *** the application of chiral recognition and measurement of enantiomeric excess,it can identify chi-ral molecules visually based on color change and precipitation reaction,quantitatively analyze chiral molecules while determining the enantiomeric composition based on the fluorescence intensity change at different wave-lengths,and obtain two parameters about chiral molecules from one measurement,thereby demonstrating its high selectivity,sensitivity and accuracy in chiral *** the field of organic circularly polarized lu-minescent(CPL)materials,the asymmetry(g lum)of common organic light emitting elements is usually between 10−5 and 10−2,whereas the CPL asymmetry factor(g lum)of chiral AIE fluorogens(AIEgens)can reach 1.42,which is very close to the theoretical value of ***,the combination of chiral elements and luminescent groups promotes their adoption in the field of organic CPL *** we have summarized the recent applications of chiral AIEgens in both chiral molecule recognition and circularly polarized organic light-emitting diode(CP-OLED)in order to provide future researchers with a more comprehensive and detailed understanding of chiral AIEgens and to encourage more scientists to contribute to the development of AIEgens.

This paper focuses on the dynamic tracking control of ammunition manipulator system. A standard state space model for the ammunition manipulator electro-hydraulic system(AMEHS) with inherent nonlinearities and uncertainties considered was established. To simultaneously suppress the violation of tracking error constraints and the complexity of differential explosion, a barrier Lyapunov functionsbased dynamic surface control(BLF-DSC) method was proposed for the position tracking control of the ammunition manipulator. Theoretical analysis prove the stability of the closed-loop overall system and the tracking error converges to a prescribed neighborhood asymptotically. The effectiveness and dynamic tracking performance of the proposed control strategy is validated via simulation and experimental results.

Voidage(porosity or void fraction)in packed particles(or pebbles)is of fundamental importance in calculating the pressure drop,obtaining the drag,predicting the bed permeability,estimating the neutron streaming,*** the case when particles are deformed,a method of voidage correction during the packing state is proposed using a Discrete Element Method(DEM)simulation of 3D pebble flow inside a bed of cycloidal base.A function to evaluate the remaining volume of a pebble intercepted by horizontal and vertical planes is proposed for voidage *** that,the process of solving voidage distribution is provided in *** this method,the voidage inside the cycloidal-base pebble bed is obtained to refer to reported similar data for *** method can be potentially used for dynamical voidage calculation in CFD-DEM simulation which can get suitable voidage distribution after the correction.

AIM：To investigate the effects of exogenously mutated p27^kip1 （p27） on proliferation and apoptosis of human cholangiocarcinoma cell line, QBC939 in ***： Adenviral vectors were used to transfect mutated p27 cDNA into human QBC939 cell line. Expression of p27 was detected by RT-PCR. Western blot. Cell growth, morphological change, cell cycle, apoptosis and cloning formation were determined by MTT assay and flow ***： The expression of p27 protein and mRNA was increased signifi cantly in QBC939 cell line transfected with Ad-p27mt. The transfer of Ad-p27mt could signifi cantly inhibit the growth of QBC939 cells, decrease the cloning formation rate and induce apoptosis. p27 over expression caused cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase 72 h after infection with ***： p27 may cause cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase and subsequently lead to apoptosis. Recombinant adenovirus expressing mutant p27 may be potentially useful in gene therapy for cholangiocarcinoma.

AIM： To evaluate the bioequivalence of ranitidine and bismuth derived from two compound preparations. METHODS： The bioavailability was measured in 20 healthy male Chinese volunteers following a single oral dose （equivalent to 200 mg of ranitidine and 220 mg of bismuth） of the test or reference products in the fasting state. Then blood samples were collected for 24 h. Plasma concentrations of ranitidine and bismuth were analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry （ICPMS）, respectively. The non-compartmental method was used for pharmacokinetic analysis. Log-transformed Cmax, AUC（0-t） and AUC（0-∞） were tested for bioequivalence using ANOVA and Schuirmann two-one sided t-test. Tmax was analyzed by Wilcoxon＇s test. RESULTS： Various pharmacokinetic parameters of ranitidine derived from the two compound preparations, including Cmax, AUC（0-t）, AUC（0-∞）, Tmax and T1/2, were nearly consistent with previous observations. These parameters derived from test and reference drug were as follows： Cmax（0.67 ± 0.21 vs 0.68 ± 0.22 mg/L）, AUC（0-t）（3.1 ± 0.6 vs 3.0 ± 0.7 mg/L per hour）, AUC（0-∞）（3.3 ± 0.6 vs 3.2 ± 0.8 mg/L per hour）, Tmax （2.3 ± 0.9 VS 2.1 ± 0.9 h） and T1/2 （2.8 ± 0.3 vs 3.1 ± 0.4 h）. In addition, double-peak absorption profiles of ranitidine were found in some Chinese volunteers. For bismuth, those parameters derived from test and reference drug were as follows： Cmax （11.80 ± 7.36 vs 11.40 ± 6.55 μg/L）, AUC（0-t）（46.65 ± 16.97 vs 47.03 ± 21.49 μg/L per hour）, Tmax （0.50 ± 0.20 vs 0.50 ± 0.20 h） and T1/2 （10.2 ± 2.3 vs 13.0 ± 6.9 h）. Ninety percent of confidence intervals for the test/reference ratio of Cmax, AUC（0-t） and AUC（0-∞） derived from both ranitidine and bismuth were found within the bioequivalence acceptable range of 80%-125%. No significant difference was found in Tmax derived from both ranitidine and bismuth. CONCLUSION： The two compound preparations are bioequivalent and may be prescribed intercha

A series of quinolone derivatives containing benzimidazole, benzoxazole or benzothiazole ring were synthesized. The cytotoxicity of 12 new compounds was evaluated in KB, Be17402, A2780 and HT-29 cell lines. Most of synthesized compounds showed moderate inhibitory activity against cancer cells. The inhibitory activities of 6k, against KB and A2780 tumor ceils are comparable to that of topotecan, one of topoisomerase I inhibitors.
