The combination of SiC quantum dots sensitized inverse opal TiO_(2) photocatalyst is designed in this work and then applied in wastewater purification under simulated *** various spectroscopic techniques,it is found that electrons transfer directionally from SiC quantum dots to inverse opal TiO_(2),and the energy difference between their conduction/valence bands can reduce the recombination rate of photogenerated carriers and provide a pathway with low interfacial resistance for charge transfer inside the *** a result,a typical type-II mechanism is proved to dominate the photoinduced charge transfer ***,the composite achieves excellent photocatalytic performances(the highest apparent kinetic constant of 0.037 min^(-1)),which is 6.2 times(0.006 min^(-1))and 2.1 times(0.018 min^(-1))of the bare inverse opal TiO_(2) and commercial P25 ***,the stability and non-toxicity of SiC quantum dots sensitized inverse opal TiO_(2) composite enables it with great potential in practical photocatalytic applications.

In co-ionic conducting solid oxide fuel cell （SOFC）, both oxygen ion （O2） and proton （H＋） can transport through the electrolyte, generating steam in both the an-ode and cathode. Thus the mass transport phenomenon in the electrodes is quite different from that in conventional SOFC with oxygen ion conducting electrolyte （O-SOFC） or with proton conducting electrolyte （H-SOFC）. The generation of steam in both electrodes also affects the concentration over-potential loss and further the SOFC performance. However, no detailed modeling study on SOFCs with co-ionic electrolyte has been reported yet. In this paper, a new mathematical model for SOFC based on co-ionic electrolyte was developed to predict its actual performance considering three major kinds of overpotentials. Ohm＇s law and the Butler-Volmer formula were used to model the ion conduction and electrochemical reactions, respectively. The dusty gas model （DGM） was employed to simulate the mass transport processes in the porous electrodes. Parametric simulations were performed to investigate the effects of proton transfer number （tH） and current density （jtotal） on the cell performance. It is interesting to find that the co-ionic conducting SOFC could perform better than O-SOFC and H-SOFC by choosing an appropriate proton transfer number. In addition, the co-ionic SOFC shows smaller difference between the anode and cathode concentration overpotentials than O-SOFC and H-SOFC at certain t H values. The results could help material selection for enhancing SOFC performance.

Pyrene-4,5,9,10-tetraone(PTO),with a high theoretical capacity of 408 mAh·g^(−1),is a promising candidate for rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(RAZIBs),but its zincated products during discharge process suffer from high solubility in ***,aβ-ketoenamine-linked two-dimensional(2D)covalent organic framework(COF)based on a 2,7-diaminopyrene-4,5,9,10-tetraone(4KT-BD)monomer and a 2,4,6-trihydroxy-benzene-1,3,5-tricarbaldehyde(Tp)node(4KT-Tp-COF)is synthesized to address the above *** well-designed 4KT-Tp-COF displays low solubility in 3 M Zn(CF3SO3)2 owing to the favorableπ-πstacking as well as extended ***,the ingenious structural design of the active molecule and the long-range ordered nano-channels alter the intramolecular electron distribution,which facilitates the ionic ***,the 4KT-Tp-COF cathode exhibits a stable capacity of 181 mAh·g^(−1)at 0.2 A·g^(−1),superior rate capability of 139 mAh·g^(−1)at 20 A·g^(−1),and a long lifetime of 1000 cycles without capacity loss at 30 A·g^(−1).Even at a low temperature of−20°C,the electrode also performs an ultralong cycling life of 9000 cycles with a capacity of 106 mAh·g^(−1)at 5 A·g^(−1).The comprehensive characterizations of ex-situ analyses together with the theoretical calculations validate that the groups of C=O can contribute highly accessible redox-active sites for Zn^(2+)*** ultra-stable 4KT-Tp-COF cathode provides important insights for designing robust organic electrodes for sustainable and large-scale electrochemical energy storage.

Self-healing polyamide reverse osmosis membranes with temperature-responsive intelligent nanocontainers for chlorine resistance

Improving the performance of reverse osmosis membranes remains great challenge to ensure excellent NaCl rejection while maintaining high water permeability and chlorine resistance. Herein, temperature-responsive intelligent nanocontainers are designed and constructed to improve water permeability and chlorine resistance of polyamide membranes. The nanocontainer is synthesized by layer-by-layer self-assembly with silver nanoparticles as the core, sodium alginate and chitosan as the repair materials, and polyvinyl alcohol as the shell. When the polyamide layer is damaged by chlorine attack, the polyvinyl alcohol shell layer dissolves under temperature stimulation of 37 ℃, releasing inner sodium alginate and chitosan to repair broken amide bonds. The polyvinyl alcohol shell responds to temperature in line with actual operating environment, which can effectively synchronize the chlorination of membranes with temperature response and release inner materials to achieve self-healing properties. With adding temperature-responsive intelligent nanocontainers, the NaCl rejection of thin film composite membrane decreased by 15.64%, while that of thin film nanocomposite membrane decreased by only 8.35% after 9 chlorination cycles. Effective repair treatment and outstanding chlorine resistance as well as satisfactory stability suggest that temperature-responsive intelligent nanocontainer has great potential as membrane-doping material for the targeted repair of polyamide reverse osmosis membranes.

A Keggin-type polyoxomolybdate[H2biim]{Ni（biim）3（SiMO12O40）}[biim =1H,1＇H-[2,2＇]biimidazolyl]has been synthesized under hydrothermal condition and characterized by XRD,temperature-dependent IR,TG,temperature-induced and magnetism-induced 2D infrared correlation spectroscopy（2D-IR COS）and UV-vis DRS in order to explore the relationship between structure and *** 2D-IR COS spectroscopy indicates that the terminal Mo-Oμ/υbonds are more sensitive than the bridging Mo=Ot,bands to temperature variation,which is in agreement with the conclusion of temperature-dependent ***-dependent 2D-IR COS spectroscopy reveals the stretching vibration of the Mo=Ot,occurs prior to the stretching vibration of the Mo-Oμ/υ,which is due to the coordination environment and the valence of the Si *** stability of compound 1 is investigated via TG and temperature-dependent *** RhB degradation,compound 1 shows good photocatalytic abilities.
