Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a systemic disorder affecting intestinal tract and other organs outside the gut,known as extraintestinal manifestations(EIMs).These EIMs are complex and diverse,and early treatment may reduce teratogenic rates and improve quality of ***,our understanding of EIMs in IBD is currently limited by a lack of mechanistic ***,advances in our understanding of intestinal microecology are allowing us to uncover the underlying mechanisms of *** gut microbiota can drive aberrant immune activation and intestinal ***,chronic inflammation can also shape the microbiome in reverse and aggravate *** research has revealed that microbiome-derived signal molecules play a crucial role in catalyzing enterocolitis and altering mucosal barrier ***,gut microbiota-associated antigens can translocate from the intestine to extraintestinal sites,leading to systemic inflammatory *** microbiome is showing its potential in treating IBD and EIMs,and microbial engineering approaches,such as probiotic engineering and engineered fecal microbiota transplantation,are exhibiting great promise for IBD therapeutics.

Selecting a proper set of covariates is one of the most important factors that influence the accuracy of digital soil mapping(DSM).The statistical or machine learning methods for selecting DSM covariates are not available for those situations with limited *** solve the problem,this paper proposed a case-based method which could formalize the covariate selection knowledge contained in practical DSM *** proposed method trained Random Forest(RF)classifiers with DSM cases extracted from the practical DSM applications and then used the trained classifiers to determine whether each one potential covariate should be used in a new DSM *** this study,we took topographic covariates as examples of covariates and extracted 191 DSM cases from 56 peer-reviewed journal articles to evaluate the performance of the proposed case-based method by Leave-One-Out cross *** with a novices’commonly-used way of selecting DSM covariates,the proposed case-based method improved more than 30%accuracy according to three quantitative evaluation indices(i.e.,recall,precision,and F1-score).The proposed method could be also applied to selecting the proper set of covariates for other similar geographical modeling domains,such as landslide susceptibility mapping,and species distribution modeling.

Both MXene and zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)derivatives are tend to agglomerate during the compound process,which adversely affects their electrochemical *** alleviate this phenomenon,fewlayer MXene was stripped by mechanical method,and electrostatic self-assembly with ZIF-67 in the presence of cationic ***,CoNi_(2)S_(4)/MXene composite was synthesized by the facile hydrothermal ***_(2)S_(4)well retained the cube frame structure of the ZIF-67 with the sagging outer frame and rough *** the composite,CoNi_(2)S_(4)nanocubes were interlinked by MXene nanosheets,which can effectively improve the structural stability and make full use of the active ***_(2)S_(4)/MXene composite electrode exhibits an outperforming specific capacitance(751 C·g^(-1)at 1 A·g^(-1)),far higher than that of pure CoNi2S4(600 C·g^(-1)at 1 A·g^(-1)).An asymmetric supercapacitor(CoNi_(2)S_(4)/MXene//reduced graphene oxide(RGO))assembling delivers high energy density of 33.8 Wh·kg^(-1)and excellent cycling *** study indicates the potential of MXene/ZIF derivatives in the application of supercapacitor.

A novel 2D coordination polymer [Zn2（bim）4]n（1）（Hbim=benzimidazole） based on dihydrated- [N,N＇-bis（2-aminophenl）-oxalamide]（L1·2H2O） with zinc nitrate has been synthesized. Previously we have synthesized complexes [In：Zn3（im）12]n（2）（Him= imidazole） and [Zn（im）2]n（3） successfully. In complex 1, each Zn（Ⅱ） coordinated with four ligands adopts a distorted tetrahedron coordination mode, and the 2D grid structure is built by the Zn（bim）4 as the secondary building unit（SBU）. The luminescence properties of the three complexes were investigated for the first time. The emissions with maxima for complexes 1, 2 and 3 are at 379, 469 and 392 nm, respectively.

Lithium metal is deemed as an ideal anode material in lithium-ion batteries because of its ultrahigh theoretical specific capacity and the lowest redox ***,the rapid capacity attenuation and inferior security resulting from the dendritic lithium growth severely limit its *** a novel hybrid gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) based on electrospun lithium sulfonated polyoxadiazole (LiSPOD) nanofibrous membrane swelled by lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (Li TFSI) ether liquid electrolyte is proposed to address the issue of lithium *** Li-SPOD membrane synthesized by a simple one-pot method exhibits excellent mechanical strength and thermal resistance due to its high molecular weight and rigid *** electron-withdrawing oxadiazole ring and oxadiazole ring-Li;complex,and N,O heteroatoms with lone pairs of electrons in Li-SPOD macromolecular chains facilitate the dissociation of-SO_(3)Li group and Li^(+)*** hybrid Li-SPOD GPE exhibits both a high lithium-ion transference number (0.64) and high ionic conductivity (2.03 m S/cm) as well as superior interfacial compacity with lithium *** Li Fe PO_(4)-Li cell using this novel GPE can operate steadily at 2C for 300 cycles,remaining a high discharge capacity of 125 m Ah/g and dendrite-free *** performance improvements for the Li-Li and Cu-Li cells are also presented.

In this work,we screened three Grubbs catalysts and two Hoveyda-Grubbs catalysts for the production of H_(2) by dehydrogenation of formic acid(FA).The best results were achieved with the use of a first-generation Hoveyda-Grubbs *** a catalyst loading of mere 0.5μmol, a maximum TON of 36356 was obtained within 3 *** key intermediates were identified by using 1H NMR and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy(HRESI-MS),based on which a mechanism possibly responsible for the observed catalysis was proposed.

Red pitaya(Hylocereus polyrhizus)fruit is a high-value,functional food,containing a high level of *** genes potentially related to betalain biosynthesis,such as cytochrome P450-like(CytP450-like),have been identified in pitaya fruit,while their transcriptional regulation remains *** this work,the potential involvement of a WRKY transcription factor,HpWRKY44,in regulating CytP450-like1 expression in pitaya fruit was ***44,a member of the Group 1 WRKY family,contains two conserved WRKY motifs and is localized in the ***44 also exhibits trans-activation *** expression analysis showed that the expression of HpCytP450-like1 and HpWRKY44 increased steadily during pitaya fruit coloration,which corresponded with the production of elevated betalain levels in the ***44 was also demonstrated to directly bind to and activate the HpCytP450-like1 promoter via the recognition of the W-box element present in the ***,our findings indicate that HpWRKY44 transcriptionally activates HpCytP450-like1,which perhaps,at least in part,contributes to betalain biosynthesis in pitaya *** information provided in the current study provides novel insights into the regulatory network associated with betalain biosynthesis during pitaya fruit coloration.

Recently,poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based solid polymer electrolytes have been attracting great attention,and efforts are currently underway to develop PEO-based composite electrolytes for next generation high performance all-solid-state lithium metal *** this article,a novel sandwich structured solid-state PEO composite electrolyte is developed for high performance all-solid-state lithium metal *** PEO-based composite electrolyte is fabricated by hot-pressing PEO,LiTFSI and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene nanosheets into glass fiber cloth(GFC).The as-prepared GFC@PEO-MXene electrolyte shows high mechanical properties,good electrochemical stability,and high lithium-ion migration number,which indicates an obvious synergistic effect from the microscale GFC and the nanoscale *** as,the GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene electrolyte shows a high tensile strength of 43.43 MPa and an impressive Young's modulus of 496 MPa,which are increased by 1205%and 6048%over those of ***,the ionic conductivity of GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene at 60℃ reaches 5.01×10^(-2) S m^(-1),which is increased by around 200%compared with that of GFC@PEO *** addition,the Li/Li symmetric battery based on GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene electrolyte shows an excellent cycling stability over 800 h(0.3 mA cm^(-2),0.3 mAh cm^(-2)),which is obviously longer than that based on PEO and GFC@PEO electrolytes due to the better compatibility of GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene electrolyte with Li ***,the solid-state Li/LiFePO_(4) battery with GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene as electrolyte demonstrates a high capacity of 110.2–166.1 mAh g^(-1) in a wide temperature range of 25–60C,and an excellent capacity retention *** developed sandwich structured GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene electrolyte with the excellent overall performance is promising for next generation high performance all-solid-state lithium metal batteries.

Probabilistic outlier detection for sparse multivariate geotechnical site investigation data using Bayesian learning

Various uncertainties arising during acquisition process of geoscience data may result in anomalous data instances(i.e.,outliers)that do not conform with the expected pattern of regular data *** sparse multivariate data obtained from geotechnical site investigation,it is impossible to identify outliers with certainty due to the distortion of statistics of geotechnical parameters caused by outliers and their associated statistical uncertainty resulted from data *** paper develops a probabilistic outlier detection method for sparse multivariate data obtained from geotechnical site *** proposed approach quantifies the outlying probability of each data instance based on Mahalanobis distance and determines outliers as those data instances with outlying probabilities greater than *** tackles the distortion issue of statistics estimated from the dataset with outliers by a re-sampling technique and accounts,rationally,for the statistical uncertainty by Bayesian machine ***,the proposed approach also suggests an exclusive method to determine outlying components of each *** proposed approach is illustrated and verified using simulated and real-life *** showed that the proposed approach properly identifies outliers among sparse multivariate data and their corresponding outlying components in a probabilistic *** can significantly reduce the masking effect(i.e.,missing some actual outliers due to the distortion of statistics by the outliers and statistical uncertainty).It also found that outliers among sparse multivariate data instances affect significantly the construction of multivariate distribution of geotechnical parameters for uncertainty *** emphasizes the necessity of data cleaning process(e.g.,outlier detection)for uncertainty quantification based on geoscience data.
