Investigation on the mechanism of Qiangxinhuoli prescription in the treatment of chronic heart failure based on p38-MAPK signaling pathway

Background:The aim of this study is to investigate the mechanism of action underlying the therapeutic effects of the national patent Chinese medicine compound“Qiangxinhuoli prescription(QXHLF)”on chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:In vitro,the H_(9)C_(2) cell model was induced by ANGII,and cell proliferation and related protein expression were detected by Cell Counting Kit-8 and Western *** vivo,A rat model of CHF was prepared by ligation of the left anterior descending coronary *** effects of QXHLF on cardiac function in CHF rats were evaluated by cardiac index,hemodynamic changes,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,hematoxylin-eosin staining,immunohistochemistry,Western blot and *** expression of pro-apoptotic factors and anti-apoptotic factors,as well as TGFβ1,p-p38,TAK 1 mRNA,and protein,were ***:In vitro,QXHLF has a significant inhibitory effect on the proliferation of H_(9)C_(2) *** can reduce the expression levels of TAK 1,TGFβ1,p-p38,Caspase3 and BAX proteins in H_(9)C_(2) cells,and increase the expression level of BCL_(2) *** vivo,QXHLF has the potential to increase left ventricular systolic pressure,m aximum rate of change in left ventricular pressure while decreasing left ventricular end diastolic pressure,and inhibiting the serum levels of brain natriuretic ***,QXHLF exhibits significant improvements in the pathological alterations of myocardial cells and fibers in CHF rats,leading to enhanced myocardial tissue morphology and notable advantages in combating myocardial *** can reduce the levels of BAX and Caspase3 and up-regulate the expression of BCL_(2),thereby inhibiting cardiomyocyte ***,QXHLF demonstrates inhibitory effects on the mRNA and protein expression levels of TGFβ_(1),TAK_(1),and p-p38 in the heart tissue of the CHF rat ***:These findings indicate that QXHLF has a therapeutic effect on CHF by inhibiting the p38-MAPK signaling pathway,reducing m

In this paper,we propose a finite volume Hermite weighted essentially non-oscillatory(HWENO)method based on the dimension by dimension framework to solve hyperbolic conservation *** can maintain the high accuracy in the smooth region and obtain the high resolution solution when the discontinuity appears,and it is compact which will be good for giving the numerical boundary ***,it avoids complicated least square procedure when we implement the genuine two dimensional(2D)finite volume HWENO reconstruction,and it can be regarded as a generalization of the one dimensional(1D)HWENO *** numerical tests are performed to verify the high resolution and high accuracy of the scheme.

The precise movement speed regulation is a key factor to improve the control effect and efficiency of the cyborg ***,the current stimulation techniques cannot realize the graded control of the *** this study,we achieved the multi-level speed regulation of cyborg rats in the large open field and treadmill by specifically targeting the Cuneiform Nucleus(CnF)of the Mesencephalic Locomotor Region(MLR).Detailed,we measured the influence of each stimulation parameter on the speed control process which included the real-time speed,accelerated speed,response time,and acceleration *** concluded that the pulse period and the pulse width were the main determinants influencing the accelerated speed of cyborg *** the amplitude of stimulation was found to affect the response time exhibited by the cyborg *** study provides valuable insights into the regulation of rat locomotion speed and highlights the potential for utilizing this approach in various experimental settings.

Flexible sensors with zero Poisson's ratio

Flexible sensors have been developed for the perception of various stimuli. However, complex deformation,usually resulting from forces or strains from multi-axes, can be challenging to measure due to the lack of independent perception of multiaxial stimuli. Herein, flexible sensors based on the metamaterial membrane with zero Poisson's ratio(ZPR) are proposed to achieve independent detection of biaxial stimuli. By deliberately designing the geometric dimensions and arrangement parameters of elements, the Poisson's ratio of an elastomer membrane can be modulated from negative to positive, and the ZPR membrane can maintain a constant transverse dimension under longitudinal stimuli. Due to the accurate monitoring of grasping force by ZPR sensors that are insensitive to curvatures of contact surfaces, rigid robotic manipulators can be guided to safely grasp deformable objects. Meanwhile, the ZPR sensor can also precisely distinguish different states of manipulators. When ZPR sensors are attached to a thermal-actuation soft robot, they can accurately detect the moving distance and direction. This work presents a new strategy for independent biaxial stimuli perception through the design of mechanical metamaterials, and may inspire the future development of advanced flexible sensors for healthcare, human–machine interfaces and robotic tactile sensing.

According to the official website of China’s National Medicines and Pharmaceutical Administration(NMPA),a total of 87 novel drugs were approved in China in 2023,with targeted drugs accounting for 67.8%of the total,amounting to 59 drugs(Fig.1a;Table 1)[https://***/yaopin/ypjgdt/***].Notably,domestic innovation is flourishing,with five first-in-class drugs,including Glumetinib,a c-Met inhibitor from Haihe Biopharma;Leritrelvir,a 3CL protease inhibitor from Raynovent;Anaprazole,a proton pump inhibitor from Xuanzhu Biopharm;Pegol-Sihematide,an EPO drug from hansoh Pharma;and Zuberitamab from BioRay Biopharmaceutical Co.,***,the world’s first allosteric inhibitor targeting TYK2,Sotyktu(deucravacitinib),has been approved for the treatment of psoriasis and Selumetinib,a MEK inhibitor co-developed by AstraZeneca and Merck Sharp&Dohme(MSD),became the first approved drug in China for the treatment of neurofibromatosis type I(NF1).Beyond these drugs,the approval of novel drug types such as CAR-T cell products,siRNA,monoclonal antibodies,dual antibodies,and ADCs in China is a significant development in the country’s pharmaceutical industry(Fig.1a).

The trajectory tracking control performance of nonholonomic wheeled mobile robots(NWMRs)is subject to nonholonomic constraints,system uncertainties,and external *** paper proposes a barrier function-based adaptive sliding mode control(BFASMC)method to provide high-precision,fast-response performance and robustness for *** with the conventional adaptive sliding mode control,the proposed control strategy can guarantee that the sliding mode variables converge to a predefined neighborhood of origin with a predefined reaching time independent of the prior knowledge of the uncertainties and disturbances *** advantage of the proposed algorithm is that the control gains can be adaptively adjusted to follow the disturbances amplitudes thanks to the barrier *** benefit is that the overestimation of control gain can be eliminated,resulting in chattering ***,a modified barrier function-like control gain is employed to prevent the input saturation problem due to the physical limit of the *** stability analysis and comparative experiments demonstrate that the proposed BFASMC can ensure the prespecified convergence performance of the NWMR system output variables and strong robustness against uncertainties/disturbances.

Chirality transfer induced circularly polarized luminescence of achiral dye molecules by plasmonic nanohelicoid

Optical materials with circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)features have attracted a growing interest due to their crucial role in biological sensing,display,spintronics,information storage,and so ***,CPL emissions in hybrid nanoparticle systems,in particular,chirality transfer induced CPL from chiral plasmonic nanoparticles,have rarely been explored due to a lack of effective bottom-up synthesis ***,we creatively take advantage of the newly introduced chiral plasmonic nanoparticles-gold nanohelicoid(GNH)to excite the CPL of achiral Rhodamine 6G(R6G).The fabricated GNH@R6G-SiO_(2)shows obvious CPL signals with|g_(lum)|up to *** with the single GNH,the photoluminescence(PL)dissymmetry factor of the single GNH@R6G-SiO_(2)is similar,but with 25 folds higher PL intensities under different circular *** research not only offers an effective and feasible method to fabricate single-particle level CPL-active materials,but also provides guidelines on how to regulate the CPL of achiral luminophores from chiral plasmonic nanostructures,thereby enlarging the category and quantity of CPL-active materials that can be applied for photonic technologies and visualization biosensing,especially some intracellular chirality related detection.

Train-induced aerodynamic characteristics of vertical sound barriers influenced by several factors

Alleviated photoinhibition on nitrification in the Indian Sector of the Southern Ocean

Nitrification,a central process in the marine nitrogen cycle,produces regenerated nitrate in the euphotic zone and emits N_(2)O,a potent greenhouse gas as a *** regulatory mechanisms of nitrification in the Southern Ocean,which is a critical region for CO_(2)sequestration and radiative benefits,remain poorly ***,we investigated the in situ and dark nitrification rates in the upper 500 m and conducted substrate kinetics experiments across the Indian Sector in the Cosmonaut and Cooperation seas in the late austral *** findings indicate that light inhibition of nitrification decreases exponentially with depth,exhibiting a light threshold of 0.53%photosynthetically active radiation.A positive relationship between dark nitrification and apparent oxygen utilization suggests a dependence on substrate availability from primary ***,an increased NH_(4)^(+) supply can act as a buffer against photo-inhibitory ***,substrate affinity(α)increases with depth and transitions from light to dark,decreases with increasing ambient NH_(4)^(+)and exhibits a latitudinal distribution,reflecting substrate utilization *** also reveal that upwelling in Circumpolar Deep Water(CDW)stimulates nitrification through the introduction of potentially higher iron and deep diverse nitrifying microorganisms with higherα.We conclude that although light is the primary limiting factor for nitrification in summer,coupling between substrate availability and CDW upwelling can overcome this limitation,thereby alleviating photoinhibition by up to 45%±5.3%.
