Correlation of FMNL2 and HERC4 expression with the infiltrative growth of cancer cells in cervical cancer tissue

Objective: To study the correlation of FMNL2 and HERC4 expression with the infiltrative growth of cancer cells in cervical cancer tissue. Methods: Patients with cervical cancer who underwent surgical resection in our hospital between July 2014 and September 2016 were selected as the research subjects, the cervical cancer tissue and adjacent tissue were collected from the enrolled patients after operation to extract RNA, and PCR reaction kit was used to determine the mRNA expression of FMNL2, HERC4, epithelial mesenchymal transition genes and proliferation genes. Results: FMNL2, HERC4, Exosomes, Cripto-1, ZEB1, Snail, Vimentin, Piwil2, STOML-2, BCL-2, Smo and XIAP mRNA expression in cervical cancer tissue were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissue;Exosomes, Cripto-1, ZEB1, Snail and Vimentin mRNA expression in cervical cancer tissue with high FMNL2 expression were significantly higher than those in cervical cancer tissue with low FMNL2 expression;Piwil2, STOML-2, BCL-2, Smo and XIAP mRNA expression in cervical cancer tissue with high HERC4 expression were significantly higher than those in cervical cancer tissue with low HERC4 expression. Conclusion: The high expression of FMNL2 and HERC4 in cervical cancer tissue can promote the epithelial mesenchymal transition and proliferation of cancer cells respectively so as to participate in the infiltrative growth of cancer cells.

针对海洋核动力平台的结构和运行特点,建立了一回路流量瞬态分析计算模型,开发了海洋核动力平台自然循环计算程序。该程序可计算核动力平台横向摇摆对自然循环的影响。计算结果显示,摇摆状态将对自然循环产生不利影响,45°横向摇摆将使自然循环流量下降约5%,对于一回路的布置,提高蒸汽发生器的设备高度和减小泵的阻力系数能有效降低自然循环状态下堆芯温度和提高自然循环流量。

目的 :探讨万古霉素硫酸钙联合内固定治疗糖尿病足导致跟骨骨髓炎继发跟骨病理性“鸟嘴样”骨折的临床疗效。方法:回顾性分析2018年4月至2021年10月收治的5例糖尿病足导致跟骨骨髓炎继发跟骨病理性“鸟嘴样”骨折患者,男2例,女3例;年龄48~60岁;糖尿病病程5~13年;糖尿病足病程18~52 d;按Wagner分级均为Ⅲ级。所有患者根据病情Ⅰ期实施清创术,万古霉素骨水泥植入,负压吸引术;Ⅱ期使用万古霉素硫酸钙加内固定治疗跟骨病理性“鸟嘴样”骨折。记录患者手术切口、骨折愈合时间,观察骨髓炎复发情况,评价术后12个月美国足与踝关节协会踝与后足评分(American Orthopedic Foot Andankle Society,AOFAS)及渗出等并发症情况。结果:5例顺利完成手术,所有患者未出现下肢血管闭塞。5例获得随访,时间16~36个月。骨折内固定术后切口愈合时间16~26 d,所有骨折愈合,愈合时间16~27周。术后12个月AOFAS评分65~91分;其中优2例,良2例,可1例。其中1例术后5个月因烫伤导致足背部皮肤溃疡(非并发症),经治疗后痊愈;2例出现伤口渗漏并发症,经换药后伤口痊愈;所有患者未再发骨髓炎及骨折。结论:万古霉素硫酸钙联合内固定治疗糖尿病足导致跟骨骨髓炎继发跟骨病理性“鸟嘴样”骨折在控制感染的同时可促进骨折愈合,可获得较好的临床效果。

Renal cell carcinoma （RCC） compromises multiple types and has been emerging dramatically over the recent several decades. Advances and consensus have been achieved targeting common RCCs, such as clear cell carcinoma, papillary RCC and chromophobe RCC. Nevertheless, little is known on the characteristics of several newly-identified RCCs, including clear cell （tubulo） papillary RCC, Xpl 1 translocation RCC, t（6;11） RCC, succinate dehydrogenase （SDH）-deficient RCC, acquired cystic disease- associated RCC, hereditary leiomyomatosis RCC syndrome-associated RCC, ALK translocation RCC, thyroid-like follicular RCC, tubulocystic RCC and hybrid oncocytic/chromophobe tumors （HOCT）. In current review, we will collect available literature of these newly-described RCCs, analyze their clinical pathologic characteristics, discuss their morphologic and immunohistologic features, and finally summarize their molecular and genetic evidences. We expect this review would be beneficial for the understanding of RCCs, and eventually promote clinical management strategies.

Schizophrenia is hypothesized to arise from disrupted brain connectivity. This ＂dysconnectivity hypothesis＂ has generated interest in discovering whether there is anatomical and functional dysconnectivity between the prefrontal cortex （PFC） and other brain regions, and how this dysconnectivity is linked to the impaired cognitive functions and aberrant behaviors of schizophrenia. Critical advances in neuroimaging technologies, including diffusion tensor imaging （DTI） and functional magnetic resonance imaging （fMRI）, make it possible to explore these issues. DTI affords the possibility to explore anatomical connectivity in the human brain in vivo and fMRI can be used to make inferences about functional connections between brain regions. In this review, we present major advances in the understanding of PFC anatomical and functional dysconnectivity and their implications in schizophrenia. We then briefly discuss future prospects that need to be explored in order to move beyond simple mapping of connectivity changes to elucidate the neuronal mechanisms underlying schizophrenia.

Severe influenza remains unusual in its virulence for humans. Complications or ultimately death arising from these infections are often associated with hyperinduction of proinflammatory cytokine production, which is also known as ＇cytokine storm＇. For this disease, it has been proposed that immunomodulatory therapy may improve the outcome, with or without the combination of antiviral agents. Here, we review the current literature on how various effectors of the immune system initiate the cytokine storm and exacerbate pathological damage in hosts. We also review some of the current immunomodulatory strategies for the treatment of cytokine storms in severe influenza, including corticosteroids, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor agonists, sphingosine-l-phosphate receptor 1 agonists, cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors, antioxidants, anti-tumour-necrosis factor therapy, intravenous immunoglobulin therapy, statins, arbidol, herbs, and other potential therapeutic strategies.
