Toughening the petroleum-based epoxy resin blends with bio-based modifiers without compromising their modulus,mechanical strength,and other properties is still a big challenge in view of the *** this study,a bio-based liquid crystal epoxy resin(THMT-E P)with an s-triazine ring structure was utilized to modify a petroleum-based bisphenol A epoxy resin(E51)with 4,4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone(DDS)as a curing agent,and the blended systems were evaluated for their thermal stability,mechanical properties,and flame *** results showed that the impact strength of the blended system initially increased and then decreased with the increase in THMT-EP content,and it reached the a maximum value of 26.5 kJ/m^(2)when the THMT-EP content was 5%,which was 31.2%higher than that of E51/***,the flexural strength,modulus,and glass transition tem perature of the blended system were all simultaneously improved with the addition of *** the same time,the addition of THMT-EP enhanced the flame retardancy of the system by increasing the char yield at 700℃and decreasing the peak heat release rate and total heat release *** work paves the way for a more sustainable improvement in the comprehensive performance of epoxy resin.

Low Surface Brightness Galaxies from BASS+MzLS with Machine Learning

From ∼5000 deg^(2) of the combination of the Beijing–Arizona Sky Survey and Mayall z-band Legacy Survey which is also the northern sky region of the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) Legacy Imaging Surveys, we selected a sample of 31,825 candidates of low surface brightness galaxies (LSBGs) with the mean effective surface brightness 24.2he half-light radius 2.″5 he released photometric catalog and the machine learning model. The distribution of the LSBGs is bimodal in the g−r color, indicating the two distinct populations of the blue (g−r 0.60) LSBGs. The blue LSBGs appear spiral, disk or irregular while the red LSBGs are spheroidal or elliptical and spatially clustered. This trend shows that the color has a strong correlation with galaxy morphology for LSBGs. In the spatial distribution, the blue LSBGs are more uniformly distributed while the red ones are highly clustered, indicating that red LSBGs preferentially populate a denser environment than the blue LSBGs. Besides, both populations have a consistent distribution of ellipticity (median ∈∼ 0.3), half-light radius (median r_(eff) ∼ 4″) and Sérsic index (median n=1), implying the dominance of the full sample by the round and disk galaxies. This sample has definitely extended the studies of LSBGs to a regime of lower surface brightness, fainter magnitude and broader other properties than the previously Sloan Digital Sky Survey-based samples.

Neuromorphic computing is known for its efficient computational speed,low latency,and reduced power consumption,which is considered a pivotal technology to overcome the von Neumann *** synapses are an indispensable component of neuromorphic computational artificial neural *** guarantee effective and precise processing of optical signals,it must have a high responsivity,detectivity,and the ability to adapt to various ***,a synaptic transistor based on the HfS_(2)/VO_(2) heterojunction with a responsivity of8.6×10^(3) A·W^(-1)and a detectivity of 1.26×10^(14)Jones at405 nm laser was ***,the typical synaptic behavior was successfully simulated,including postsynaptic currents(PSCs),the transition from shortterm plasticity(STP)to long-term plasticity(LTP).When VO_(2) converts from the semiconductor state to the metal state,the HfS_(2)/VO_(2) heterojunction transforms into a Schottky heterojunction from a TypeⅡheterojunction with ***'s important,the heterojunction still exhibits excellent responsivity and detectivity,as well as stability of synaptic *** addition,the classical Pavlovian conditioning experiment is simulated under different laser intensity to study the brain's associative learning *** results demonstrate that the HfS_(2)/VO_(2) heterojunction synapse exhibits significant responsivity and detectivity and is adaptable to high-temperature environments,showing great potential for neuromorphic computational applic ations.

Freeze‒thaw induced landslides(FTILs)in grasslands on the Tibetan Plateau are a geological disaster leading to soil *** landslides reduce biodiversity and intensify landscape fragmentation,which in turn are strengthen by the persistent climate change and increased anthropogenic ***,conventional techniques for mapping FTILs on a regional scale are impractical due to their labor-intensive,costly,and time-consuming *** study focuses on improving FTILs detection by implementing image fusion-based Google Earth Engine(GEE)and a random forest *** of multiple data sources,including texture features,index features,spectral features,slope,and vertical‒vertical polarization data,allow automatic detection of the spatial distribution characteristics of FTILs in Zhidoi county,which is located within the qinghai‒Tibet Engineering Corridor(QTEC).We employed statistical techniques to elucidate the mechanisms influencing FTILs *** enhanced method identifies two schemes that achieve high accuracy using a smaller training sample(scheme A:94.1%;scheme D:94.5%)compared to other methods(scheme B:50.0%;scheme C:95.8%).This methodology is effective in generating accurate results using only~10%of the training sample size necessitated by other *** spatial distribution patterns of FTILs generated for 2021 are similar to those obtained using various other training sample sources,with a primary concentration observed along the central region traversed by the *** results highlight the slope as the most crucial feature in the fusion images,accounting for 93%of FTILs occurring on gentle slopes ranging from 0°to 14°.This study provides a theoretical framework and technological reference for the identification,monitoring,prevention and control of FTILs in *** developments hold the potential to benefit the management of grassland ecosystem,reduce economic losses,and promote grassland sustainability.

Deterministic and Robust Volt-var Control Methods of Power System Based on Convex Deep Learning

Volt-var control(VVC)is essentially a non-convex optimization problem due to the non-convexity of power flow(PF)constraints,resulting in the difficulty in obtaining the optimum without convexity *** existing second-order cone method for the convexity conversion often leads to a sharp increase in PF constraints and optimization variables,which in turn increases the optimization difficulty or even leads to optimization *** paper first proposes a deterministic VVC method based on convex deep learning power flow(DLPF).This method uses the input convex neural network(ICNN)to establish a single convex mapping between state parameters and node voltage to complete the convexity conversion while the optimization variables only correspond to reactive power equipment,which can ensure the global optimum with extremely fast computation *** cope with the impact brought by the uncertainty of distributed energy and omit the additional worst scenario search of traditional robust VVC,this paper proposes robust VVC method based on convex deep learning interval power flow(DLIPF),which continues to adopt ICNN to establish another convex mapping between state parameters and node voltage *** DLIPF with DLPF,this method decreases the modeling and optimization difficulty of robust VVC *** results on 30-bus,118-bus,and 200-bus systems prove the correctness and rapidity of the proposed methods.

Intermediate phase-assisted growth of CsPbBr_(3) for high performance of carbon-based perovskite solar cells

CsPbBr_(3)inorganic perovskites have been regarded as the promising materials in the field of photo-voltaics because of the high tolerance against *** high energy barrier of phase transition from lead bromide(PbBr_(2))to CsPbBr_(3)perovskite and low solubility of perovskite in organic solvent impede the further improvement of device performance in terms of CsPbBr_(3)solar ***,an intermediate phase-assisted growth of CsPbBr_(3)perovskite was proposed by introducing tetraphenylphosphonium bromide(TPPB)as *** TPPB is expected to react with PbBr_(2)in organic solvent to form an intermediate phase of[***]-PbBr_(2),which not only effectively improves the crystallinity of PbBr2 crystals,but also greatly reduces the phase transition energy barrier,leading to uniform and compact CsPbBr_(3)perovskite films with large grain size and high *** combination with carbon electrode,the CsPbBr_(3)solar cells yield a champion device performance of 9.57%in comparison of pristine CsPbBr_(3)solar cells showing a low efficiency of 8.17%.Furthermore,the intermediate phaseassisted growth of CsPbBr_(3)-based solar cells displays an outstanding storage over720 h.

High-energy density lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with layered high-nickel oxide cathodes(LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2),x≥0.8)show great promise in consumer electronics and vehicular ***,LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)faces challenges related to capacity decay caused by residual alkalis owing to high sensitivity to *** address this issue,we propose a hazardous substances upcycling method that fundamentally mitigates alkali content and concurrently induces the emergence of an anti-air-sensitive layer on the cathode *** the neutralization of polyacrylic acid(PAA)with residual alkalis and then coupling it with 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane(KH550),a stable and ion-conductive cross-linked polymer layer is in situ integrated into the LiNi_(0.89)Co_(0.06)Mn_(0.05)O_(2)(NCM)*** characterization and measurements demonstrate its *** NCM material exhibits impressive cycling performance,retaining 88.4%of its capacity after 200 cycles at 5 C and achieving an extraordinary specific capacity of 170.0 mA h g^(-1) at 10 ***,this layer on the NCM efficiently suppresses unfavorable phase transitions,severe electrolyte degradation,and CO_(2)gas evolution,while maintaining commendable resistance to air *** surface modification strategy shows widespread potential for creating air-stable LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)cathodes,thereby advancing high-performance LIBs.
