The point defect and precipitate evolution of China low activation martensitic steel （CLAM） under electron beam irradiation were characterized by high voltage electron microscopy. The process was recorded in-situ on electronsensitive films. The irradiation dose rate was 1.78 × 10-3 dpa/s and the highest dose was 2.12 dpa/s. Irradiation introduced dislocation loops into the sub-grain, which increased density when the irradiation dose was increased from 0.53 dpa to 1.59 dpa at 723 k. The precipitate, found to be an M6C type, was irradiated at 773 k at the [011] plane direction. The precipitate morphology and structure were unchanged when the irradiation dose was increased to 2.12 dpa. Compared with the irradiation at 723 k in the sub-grain, no other defects were generated at the nearby grain boundary at 773 k.

The DBSA-PANI-Fe composite powder with 50wt% of Fe nanoparticles was prepared by mechanically mixing the DBSA-doped polyaniline powder and Fe nanoparticles. The composite powder was compacted to pellets and the pellets were annealed in vacuum at 443,493,543, and 593 k for 60 and 120 min. The conductivity of the pellet increases markedly with increasing the annealing temperature up to 493 k, and then decreases with further increasing the annealing temperature. When the pellet was annealed at 493 k for 60 min, the increment of conductivity reaches a maximum value, and the conductivity is 2.6 times as large as that of the pellet unannealed. The conductivities of the pellets annealed under the conditions of 543 k/120 min, 593 k/60 min, and 593 k/120 min are lower than the conductivity of the pellet unannealed. For all the pellets, the variation in conductivity with temperature reveals that the charge transport mechanism can be considered to be 1-D variable-range-hopping （1-D VRH）. The composite pellet shows a magnetic hysteresis loop independent of the annealing condition. The saturation magnetization is about 5.4×10^4 emu/kg. The saturation field and the coercivity are estimated to be 4.38×10^5 and 3.06×10^4 A/m, respectively. The crystalline structure ofFe nanoparticles in the composites does not change with the annealing condition. The annealing condition cannot destroy the polymer backbones.

Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH),a progressive form of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),is characterised by chronic liver inflammation,which can further prog-ress into complications such as liver cirrhosis and NASH-associated hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and therefore has become a growing health problem *** type I interferon(IFN)signaling pathway plays a pivotal role in chronic inflammation;however,the molecular mechanisms underlying NAFLD/NASH from the perspective of innate immune response has not yet been fully *** this study,we elucidated the mechanisms of how innate im-mune response modulates NAFLD/NASH pathogenesis,and demonstrated that hepatocyte nu-clear factor-1alpha(HNF1A)was suppressed and the typeⅠIFN production pathway was activated in liver tissues of patients with NAFLD/*** experiments suggested that HNF1A negatively regulates the TBk1-IRF3 signaling pathway by promoting autophagic degra-dation of phosphorylated-TBk1,which constrains IFN production,thereby inhibiting the activa-tion of type I IFN ***,HNF1A interacts with the phagophore membrane protein LC3 through its LIR-docking sites,and mutations of LIRs(LIR2,LIR3,LIR4,and LIRs)block the HNF1A-LC3 *** addition,HNF1A was identified not only as a novel autop-hagic cargo receptor but also to specifically induce k33-linked ubiquitin chains on TBk1 at Lys670,thereby resulting in autophagic degradation of ***,our study illustrates the crucial function of the HNF1A-TBk1 signaling axis in NAFLD/NASH pathogenesis via cross-talk between autophagy and innate immunity.

To achieve high-energy-density and safe lithium-metal batteries(LMBs),solid-state electrolytes(SSEs)that exhibit fast Li-ion conductivity and good stability against lithium metal are of great *** study presents a systematic exploration of selenide-based materials as potential SSE ***,Li_(8)SeN_(2)and Li_(7)PSe_(6)were selected from 25 ternary selenides based on their ability to form stable interfaces with lithium ***,their favorable electronic insulation and mechanical properties were ***,extensive theoretical investigations were conducted to elucidate the fundamental mechanisms underlying Li-ion migration in Li_(8)SeN_(2),Li_(7)PSe_(6),and derived Li_(6)PSe_(5)X(X=Cl,Br,I).Notably,the highly favorable Li-ion conduction mechanism of vacancy diffusion was identified in Li6PSe5Cl and Li_(7)PSe_(6),which exhibited remarkably low activation energies of 0.21 and 0.23 eV,and conductivity values of 3.85×10^(-2)and 2.47×10^(-2)S cm^(-1)at 300 k,*** contrast,Li-ion migration in Li_(8)SeN_(2)was found to occur via a substitution mechanism with a significant diffusion energy barrier,resulting in a high activation energy and low Li-ion conductivity of 0.54 eV and 3.6×10^(-6)S cm^(-1),*** this study,it was found that the ab initio molecular dynamics and nudged elastic band methods are complementary in revealing the Li-ion conduction *** both methods proved to be efficient,as relying on only one of them would be *** discoveries made and methodology presented in this work lay a solid foundation and provide valuable insights for future research on SSEs for LMBs.

Hydrodesulfurization(HDS)of sour crude oil is an effective way to address the corrosion problems in refineries,and is an economic way to process sour crude oil in an existing refinery built for sweet *** the current study,the HDS of Siberian crude oil was carried out in a slurry *** Co-Mo,Ni-Mo,and Ni-W catalysts supported onγ-Al2O3 were compared at the temperature of 340℃ and the pressure of 4.5 *** HDS activity follows the order of Co-Mo N Ni-Mo N Ni-Wat a high concentration of H2S,and the difference between Co-Mo and Ni-Mo becomes insignificant at a low concentration of *** influence of reaction temperature 320-360℃ and reaction pressure 3-5.5 MPa was investigated,and both play a positive role in the HDS reaction.A kinetic model over Ni-Mo/Al2O3 in the slurry reactor was *** activation energy is estimated as 60.34 kJ·mol−1;the orders of sulfur components and hydrogen partial pressure are 1.43 and 1.30,*** kinetic parameters are compared with those in a trickle-bed reactor,implying that the mass transfer is greatly enhanced in the slurry *** back mixing effect is present in the slurry reactor and can be reduced by a multi-stage design,which would lead to higher reactor efficiency in industrial application.

Determining the location of the Cretaceous-Paleogene(k-Pg) boundary in terrestrial strata is highly significant for studying the evolution of terrestrial ecosystems at the end of the Cretaceous(especially the extinction of non-avian dinosaurs). At present, research on terrestrial k-Pg boundaries worldwide is concentrated in the middle and high latitudes, such as North America and Northeast China. Although many studies have also been carried out in the Nanxiong Basin, located at low latitudes(which has become the standard for dividing and comparing the continental k-Pg stratigraphy in China), many researchers have proposed four possible boundaries from different perspectives. Therefore, the exact location remains to be determined. In this study, the total mercury(Hg) content, environmental magnetism, geochemistry, and other parameters for the samples collected near the four boundaries were determined and compared with existing records. Results indicated that: 1) The total Hg content significantly increased in the upper part of the Zhenshui Formation and Pingling part of the Shanghu Formation with sharp fluctuations. As per latest dating results of Deccan Traps, the significantly high Hg value was attributed to the Deccan Traps eruption. Boundary 1 was located in the middle of the Hg anomaly interval, which was consistent with the relationship between the global k-Pg boundary and time of volcanic eruption. 2) The reconstructed paleoclimate evolution curve revealed that the red sediments in the basin recorded the late Maastrichtian warming event(66.2 Ma). Regarding the relationship between the four boundaries and this warming event, only boundary 1 was found to be closest to the real k-Pg boundary of the Nanxiong Basin.
