Vascular-targeted photodynamic therapy(V-PDT)is an effective treatment for port wine stains(PWS).However,repeated treatment is usually needed to achieve optimal treatment outcomes,possibly due to the limited treatment light penetration depth in the PWS *** optical clearing technique can increase light penetration in depth by reducing light *** study aimed to investigate the V-PDT in combination with an optical clearing agent(OCA)for the therapeutic enhancement of V-PDT in the rodent skinfold window chamber *** responses were closely monitored with laser speckle contrast imaging(LSCI),optical coherence tomography angiography,and stereo microscope before,during,and after the *** further quantitatively demonstrated the effects of V-PDT in combination with OCA on the blood flow and blood vessel size of skin *** combination of OCA and V-PDT resulted in significant vascular damage,including vasoconstriction and the reduction of blood *** results indicate the promising potential of OCA for enhancing V-PDT for treating vascular-related diseases,including PWS.

Factors affecting the geographical distribution of invasive species in China

Frequent international trade has accelerated alien species invasion. However, data on the distribution of invasive species after their introduction and research on the factors that determine their geographical distribution are lacking. This study analyzed the distributional trends of invasive species in China and the drivers for such trends, by identifying the effect of international trade from a dynamic analysis of 13 main invasive insect pests in three time periods - before China’s reform and opening up in 1978, from 1979 to 2001, and after China’s accession to the World Trade Organization in 2001. The results showed that the abundance of invasive species gradually decreased from south to north and from southeast coast to inland. Guangdong(442 species) and Yunnan(404 species) provinces have the highest abundance of invasive species. Among the 13 key invasive insects investigated, 3, 10 and 13 occurred chronologically in the three periods, and invaded 7, 28 and 34 provinces, respectively. Alien pests are found to invade China through Xinjiang, the Bohai Rim and the southeast. Value of imports was a strong predictor of the number of invasive species in China, and followed by temperature heterogeneity, in explaining the richness pattern of invasive animal, plants and insects, but not that of microorganisms. This study provides a scientific basis for furthering international quarantine and effective invasive species control.

目的观察表皮生长因子受体(EGFR)酪氨酸激酶抑制剂联合新辅助化疗对胃癌肝转移根治术切除率及预后情况的影响。方法选取2020年1月至2022年4月本院收治的120例胃癌肝转移患者为研究对象,结合治疗指征并在征得患者同意后将其分为对照组(50例)和观察组(70例)。对照组采用常规新辅助化疗,观察组采用EGFR酪氨酸激酶抑制剂联合新辅助化疗;比较两组患者肿瘤切除率、治疗前后血清因子变化情况、病灶缓解情况;入选患者随访12个月,比较两组远期生存情况。结果治疗后,观察组R0切除率为82.86%(58/70),高于对照组的60.00%(30/50),R1切除率为11.43%(8/70),R2切除率为5.71%(4/70),低于对照组[24.00%(12/50)、16.00%(8/50)],差异均有统计学意义(均P0.05);治疗后,观察组胰岛素样生长因子-1(IGF-1)为(252.33±50.41)μg/L,胰岛素样生长因子-2(IGF-2)为(45.22±5.71)μg/L,均低于对照组[(277.36±50.32)μg/L、(48.92±5.33)μg/L],胰岛素样生长因子结合蛋白-3(IGFBP-3)为(1.42±0.39)μg/L,高于对照组(0.92±0.11)μg/L,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。治疗后,观察组完全缓解率(CR)为28.57%(20/70),部分缓解率(PR)为35.71%(25/70),均高于对照组[10.00%(5/50)、22.00%(11/50)],肿瘤生长率(TGR)为(35.25±8.41)%,肿瘤超进展率(HPD)为7.14%(5/70),均低于对照组[(41.35±10.62)%、24.00%(12/50)],差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。随访期间,观察组中位无进展生存期(PFS)为(8.41±2.33)个月,中位总生存期(OS)为(10.85±3.44)个月,均高于对照组[(6.45±2.71)个月、(8.11±1.12)个月],差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论 EGFR抑制剂联合新辅助化疗能提升胃癌肝转移患者的肿瘤切除率,在改善患者血清指标、促进病灶恢复、延长生存周期方面有积极意义。

Zincophilic property and high electrical conductivity are both very important parameters to design novel Zn anode for aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs).However,single material is difficult to exhibit zincophilic property and high electrical conductivity at the same ***,originating from theoretical calculation,a zincophilic particle regulation strategy is proposed to address these limitations and carbon coated Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)is taken as an example to be a protective layer on zinc metal(NVPC@Zn).Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)(NVP)is a common cathode material for Zn-ion batteries,which is *** materials not only offer an electron pathway to help Zn deposition onto NVPC surface,but also enhance the zinc nucleophilicity of Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3).Hence,this hybrid coating layer can tune zinc deposition and resist side reactions such as hydrogen generation and Zn metal ***,a symmetrical battery with NVPC@Zn electrode displays highly reversible plating/stripping behavior with a long cycle lifespan over 1800 h at2 mA cm^(-2),much better than carbon and Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)solely modified Zn *** the Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)is replaced with zincophobic Al2O3or zincophilic V2O3,the stability of the modified zinc anodes is also *** strategy expands the option of zincophilic materials and provides a general and effective way to stabilize the Zn electrode.

A result on quasi k-connected graphs

Let G be a k-connected graph, and T be a subset of V（G）. If G-T is not connected,then T is said to be a cut-set of G. A k-cut-set T of G is a cut-set of G with │T│=k. Let T bea k-cut-set of a k-connected graph G. If G - T can be partitioned into subgraphs G1 and G2such that │G1│≥ 2, │G2│ 〉 2, then we call T a nontrivial k-cut-set of G. Suppose that G is a（k-1）-connected graph without nontrivial （k - 1）-cut-set. Then we call G a quasi k-connectedgraph. In this paper, we prove that for any integer k ≥ 5, if G is a k-connected graph withoutK4-, then every vertex of G is incident with an edge whose contraction yields a quasi k-connectedgraph, and so there are at least │V（G）│/2 edges of G such that the contraction of every member ofthem results in a quasi k-connected graph.

Electroacupuncture Attenuates Immune-Inflammatory Response in Hippocampus of Rats with Vascular Dementia by Inhibiting TLR4/MyD88 Signaling Pathway

Objective:To investigate whether electroacupuncture(EA)alleviates cognitive impairment by suppressing the toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)/myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88)signaling pathway,which triggers immune-inflammatory responses in the hippocampus of rats with vascular dementia(VaD).Methods:The experiments were conducted in 3 parts and in total the Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 8 groups by a random number table,including sham,four-vessel occlusion(4-VO),4-VO+EA,4-VO+non-EA,sham+EA,4-VO+lipopolysaccharide(LPS),4-VO+LPS+EA,and 4-VO+TAK-242 *** VaD model was established by the 4-VO *** days later,rats were treated with EA at 5 acupoints of Baihui(DV 20),Danzhong(RN 17),Geshu(BL 17),Qihai(RN 6)and Sanyinjiao(SP 6),once per day for 3 consecutive *** subsets,lymphocyte transformation rates,and inflammatory cytokines interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α)were measured to assess immune function and inflammation in VaD *** electron microscopy was used to observe the ultrastructure of nerve cells in the *** levels of TLR4,MyD88,IL-6,and TNF-αwere detected after EA ***4/MyD88 signaling and cognitive function were also assessed after intracerebroventricular injection of TLR4 antagonist TAK-242 or TLR4 agonist LPS with or without ***:Compared with the 4-VO group,EA notably improved immune function of rats in the 4-VO+EA group,inhibited the protein and mRNA expressions of TLR4 and MyD88 in the hippocampus of rats,reduced the expressions of serum IL-6 and TNF-α(all P0.05).Conclusions:EA attenuated cognitive impairment associated with immune inflammation by inhibition of the TLR4/MyD88 signaling ***,EA may be a promising alternative therapy for the treatment of VaD.

目的探讨包头市昆都仑水库中微塑料的污染特征及生态风险。方法在昆都仑水库表层水、沉积物和周围土壤中各采集3个环境样本，经消解、密度浮选、二次消解和浓缩4个步骤提取出微塑料后，使用Clarity软件控制的LDIR8700反射模式检测微塑料的丰度、聚合物类型、粒径和形状等特征，使用风险指数（H）和污染负荷指数法（PLI）进行生态风险评估。结果表层水、沉积物和周围土壤中微塑料平均丰度分别为（210.83±50.1）n/L、（9 633.33±1 955.33）n/kg和（10 633.33±896.29）n/kg。在表层水中，微塑料聚合物类型以聚丙烯（PP）为主，粒径在0～30μm的微塑料占比最大，形状是以薄膜状为主。在沉积物中，聚合物类型以聚丁二酸丁二醇酯（PBS）为主，0～30μm大小和薄膜状微塑料占主要地位。在周边土壤中，聚合物类型同样以PBS为主，微塑料粒径与形状则是与沉积物中的相同。基于微塑料聚合物类型的H显示各采样点微塑料H指数范围在1.22～9 111.44，风险等级涵盖Ⅰ～Ⅳ级，表层水中风险等级普遍偏高，沉积物和周围土壤中风险等级略低；而基于微塑料污染丰度的污染负荷指数（PLI）显示各采样点微塑料PLI指数范围为1～1.273 3，其平均微塑料PLI指数为1.099 5，三种环境介质中总体呈现轻微污染状态。结论昆都仑水库3种环境介质中微塑料丰度较高、来源广泛且以小粒径为主，总体风险指数偏高，污染负荷较低。
