Gaseous therapy based on nitric oxide(NO),as a potential anti-tumor treatment strategy,has attracted great attention,but the targeted and controlled gas release in the tumor site still remains a *** addressing these difficulties,a near-infrared(NIR)light-triggered NO release nanogenerator with a“linkage mechanism”was designed on the basis of sodium nitroprussidedoped mesoporous Prussian blue nanoparticles,in which the outer structure was modified with p H-sensitive gatekeeper chitosan and tumor-targeting agent folic ***“linkage mechanism”can achieve precise release of NO under the control of photothermal effect at tumor site,which can couple photothermal therapy and gas therapy to address the premature release of gas during ***,the amount of released gas can be controlled by adjusting the irradiation time and laser ***,as-fabricated nanocomposites hold high photothermal conversion efficiency under NIR laser irradiation,resulting in the on-demand release of NO and chemotherapy *** released NO can inhibit the expression of hypoxiainducible factorα(HIF-1α)and alleviate the hypoxic tumor microenvironment,thereby enhancing the efficacy of ***,in vitro and in vivo experiments exhibited remarkable antitumor efficiency,and the synergistic gas/chemo/photothermal therapy of deep tumors was *** findings indicate an effective strategy to stimulate further the development of deep tumor therapy,which may provide new insights into other NO-related medical applications.

Constant stress accelerated life tests(ALTs) can be applied to obtain a high estimation accuracy of reliability measure?ments, but these are time?consuming tests. Progressive stress ALTs can yield failures more quickly but cannot guaran tee the estimation accuracy of reliability measurements. In this paper, a progressive?constant combination stress ALT is proposed to combine the merits of both tests. The optimal plan, in which the design variables are the initial pro?gressive stress level, the progressive stress ramp rate, the sample allocation proportion of the progressive stress and the constant stress level, is determined using the principle of minimizing the asymptotic variance of the maximum likelihood estimator of the natural log reliable life for the connectors. A comparison between the optimal PCCSALT plan and the CSALT plan with the same sample size and estimation accuracy shows that the test time is reduced by 13.59% by applying the PCCSALT.

Epstein-Barr virus （EBV）, a potential oncogenic herpesvirus, has been found to be associated with several malignancies. It＇s critical to elicit cellular immunity of the body to fight against EBV-associated tumor development. Using dendritic cells （DCs） loaded with latent membrane protein 2A （LMP2A） to elicit T cell response against tumor may be one of the most direct and safest immunotherapy approaches. The present study aimed to develop DCs-based cancer vaccine （DC loaded with LMP2A protein） and study its biological characteristics and immune functions. Purified LMP2A protein was extracted from a cell line L929/LMP2A stably expressing LMP2A. LMP2A could be loaded on DCs with no significant changes of the DC surface markers and cytomorphology. The percentage of DCs loaded with LMP2A was above 80%. LMP2A-loaded DCs markedly enhanced the proliferation of antigen-specific CD8^＋ T and CD4^＋ T cells by 3H-TdR incorporation assay. Besides, the specific cytotoxicity of the CTLs against LMP2A target cells was also significantly increased. These results indicated that DC-based vaccine loaded with virus antigen could elicit potent CTL response and provide a foundation for further study on the DC-based immunotherapy for nasopharygeal carcinoma and other EBV associated tumors. BACKGROUND Systemic-onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis (SoJIA) is one of most serious subtypes of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Although the pathogenesis of SoJIA remains unclear, several studies have suggested a correlation between gut dysbiosis and JIA. Further understanding of the intestinal microbiome may help to establish alternative ways to treat, or even prevent, the disease. AIM To explore alterations in fecal microbiota profiles in SoJIA patients and to evaluate the correlations between microbiota and clinical parameters. METHODS We conducted an observational single-center study at the Pediatric Department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. Children who were diagnosed with SoJIA at our institution and followed for a minimum period of six months after diagnosis were recruited for the study. Healthy children were recruited as a control group (HS group) during the same period. Clinical data and stool samples were collected from SoJIA patients when they visited the hospital. RESULTS The SoJIA group included 17 active and 15 inactive consecutively recruited children;the control group consisted of 32 children. Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes were the two most abundant phyla among the total sample of SoJIA children and controls. There was a significant difference among the three groups in observed species, which was the highest in the Active-SoJIA group, followed by the Inactive-SoJIA group and then HS group (Active-SoJIA vs HS: P = 0.000;and Inactive-SoJIA vs HS: P = 0.005). We observed a lower Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio in SoJIA patients (3.28 ± 4.47 in Active-SoJIA, 5.36 ± 8.39 in Inactive-SoJIA,and 5.67 ± 3.92 in HS). We also observed decreased abundances of Ruminococcaceae (14.9% in Active-SoJIA, 17.3% in Inactive-SoJIA, and 22.8% in HS;Active-SoJIA vs HS: P = 0.005) and Faecalibacterium (5.1% in Active-SoJIA, 9.9% in Inactive-SoJIA, and 13.0% in HS;Active-SoJIA vs HS: P = 0.000) in SoJIA compared with HS. Estimation of the lateral stability region and torque distribution on steering is very important to improve stability in lateral handling for all wheel drive electric *** on the built-nonlinear vehicle dynamic model,the lateral stability region of the vehicle related to steering is estimated using Lyapunov *** obtained stable equilibrium points of non-straight driving according to the estimated lateral stability region and also reconstructed the Lyapunov function matrix,which proved that the closed-loop system composed of yaw rate and lateral velocity is satisfied with negative definite *** addition,the designed controller dynamically allocates the drive torque in terms of the vertical load and slip rate of the four *** simulation results show that the estimated lateral stability region and the designed controller are satisfactory in handling stability performance against different roads and vehicle parameters.

Background： Lupus nephritis （LN） is classified by renal biopsy into proliferative and nonproliferative forms, with distinct prognoses, but renal biopsy is not available for every LN patient. The present study aimed to establish an alternate tool by building a predictive model to evaluate the probability of proliferative LN. Methods： In this retrospective cohort with biopsy-proven LN, 382 patients in development cohort, 193 in internal validation cohort, and 164 newly diagnosed patients in external validation cohort were selected. Logistic regression model was established, and the concordance statistics （C-statistics）, Akaike information criterion （AIC）, integrated discrimination improvement, Hosmer-Lemeshow test, and net reclassification improvement were calculated to evaluate the performance and validation of models. Results： The prevalence of proliferative LN was 77.7% in the whole cohort. A model, including age, gender, systolic blood pressure, hemoglobin, proteinuria, hematuria, and serum C3, performed well on good-of-fit and discrimination in the development chohort to predict the risk of proliferative LN （291 for AIC and 0.84 for C-statistics）. In the internal and external validation cohorts, this model showed good capability for discrimination and calibration （0.84 and 0.82 for C-statistics, and 0.99 and 0.75 for P values, respectively）. Conclusion： This study developed and validated a model including demographic and clinical indices to evaluate the probability of presenting proliferative LN to guide therapeutic decisions and outcomes.

Deformation behavior and microstructural evolution during hot compression of an a+b Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si alloy

The effect of processing parameters on the flow response and microstructural evolution of the a＋b titanium alloy Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si has been studied by conducting isothermal hot compressive tests at a strain rate of 0.01-10 s-1 at 860-1100°C. The true stress-true strain curves of the sample hot-compressed in the a＋b phase region exhibit a peak stress followed by continuous flow softening, whereas in the b region, the flow stress attains a steady-state regime. At a strain rate of 10 s-1, the alloy exhibits plastic flow insta-bilities. According to the kinetic rate equation, the apparent activation energies are estimated to be about 674-705 kJ/mol in the a＋b region and 308-335 kJ/mol in the b region, respectively. When deformed in the a＋b region, the globularization process of the a colony structure occurs, and a dynamic recrystallized microstructures are observed to show bimodal. Dynamic recrystallization can take place in the b region irrespective of starting deformed structures.

A lab-scale sequencing batch reactor （SBR） was set-up and the aerobic granular sludge was successfully incubated using anaerobic granular sludge as seed sludge. Nitrogen was partially removed by simultaneous nitrification and denitrification （SND） via nitrite with free ammonia （FA） of about 10 mg/L. The denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis （DGGE） method was used to investigate community structure of α-Proteobacteria, β-Proteobacteria, ammonia oxidizing bacteria （AOB）, and Nitrospira populations during start-up. The population sizes of bacteria, AOB and Nitrospira were examined using real-time PCR method. The analysis of community structure and Shannon index showed that stable structure of AOB population was obtained at day 35, while the communities of α- Proteobacteria, β-Proteobacteria, and Nitrospira became stable after day 45. At stable stage, the average cell densities were 1.1× 10^12, 2.2×10^10 and 1.0×10^10 cells/L for bacteria, AOB and Nitrospira, respectively. The relationship between characteristics of nitrifying bacteria community and nitrogenous substrate utilization constant was discussed by calculating Pearson correlation. Certain correlation seemed to exist between population size, biodiversity, and degradation constant. And the influence of population size might be greater than that of biodiversity.
