ZIF-8-functionalized polymer electrolyte with enhanced performance for high-temperature solid-state lithium metal batteries

Solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs)with high ionic conductivity are desirable for solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs)to achieve enhanced safety and energy *** nanofillers into a polymeric matrix to develop nanocomposite solid electrolytes(NCSEs)has become a promising method for improving the ionic conductivity of the ***,a novel ZIF-8-functionalized NCSE was prepared for high-temperature S SLMB s using an in situ radical polymerization *** is found that the ZIF-8 nanoparticles could reduce the crystallinity of polymer segments and offer a Lewis acid surface that promotes the dissociation of lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI)and stabilizes the TFSI^(-) anion ***,the as-prepared NCSE exhibits an outstanding ionic conductivity of 1.63×10^(-3)S·cm^(-1),an electrochem ical stability window of 5.0 V at 80℃,and excellent interface compatibility with lithium metal anode with a stable polarization over 2000 ***,the assembled SSLMBs with LiFePO_(4)cathode show dendrite-free Li-metal surface,good rate capability,and stable cycling stability with a capacity retention of 70%over 1000 cycles at a high temperature of 80℃.This work provides valuable insights into promoting the ionic conductivity of SPEs.

Effects of sleep status on renal function in patients with chronic kidney disease: a systematic review

Objective:To systematically evaluate the effects of sleep status on renal function in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).Methods: To search the relevant literature related to the effects of sleep status on renal function of CKD patients on PubMed database, EMBase database, the Cochrane Library database, CNKI database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, VIP and Wanfang database from the initial to June 2018, all literature that met the criteria were included. According to the type of studies, the quality of the literature was evaluated by NOS scale in the cohort study and AHRQ scale in the cross-sectional study, and systematically evaluated the outcome indicators, the main outcome indicators were estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and endogenous creatinine clearance rate (Ccr), while the secondary indicators were Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Sleep Quality (SQ), Serum Creatinine (Scr), Hemoglobin (Hb), Albumin (ALB) and Urine Protein/Creatinine Ratio (UPCR).Results: Four literature and one meeting abstract were included in this study, of which four were cohort studies, three of them the NOS quality evaluations were high, one of them was medium, the remaining one was cross-sectional study, and the AHRQ quality evaluation was medium. This study shows that sleep status has a certain correlation with renal function. Shorter sleep time or poor sleep quality can lead to deterioration of renal function. Among them, the research data of Sabbatinit research team in Italy showed that Ccr gradually decreased with the increased of the PSQI;studies of Cohen research team and the Ricardo research team in the United States showed that eGFR decreased with the increased of the PSQI;the study of Kumar research team in the United States showed that the lower SQ , the worse renal function;the study of Knutson' research team in British showed that the shorter sleep time, the lower eGFR. N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A), the most prevalent and conserved RNA modification in eukaryotic cells, profoundly influences virtually all aspects of mRNA metabolism. mRNA plays crucial roles in neural stem cell genesis and neural regeneration, where it is highly concentrated and actively involved in these processes. Changes in m^(6)A modification levels and the expression levels of related enzymatic proteins can lead to neurological dysfunction and contribute to the development of neurological diseases. Furthermore, the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells, as well as nerve regeneration, are intimately linked to memory function and neurodegenerative diseases. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the roles of m^(6)A in neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, as well as its implications in memory and neurodegenerative diseases. m^(6)A has demonstrated divergent effects on the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells. These observed contradictions may arise from the time-specific nature of m^(6)A and its differential impact on neural stem cells across various stages of development. Similarly, the diverse effects of m^(6)A on distinct types of memory could be attributed to the involvement of specific brain regions in memory formation and recall. Inconsistencies in m^(6)A levels across different models of neurodegenerative disease, particularly Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, suggest that these disparities are linked to variations in the affected brain regions. Notably, the opposing changes in m^(6)A levels observed in Parkinson's disease models exposed to manganese compared to normal Parkinson's disease models further underscore the complexity of m^(6)A's role in neurodegenerative processes. The roles of m^(6)A in neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, and its implications in memory and neurodegenerative diseases, appear contradictory. 目的 :探讨关节镜下治疗桡骨茎突狭窄性腱鞘炎的临床疗效。方法 :2009年8月至2013年7月收治桡骨茎突狭窄性腱鞘炎患者99例,分为3组:关节镜治疗组(32例,男6例,女26例),外科手术切开腱鞘组(34例,男7例,女27例)和封闭治疗组(33例,男6例,女27例)。观察并比较3组在治疗前、治疗后1周和治疗后1个月腕部及拇指静息状态下疼痛程度、活动状态下疼痛程度、局部压痛程度、局部肿胀情况、腕部及拇指活动情况及总体症状评分方面的差异。同时计算3组在不同时间点的总有效率。结果:随访1周和1个月后,关节镜治疗组和外科手术切开腱鞘组活动疼痛评分低于封闭治疗组(P=0.044和0.039)。1个月后关节镜治疗组和外科手术切开腱鞘组局部压痛评分低于封闭治疗组(P=0.017)。随访1周和1个月后关节镜治疗组和外科手术切开腱鞘组总体症状评分均低于封闭治疗组(P=0.007和0.015)。治疗后随访1周关节镜治疗组、外科手术切开腱鞘组和封闭治疗组总有效率比较,差异无统计学意义(P=0.213),但随访1个月后总有效率差异有统计学意义(P=0.006)。结论:相比传统手术切开腱鞘治疗和封闭治疗,关节镜下治疗桡骨茎突狭窄性腱鞘炎疗效满意,手术创伤小,安全性高,并发症少,在狭窄性腱鞘炎治疗中有一定的优越性。

New method for high performance multiply-accumulator design

This study presents a new method of 4-pipelined high-performance split multiply-accumulator (MAC) architecture, which is capable of supporting multiple precisions developed for media processors. To speed up the design further, a novel partial product compression circuit based on interleaved adders and a modified hybrid partial product reduction tree (PPRT) scheme are proposed. The MAC can perform 1-way 32-bit, 4-way 16-bit signed/unsigned multiply or multiply-accumulate operations and 2-way parallel multiply add (PMADD) operations at a high frequency of 1.25 GHz under worst-case conditions and 1.67 GHz under typical-case conditions, respectively. Compared with the MAC in 32-bit microprocessor without interlocked piped stages (MIPS), the proposed design shows a great advantage in speed. Moreover, an improvement of up to 32% in throughput is achieved. The MAC design has been fabricated with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) 90-nm CMOS standard cell technology and has passed a functional test.

Subretinal fibrosis is the end-stage sequelae of neovascular age-related macular *** causes local damage to photoreceptors,retinal pigment epithelium,and choroidal vessels,which leads to permanent central vision loss of patients with neovascular age-related macular *** pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis is complex,and the underlying mechanisms are largely ***,there are no effective treatment options.A thorough understanding of the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis and its related mechanisms is important to elucidate its complications and explore potential *** current article reviews several aspects of subretinal fibrosis,including the current understanding on the relationship between neovascular age-related macular degeneration and subretinal fibrosis;multimodal imaging techniques for subretinal fibrosis;animal models for studying subretinal fibrosis;cellular and non-cellular constituents of subretinal fibrosis;pathophysiological mechanisms involved in subretinal fibrosis,such as aging,infiltration of macrophages,different sources of mesenchymal transition to myofibroblast,and activation of complement system and immune cells;and several key molecules and signaling pathways participating in the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis,such as vascular endothelial growth factor,connective tissue growth factor,fibroblast growth factor 2,platelet-derived growth factor and platelet-derived growth factor receptor-β,transforming growth factor-βsignaling pathway,Wnt signaling pathway,and the axis of heat shock protein 70-Toll-like receptors 2/*** review will improve the understanding of the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis,allow the discovery of molecular targets,and explore potential treatments for the management of subretinal fibrosis.

CaH2-promoted activity of Ni-carbonate interface for CO2 methanation

Transition metal-carbonate interfaces often act as active sites in heterogeneous catalytic *** interface between transition metal and metal carbonate exhibits a dynamic equilibrium during the CO2hydrogenation reaction,involving surface carbonate hydrogenation and ***,there have been few reports on engineering the activity of the interface between transition metal and alkaline earth metal carbonate for catalytic *** work demonstrated that the incorporation of CaH2in Ni/CaCO3enhances the CO2methanation activity of the *** CO2conversion for Ni/CaH2-CaCO3reached 68.5%at 400°C,which was much higher than that of the Ni/CaCO3（31.6%） and Ni/CaH2-CaO （42.4%） ***,the Ni/CaH2-CaCO3catalysts remained stable during the stability test for 24 h at 400°C and 8 *** research revealed that CaH2played a crucial role in promoting the activity of the Ni-carbonate interface for ***2could modify the electronic structure of Ni and tune the structural properties of CaCO3to generate medium basic sites （OH groups）,which are favorable for the activation of H2and ***-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR） analysis combined with density functional theory calculations demonstrated that CO2activation occurs at the hydroxyl group （OH） on the CaH2-modified Ni-carbonate surface,leading to the formation of CO3H****,our study has confirmed that CO2methanation over the Ni/CaH2-CaCO3catalysts proceeds via the formate pathway.
