Cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention and INtERHEARt risk stratification among middle-aged adults in Malaysia

Objective:to investigate the interrelationship between cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention,and INtERHEARt risk stratification in a middle-aged adult population in ***:A cross-sectional survey with convenience sampling was conducted during November 2022 and January *** completed validated questionnaires assessing cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception of cardiovascular diseases,behavioural intention towards adopt.ng healthy habits,and INtERHEARt risk stratification score(IHRS)based on established risk factors.A total of 602 respondents were included in the final *** were analysed with independent t-test/one-way ANOVA or Mann-Whitney/Kruskal-Wallis to test the differences,Pearson correlation or linear regression test to analyze the association of independent and dependent ***:there was a significant positive correlation between medical knowledge related to cardiovascular disease(CVD)and knowledge related to CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioural intention and IHRS(Ption).Notably,individuals with higher IHRS tended to have lower knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,and behavioural ***,laborers,active/former smokers,individuals with lower household income and educational levels,those involved in occupations not related to the healthcare sector,and those who did not receive the CVD health brochure or are unaware of health self-assessment tools are likely to have lower levels of knowledge,risk perception,and poorer behavioural intention regarding cardiovascular health(Ptional level,smoking status,awareness about CVD poster,self-assessment tools were repeatedly significantly associated with knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioral intention and/or IHRS(Pthese findings underscore the importance of promot.ng car

Laser plasma accelerators(LPAs)enable the generation of intense and short proton bunches on a micrometre scale,thus offering new experimental capabilities to research fields such as ultra-high dose rate radiobiology or material *** spectrally broadband,laser-accelerated proton bunches allow for tailored volumetric dose deposition in a sample via single bunches to excite or probe specific sample *** rising number of such experiments indicates a need for diagnostics providing spatially resolved characterization of dose distributions with volumes of approximately 1 cm^(3) for single proton bunches to allow for fast online *** we present the scintillator-based miniSCIDOM detector for online single-bunch tomographic reconstruction of dose distributions in volumes of up to approximately 1 cm^(3).the detector achieves a spatial resolution below 500μm and a sensitivity of 100 *** detector performance is tested at a proton therapy cyclotron and an LPA proton *** experiments’primary focus is the characterization of the scintillator’s ionization quenching behaviour.

Objective the placebo response in depression studies is the change in symptoms amongst those who receive an inactive *** well-designed randomized controlled trials(RCts)of depression have a high proportion of placebo responders,with little understanding as to *** present study assesses characteristics associated with the placebo response in a nutraceutical trial with a large proportion of placebo *** this is a secondary analysis of a nutraceutical depression RCt which identified no overall treatment benefit relative to placebo(n=69 in placebo group).We investigated participant characteristics such as socio-demographics,clinical features,and recruitment methods,and their association with the placebo *** genetic polymorphisms were also *** response was measured based on change in Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rat.ng Scale *** association of these hypothesis-driven variables of interest and the placebo response was examined using linear mixed effects *** Greater levels of education,particularly pursuing post-high school education,better self-reported general health,marriage/de facto,greater improvement in the first trial week,and more failed antidepressant therapies in the current depressive episode were associated with greater placebo *** increased placebo response was not found in those recruited via social media nor in those with concomitant antidepressant *** nucleotide polymorphisms from the tryptophan hydroxylase 1(tPH1)gene(A779C and A218C)were weakly associated with greater placebo response,although the evidence was attenuated after account.ng for multiple *** this is,to our knowledge,the first study within nutraceutical research for depression to assess the association between participant characteristics and variation in the placebo *** variables appeared to predict the placebo *** findings may encourage future trial design

达格列净片在中国健康受试者中的生物等效性研究

目的评估受试制剂达格列净片（10 mg）与参比制剂在健康成年受试者空腹和餐后状态下的生物等效性及安全性评价。方法用单中心、随机、开放、两周期、两序列、双交叉设计。空腹组和餐后组共入组68例受试者。空腹试验32例，餐后试验36例，分别单次口服受试制剂或参比制剂10 mg。用液相色谱-串联质谱（LC-MS/MS）法检测血浆中达格列净浓度，用Phoenix WinNonlin 8.2进行药代动力学参数的计算，评价2种制剂的生物等效性，并进行相关的安全性评价。结果空腹组达格列净片的受试制剂和参比制剂的主要药代动力学参数：Cmax分别为（195.08±58.24）和（200.22±45.20） ng·mL-1,tmax分别为0.67和0.67 h, AUC0-t分别为（553.52±97.82）和（552.47±106.07） ng·h·mL-1,AUC0-∞分别为（580.40±103.79）和（579.42±111.23） ng·h·mL-1。餐后组达格列净片的受试制剂和参比制剂的主要药代动力学参数：Cmax分别为（123.38±39.50）和（125.80±39.05） ng·mL-1,tmax分别为2.00和2.50 h, AUC0-t分别为（606.05±129.44）和（596.73±131.97） ng·h·mL-1,AUC0-∞分别（637.12±138.77）和（629.38±136.81） ng·h·mL-1。受试制剂与参比制剂的Cmax、AUC0-t和AUC0-∞的几何均值比的90%置信区间都在80.00%～125.00%等效区间内。空腹和餐后试验的药物不良反应发生率分别为3.23%和5.56%。结论达格列净片受试制剂和参比制剂在中国健康受试者中具有生物等效性，且安全性良好。

Amyloid and tau positive mild cognitive impairment:clinical and biomarker characteristics of dementia progression

Background:According to the amyloid,tau,neurodegeneration research framework classification,amyloid and tau positive(A+t+)mild cognitive impairment(MCI)individuals are defined as prodromal Alzheimer *** study was designed to compare the clinical and biomarker features between A+t+MCI individuals who progressed to progressive MCI(pMCI)and those who remained stable MCI(sMCI),and to identify relevant baseline clinical biomarker and features that could be used to predict progression to dementia within 2 ***:We stratified 197 A+t+MCI individuals into pMCI(n=64)and sMCI(n=133)over 2 *** and cognitive assessment scores,cerebrospinal fluid(CSF),and neuroimaging biomarkers(18F-florbetapir positron emission tomography mean standardized uptake value ratios[SUVR]and structural magnetic resonance imaging[MRI])were compared between pMCI and sMCI at baseline,12-and 24-month *** regression models then were used to evaluate clinical baseline and biomarker features that predicted dementia progression in A+t+***:pMCI individuals had higher mean 18F-florbetapir SUVR,CSF total-tau(t-tau),and p-tau181P than those in sMCI *** individuals performed poorer in cognitive assessments,both global and domain specific(memory,executive,language,attention,and visuospatial skills)than *** baseline,there were significant differences in regions of interest of structural MRI between the two groups,including bilateral amygdala,hippocampus and entorhinal,bilateral inferior lateral ventricle,left superior and middle temporal,left posterior and caudal anterior cingulate(Pt-tau levels and cognitive scores of Montreal cognitive assessment,functional assessment questionnaire,and everyday cognition by the patient’s study partner language domain could predict progression to dementia in A+t+MCI within 2 ***:In future clinical trials,specific CSF and cognitive measures that predict dementia progression in A

预测行血管内介入治疗的急性脑梗死患者预后不良风险列线图模型构建与验证

目的构建预测行血管内介入治疗的急性脑梗死患者预后不良的列线图模型,探讨其在预后评估中的价值。方法2020年3月—2023年3月南阳市中心医院诊治急性脑梗死患者167例,均行血管内介入治疗,术后3个月采用改良Rankin量表评分(mRS)评估患者预后,其中mRStic回归分析行血管内介入治疗的急性脑梗死患者预后不良的影响因素;根据影响因素构建预测行血管内介入治疗的急性脑梗死患者预后不良的列线图模型。绘制校准曲线,采用Hosmer-Lemeshow拟合优度检验评价模型的校准度;绘制ROC曲线,评估模型的预测效能;采用一致性指数评估模型的区分度,采用Bootstrap法进行内部验证。结果167例患者预后不良发生率为60.48%。预后不良组年龄≥60岁、术后严重脑水肿、出血转化比率(73.27%、58.42%、49.50%),术后24 h NIHSS评分[(19.42±3.24)分]、FAR(0.09±0.02)及VEGF[(351.49±30.75)ng/L]、D-二聚体[(448.75±46.75)μg/L]水平均高于预后良好组[42.42%、18.18%、30.30%、(11.24±2.75)分、0.07±0.01、(256.54±21.38)ng/L、(226.74±15.76)μg/L](χ^(2)=15.973、24.439、6.045,t=16.909、7.527、21.859、37.190;P均<0.05)。年龄(OR=3.374,95%CI:1.620~5.127,P<0.001)、术后24 h NIHSS评分(OR=3.747,95%CI:1.456~6.038,P<0.001)、术后严重脑水肿(OR=4.963,95%CI:2.581~7.345,P<0.001)、FAR(OR=2.707,95%CI:1.100~4.315,P<0.001)、VEGF(OR=4.242,95%CI:2.276~6.028,P<0.001)、D-二聚体(OR=5.948,95%CI:3.383~8.512,P<0.001)是行血管内介入治疗的急性脑梗死患者预后不良的影响因素。列线图模型的校准曲线接近理想曲线,拟合良好(χ^(2)=3.526,P=0.752)。列线图模型预测行血管内介入治疗的急性脑梗死患者预后不良的AUC为0.827(95%CI:0.618~0.969,P<0.001),灵敏度为90.80%,特异度为78.50%。列线图模型的一致性指数为0.857(95%CI:0.785~0.952,P<0.001),区分度较好。结论行血管内介入治疗的急性脑梗死患者中年龄≥60岁、术后严重脑水肿及术后24 h NIHSS评分、FAR、VEGF、D-二聚体升高者预后不良的风险较大,基于上述影响因素构建的列线图模型预测患者预后不良有较高价值。

As a noble metal substitute,two-dimensional(2D)hierarchical nano-frame structures have attracted great interest as candidate catalysts due to their remarkable advantages-high intrinsic activity,high electron mobility,and straightforward surface ***,they may replace Pt-based catalysts in oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)***,a simple method is developed to design hierarchical nano-frame structures assembled via 2D NiO and N-doped graphene(ng)*** procedure can yield nanostructures that satisfy the criteria correlated with improved electrocatalytic performance,such as large surface area,numerous undercoordinated atoms,and high defect ***,porous ng nanosheet architectures,featuring NiO nanosheets densely coordinated with accessible holey Fe_(2)O_(3) moieties,can enhance mesoporosity and balance *** improvements can facilitate charge transport and expose formerly inaccessible reaction sites,maximizing active site density *** functional theory(DFt)calculations reveal favored O_(2) adsorption and dissociation on Fe_(2)O_(3) hybrid structures when supported by 2D NiO and ng nanomaterials,given 2D materials donated charge to Fe_(2)O_(3) active *** systematic studies reveal that synergistic contributions are responsible for enriching the catalytic activity of Fe_(2)O_(3)@NiO/ng in alkaline media-encompassing internal voids and pores,unique hierarchical support structures,and concentrated N-dopant and bimetallic atomic ***,this work expands the toolbox for designing and synthesizing highly efficient 2D/2D shelled functional nanomaterials with transition metals,endeavoring to benefit energy conversion and related ORR applications.

this paper uses a finite dominat.ng set （FDS） to investigate the multi-facility ordered median problem （OMP） in a strongly connected directed network. the authors first prove that the multi-facility OMP has an FDS in the node set, which not only generalizes the FDS result provided by Kalcsics, et al. （2002）, but also extends the FDS result from the single-facility Case to the multiple case, filling an important gap. then, based on this FDS result, the authors develop an exact algorithm to solve the problem. However, if the number of facilities is large, it is not practical to find the optimal solution, because the multi-facility OMP in directed networks is NP-hard. Hence, we present a constant-approximation algorithm for the p-median problem in directed networks. Finally, we pose an open problem for future research.
