The present study reports the use of the O_(3)/H_(2)O_(2) process in the pretreatment of the mother liquor of gas field wastewater(ML-GFW),obtained from the multi-effect distillation treatment of the gas field *** range of optimal operation conditions was obtained by single-factor *** surface methodology(RSM)based on the central composite design(CCD)was used for the optimization procedure.A regression model with Total organic carbon(TOC)removal efficiency as the response value was established(R^(2)=0.9865).The three key factors were arranged according to their significance as:pH>H_(2)O_(2) dosage>ozone flow *** model predicted that the best operation conditions could be obtained at a pH of 10.9,an ozone flow rate of 0.8 L/min,and H_(2)O_(2) dosage of 6.2 *** dosing ratio of ozone was calculated to be 9.84 mg O3/mg *** maximum removal efficiency predicted was 75.9%,while the measured value was 72.3%.The relative deviation was found to be in an acceptable *** ozone utilization and free radical quenching experiments showed that the addition of H_(2)O_(2) promoted the decomposition of ozone to produce hydroxyl radicals(·OH).This also improved the ozone utilization *** chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)analysis showed that most of the organic matters in ML-GFW were degraded,while some residuals needed further *** study provided the data and the necessary technical supports for further research on the treatment of ML-GFW.

The land subsidence due to groundwater exploitation has an obvious hysteretic nature with respect to the decrease of the under groundwater level, and the uneven settlement often causes ground fissures. To study these important features, a visco-elasticplastic constitutive relationship with consideration of the coupling of seepage and soil deformation is proposed, and a finite element model with variable coefficients based on the Biot＇s consolidation theory is built. With the groundwater exploitation and the land subsidence control in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province as an example, the variations of the under groundwater level and the deve- lopment of the land subsidence due to the groundwater exploitation are simulated and ground fissures are predicted by the horizontal displacement calculation. The results show that the lag time between the land subsidence and the under groundwater level descent is about a month, and the simulated results of fissures agree well with the observed data. The model can well reveal the characterization of the interaction between the land subsidence and the groundwater exploitation.

Noise is a significant part within a millimeter-wave molecular line *** the noise improves our understanding of noise characteristics,and further contributes to scientific *** measure the noise level of a single datacube from MWISP and perform statistical *** identified major factors which increase the noise level of a single datacube,including bad channels,edge effects,baseline distortion and line *** algorithms are applied to remove or reduce these noise *** a result,we obtained the cleaned datacube in which noise follows a positively skewed normal *** further analyzed the noise structure distribution of a 3 D mosaicked datacube in the range l=40°7 to 43°3 and b=-2°3 to 0°3 and found that noise in the final mosaicked datacube is mainly characterized by noise fluctuation among the cells.

Anomaly detection based on the data collected from the supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA)system is crucial to reduce the failure rate of wind turbines(WTs).The difficulty of this kind of methods is to dynamically identify the threshold for anomaly detection under changing operating *** this paper,a generalized WT anomaly detection method based on the combined probability estimation model(CPEM)is *** CPEM can estimate the conditional probability density function(PDF)of the target variable given changing *** generalization and accuracy are better than those of the independent probability estimation model because it combines the advantages of various kinds of probability estimation models through linear *** using the CPEM,the normal operating bounds under different operating conditions can be obtained,which dynamically form the thresholds for anomaly ***,with respect to the thresholds,hypothesis testing(HT)is adopted to identify the anomaly by inspecting whether the observations exceed the thresholds at a given significance level,providing sound mathematical support for anomaly detection and making the detection results more *** effectiveness of the proposed method is tested by using the actual data of WTs with known *** results illustrate that the proposed method can detect the abnormal operating state of the gearbox and generator much more early than the system fault alarm.

Demand response(DR)of commercial buildings by directly shutting down part of operating chillers could provide an immediate power reduction for power *** this special fast DR event,effective control needs to guarantee expected power reduction and ensure an acceptable indoor *** study,therefore,developed a data-driven model predictive control(MPC)using support vector regression(SVR)for fast DR *** to the characteristics of fast DR events,the optimized hyperparameters of SVR and shortened searching range of genetic algorithm are used to improve the control ***,a comprehensive comparison with RC-based MPC is conducted based on three scenarios of power demand *** results show that the proposed SVR-based MPC could fulfill the control objectives of power demand and indoor temperature *** with RC-based MPC,the SVR-based MPC could alleviate the time/labor cost of model development without sacrificing the control performance of fast DR events.

The predictions for Super Typhoon Lekima(2019)have been evaluated from official forecasts,global models,regional models and ensemble prediction systems(EPSs)at lead times of 1–5 *** errors from most deterministic forecasts are smaller than their annual mean errors in *** to the propagation speed,the propagation direction of Lekima(2019)was much easier to determine for the official agency and numerical weather prediction(NWP)*** National Centers for Environmental Prediction Global Ensemble Forecast System(NCEP-GEFS),Japan Meteorological Agency Global Ensemble Prediction System(JMA-GEPS)and Meteorological Service of Canada Ensemble System(MSC-CENS)are underdispersed,and the Shanghai Typhoon Institute Typhoon Ensemble Data Assimilation and Prediction System(STI-TEDAPS)is overdispersed,while the ensemble prediction system from European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF)shows adequate dispersion at all lead *** deterministic forecasting methods underestimated the intensity of Lekima(2019),especially for the rapid intensification period after Lekima(2019)entered the East China *** of the deterministic forecasts performed well at predicting the first landfall point at Wenling,Zhejiang Province with a lead time of 24 and 48 h.

Because of the complexity and difficulty of realizing a multi-wavelength soliton state,reports on its internal dynamic characteristics are *** this study,the switching and periodic soliton explosion processes of the multi-wavelength soliton state in a negative dispersion passively mode-locked fiber laser are *** generation of the multi-wavelength soliton state undergoes the process of noise,oscillation,and stable mode-locking,and the splitting and annihilation of solitons with different group velocities directly impact the generation and disappearance of three *** and negative dispersion lead to different group velocities of *** presence and displacement of solitons with different group velocities cause soliton collisions,which lead to soliton explosions.A soliton experiences relative phase oscillation,chaos,and oscillation,as well as convergence and separation before and after an *** an increase in parameters related to pump power,single-soliton oscillation,multi-wavelength solitons,and chaos are found in experiments and simulations,proving the relevance and reliability between simulation and experimental *** work promotes the dynamical study of multi-soliton collisions in nonlinear science and the development of chaos theory in multi-comb lasers.
