Phlorizin alleviates deltamethrin-induced oxidative stress in brine shrimp Artemia

Deltamethrin(DEL),a commonly used pyrethroid pesticide,results in higher reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels in aquatic animals,which consequently unbalance the redox ***(PHL)is a flavonoid and a natural product promising to prevent or reduce pesticide-induced oxidative *** is a micro-crustacean widely used in marine hatcheries and an experimental aquatic organism for environmental toxicology *** research aimed to evaluate the toxicity of DEL on Artemia and the antioxidative effect of PHL against the *** show that 0.08-mg/mL PHL exerted its antioxidative effects on hatching percentage of the cysts in 24-h incubation and on body length and survival rate of Artemia in 12-d *** 12-d culture,12-,24-,and 36-h DEL exposure showed significant drops in SOD,CAT,and GSH-Px enzyme activities,and significant increases in ROS and malondialdehyde(MDA)levels in Artemia(P<0.05).On the contrary,0.08-mg/mL PHL application improved the enzyme activities and decreased the ROS and MDA levels(P<0.05).Moreover,0.08-mg/mL PHL significantly increased mRNA expression levels of Cu/Zn SOD,CAT,GST,HO-1,NQO1,and Nrf2,and decreased mRNA expression level of Keap1 in the DEL-exposed Artemia(P<0.05).Therefore,DEL is toxic to Artemia,while PHL alleviates DEL-induced oxidative damage by possibly regulating the Nrf2signaling *** study provided a theoretical basis for PHL to reduce pesticide-induced toxicity in aquatic animals.

为研究部分水解瓜尔胶(partially hydrolyzed guar gum,PHGG)对面包烘焙特性的影响,以瓜尔胶(guar gum,GG)为原料,采用酶解法制备PHGG。在比较PHGG和GG基本组成差异的基础上,采用质构仪、低场核磁共振仪、差示扫描量热仪和九分嗜好评分法研究PHGG添加量对面包烘焙品质及储藏特性的影响。基本组成分析结果表明,与GG相比,PHGG的黏度和分子质量显著下降,分别为(118.80±0.62)mPa·s、8.1 kDa。烘焙品质分析结果表明,添加PHGG对面包比容无显著影响,但可显著降低面包的烘焙损失率,从(14.08±0.77)%降低至(11.73±1.29)%;并赋予了面包更好的色泽。面包储藏特性研究结果表明:在7 d储藏期内,PHGG显著提高了面包的保水率,从(77.48±0.43)%增加至(85.58±4.15)%;改善了面包的内聚性和回复性;促进了面包内部水分的迁移,进而增加了面包内部结构的稳定性,具有延缓面包老化的效果。此外,感官评价结果表明,PHGG添加组面包的感官评分高于对照组面包。PHGG添加量(质量分数)为2.5%~4.5%时可显著改善面包的烘焙品质、储藏特性和感官品质,研究旨在为PHGG在食品加工中的应用提供一定理论参考。

目的针对阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停(Obstructive Sleep Apnea,OSA)慢性疾病构建集筛查、诊断、治疗及随访于一体的OSA专病管理平台,以实现对OSA患者的全流程管理。方法依据临床需求分析,基于B/S架构进行平台设计,使用SpringBoot框架实现系统搭建,并采用MySQL作为存储所有系统信息和数据的数据库。以某三甲综合医院的呼吸与危重症医学科、精神卫生科的患者信息为数据来源,实现各科室OSA专病患者数据的整合、集成、分析等。结果建立了包含1238例患者诊疗信息的OSA专病平台,实现了患者信息管理、高危人群筛查、随访管理等主要功能。通过平台进行治疗随访,患者的呼吸暂停低通气指数显著降低,睡眠效率显著提高,坚持使用呼吸机、按时参加随访、按时回院复查人数显著增加,且差异均具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论通过开发集筛查、诊断、随访于一体OSA患者全流程管理平台,有助于医务人员早期筛查更多高危人群、对患者实施个性化的精准健康管理,提升医生诊疗效率,提高医院健康保障和服务能力。

The rotation of polarization of a terahertz wave through subwavelength metallic structures

Structures consisting of a planar array of subwavelength metallic bars fabricated on a dielectric substrate are theoretically investigated in order to rotate the polarization of a normally incident terahertz wave in the resonance frequency *** attribute this phenomenon to one component of the terahertz electric field parallel to inclined metallic bars which is reflected strongly due to the terahertz re-radiation from accelerated electrons in the metallic bars,while the other component perpendicular to the bars transmits almost entirely through the *** theoretical analysis,we obtain the transmitted-terahertz components polarized in the x-and y-directions,*** studies indicate polarization of a terahertz wave can be rotated within two specific frequency bands when the terahertz impinges on the double-bar sample.

Tunable terahertz transmission behaviors and coupling mechanism in hybrid MoS_(2)metamaterials

A hybrid metamaterial with the integration of molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))overlayer is proposed to manipulate the terahertz(THz)*** simulated results indicate that the introduction of MoS_(2) layer could significantly modify the resonant responses with large resonance red-shift and bandwidth broadening due to the depolarization field effect,especially for the structure on the small permitivity ***,the wide-band modulator in off-resonant region and a switch effect at resonance can be achieved by varying the conductivity of MoS_(2) *** theoretical calculations based on the Lorentz coupling model are consistent with the simulated results,explicating the response behaviors originate from the coupling between MoS_(2) overlayer and the *** results could provide a possibility for active control THz modulator and switchable device based on the MoS_(2) overlayer and advance the understanding of the coupling mechanism in hybrid structures.

Carrier dynamics and terahertz photoconductivity of doped silicon measured by femtosecond pump-terahertz probe spectroscopy

The carrier dynamics and terahertz photoconductivity in the n-type silicon (n-Si) as well as in the p-type Silicon (p-Si) have been investigated by using femtosecond pump-terahertz probe technique. The measurements show that the relative change of terahertz transmission of p-Si at low pump power is slightly smaller than that of n-Si,due to the lower carrier density induced by the recombination of original holes in the p-type material and the photogenerated electrons. At high pump power,the bigger change of terahertz transmission of p-Si originates from the greater mobility of the carriers compared to n-Si. The transient photoconductivities are calculated and fit well with the Drude-Smith model,showing that the mobility of the photogenerated carriers decreases with the increasing pump power. The obtained results indicate that femtosecond pump-terahertz probe technique is a promising method to investigate the carrier dynamics of semiconductors.

The optical property and spectroscopy of selected kinds of lubricating oil are studied based on the terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) in the spectral range of 0.3-1.6 THz. The samples are classified by their characteristics via the near-infrared spectrum. The experimental results reveal that lubricating oil is more sensitive in the range of terahertz than in the near-infrared,and the specific kinds of lubricating oil can be identified according to their different spectral features in the terahertz range. The THz-TDS technology applied to lubricating oil analysis has potentially significant impact on the petroleum field.

自然发酵猕猴桃果酒中降苹果酸酵母的筛选与鉴定

该研究以自然发酵猕猴桃果酒中分离得到的7株低产醇酵母菌(编号为YK1~YK7)为研究对象,通过测定其在含有10 g/L苹果酸的酵母浸出粉胨葡萄糖(YPD)培养基中培养后的pH值及总酸含量,筛选具有降苹果酸的酵母菌。利用筛选菌株发酵制备猕猴桃果酒,研究其对猕猴桃果酒降酸、降醇效果,并通过形态学观察、生理生化鉴定及分子生物学技术对其进行菌种鉴定。结果表明,筛选得到5株具有苹果酸降解能力的酵母菌株(YK1、YK2、YK3、YK5、YK6),总降酸率为32.45%~48.76%。采用这5株酵母菌株发酵制备猕猴桃果酒,总酸、苹果酸含量均下降,总降酸率为3.56%~15.67%,苹果酸降酸率为25.90%~33.02%。经鉴定,菌株YK1、YK2、YK5与YK6为异常威克汉姆酵母(Wickerhamomyces anomalus),菌株YK3为酿酒酵母(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)。其中,菌株YK6降苹果酸效果最好,其发酵制备的猕猴桃果酒pH为3.66,总酸含量为10.58 g/L,苹果酸含量为3.40 g/L,酒精度为2.2%vol,说明菌株YK6可作为酿造低酸、低醇猕猴桃果酒的优良酵母。

Characteristic spectra in the 0.5-2.5 terahertz (THz) range of three commercial derv fuel oils have been obtained using THz time-domain spectroscopy and calculated using density functional *** simulated results and experimental absorption curves suggest that the skeleton vibration is predominant in the THz region,and the absorption bumps of diesels are a superposition of various *** investigation demonstrates that different diesels can be distinguished using THz time-domain spectroscopy and THz technology is a promising method to detect the composition and properties of diesels via chemical analysis.
