Currently,the development of dielectric ceramic capacitors is restricted by the contradiction between high efficiency and high recoverable ***,a novel strategy was designed to achieve a su-perior balance between ***,introducing Sr_(0.85)La_(0.1)TiO_(3)can enhance the content of the weak polar phase(P4bm)to become the main component,which can optimize the relaxor behaviour and improve ***,the electric breakdown strength was effectively enhanced by grain refinement and viscous polymer ***,a high recoverable energy density of~5.3 J/cm^(3)and an excellent efficiency of~92.2%were attained in 0.9Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)-0.1Na_(0.8)Sr_(0.1)NbO_(3)ceramic with the addition of 0.35Sr_(0.85)La_(0.1)TiO_(3)after viscous polymer *** piezoelectric force microscope had been applied to prove the high activity of the polar nanoregions and finite element analysis was adopted to explain the reasons for the enhancing electric breakdown *** addition,this ceramic exhibits good tem-perature and frequency stability,and a fast discharging rate of 0.11 ms,making it a potential candidate for the actual application.

Deep sowing is a traditional method for drought resistance in maize production,and mesocotyl elongation is strongly associated with the ability of maize to germinate from deep ***,little is known about the functional genes and mechanisms regulating maize mesocotyl *** the present study,we identified a plant-specific SIMILAR TO RCD-ONE(SRO) protein family member,ZmSRO1e,involved in maize mesocotyl *** expression of ZmSRO1e is strongly inhibited upon transfer from dark to white *** loss-of-function zmsro1e mutant exhibited a dramatically shorter mesocotyl than the wild-type in both constant light and darkness,while overexpression of ZmSRO1e significantly promoted mesocotyl elongation,indicating that ZmSRO1e positively regulates mesocotyl *** showed that ZmSRO1e physically interacted with Zmb ZIP61,an ortholog of Arabidopsis ELONGATED HYPOCOTYL 5(HY5) and showed a function similar to that of HY5 in regulating *** found that ZmSRO1e repressed the transcriptional activity of Zmb ZIP61 toward target genes involved in the regulation of cell expansion,such as ZmEXPB4 and ZmEXPB6,by interfering with the binding of ZmbZIP61 to the promoters of target *** results provide a new understanding of the mechanism by which SRO regulates photomorphogenesis and highlight its potential application in deep sowing-resistant breeding.

Evaluating the effects of temperature variations on animals plays an important role in understanding the threat of climate *** effects of developmental temperature on offspring performance are critical in evaluating the effects of warming temperatures on the fitness of ovipa-rous species,but the physiological and biochemical basis of this developmental plasticity is largely *** this study,we incubated eggs of the turtle Pelodiscus sinensis at low(24℃),medium(28℃),and high(32℃)temperatures,and evaluated the effects of developmental temperature on offspring fitness,and metabolic enzymes in the neck and limb muscles of *** hatchlings from eggs incubated at the medium temperature showed better fitness-related performance(righting response and swimming capacity)and higher activities of metabolic enzymes(hexokinase,HK;lactate dehydrogenase,LDH)than hatchlings from the eggs incubated at high or low *** addition,the swimming speed and righting response were significantly correlated with the HK activities in limb(swimming speed)and neck(righting response)muscles,suggesting that the developmental plasticity of energy metabolic pathway might play a role in determining the way incubation temperature affects offspring *** the fitness-related performance and the activities of metabolic enzymes,we predict that the P sinensis from high latitude would not face the detrimental effects of climate warming until the average nest temperatures reach 32℃.

Whispering gallery mode(WGM)optical microcavities,which are capable of light field confinement and manipulation in a relatively small volume,have gained considerable attention from fundamentals in enhanced light-matter interactions to laser applications[1].Undergoing decades of development,the improvement of lasing performance is always a significant issue,including low threshold and high quality(Q)factor[2].Increasing optical gain and reducing the losses are the key aspects towards the realization of a high-quality WGM laser.A perfect cavity structure and a smooth surface are the most crucial determinants to reduce optical losses and enhance light field confined abilities.

Root exudates serve as crucial mediators for information exchange between plants and soil,and are an important evolutionary mechanism for plants’adaptation to environmental *** this study,15 different abiotic stress models were established using various stress factors,including drought(D),high temperature(T),nitrogen deficiency(N),phosphorus deficiency(P),and their *** investigated their effects on the seedling growth of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge and the activities of Solid-Urease(S-UE),Solid-Nitrite Reductase(S-NiR),Solid-Nitrate Reductase(S-NR),Solid-Phosphotransferase(S-PT),and Solid-Catalase(S-CAT),as well as the contents of polysaccharides in the culture *** results showed that the growth of *** was inhibited under 15 stress *** them,13 stress conditions increased the root-shoot *** 15 stress conditions significantly reduced the activity of S-NR,two combinations significantly improved the activity of S-NIR,they were synergistic stresses of high temperature and nitrogen deficiency(TN),and synergistic stresses of drought and nitrogen deficiency(DN)(p<0.05).The activity of S-UE was significantly improved under N,D,T,synergistic stresses of drought and high temperature(DT),DN,synergistic stresses of drought and phosphorus deficiency(DP),and synergistic stresses of high temperature,nitrogen,and phosphorus deficiency(TNP)stress conditions(p<0.05).Most stress combinations reduced the activity of S-PT,but D and T significantly improved it.(p<0.05).The N,DN,and TN stress conditions significantly reduced S-CAT *** P,DT,and synergistic stresses of drought,high temperature,and phosphorus deficiency(DTP)significantly decreased the total polysaccharide content of the soil(p<0.05).The research suggested that abiotic stress hindered the growth of *** and altered the behavior of root *** regulated the secretion of several substances in response to various abiotic stresses,including soil ni

Owing to its high sensitivity,selectivity,and accuracy,liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry(LC-MS)is commonly employed to screen,confirm,and quantify impurities in drugs[1].However,LC-MS has certain drawbacks such as complicated pretreatment steps,long analysis time,large consumption of organic solvents,high maintenance costs,and,most notably,the need for high-pressure pumps and compatible hardware because of the high column backpressure[2].In this study,a two-dimensional(2D)microscale carbon fiber(CF)/active carbon fiber(ACF)system combined with a quadrupole time-of-flight high-resolution mass spectrometry(2DmCFs-QTOF-HRMS)system was developed to rapid screening impurities in the typical three generations of oral cephalosporins,i.e.,cephalexin tablets(CPXTs),cefuroxime axetil tablets(CFATs),and cefixime tablets(CFXTs)(Fig.S1).The“fuzzy chromatographic separation”sample pretreatment method separates complex samples into high-,medium-,and weak-polar fractions for successive detection of MS,achieving effective reduction of the ion suppression effect in electrospray ionization(ESI)-MS and improving the MS detection *** to high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)-MS,this method has distinct advantages such as less organic solvent consumption(1.5 mL),shorter separation and analysis times(5 min),more information on impurities,and high reproducibility.

This paper presents an efficient scheme for single-pixel imaging(SPI)utilizing a phase-controlled fiber laser array and an untrained deep neural *** fiber lasers are arranged in a compact hexagonal structure and coherently combined to generate illuminating light *** the utilization of high-speed electro-optic modulators in each individual fiber laser module,the randomly modulated fiber laser array enables rapid speckle projection onto the object of ***,the untrained deep neural network is incorporated into the image reconstructing process to enhance the quality of the reconstructed *** simulations and experiments,we validate the feasibility of the proposed method and successfully achieve high-quality SPI utilizing the coherent fiber laser array at a sampling ratio of 1.6%.Given its potential for high emitting power and rapid modulation,the SPI scheme based on the fiber laser array holds promise for broad applications in remote sensing and other applicable fields.

Increasing the electrode thickness is a significant method to decrease the weight and volume ratio of the inactive components for high energy density of the *** this contribution,we extracted a repeating unit in the configurations and establish the empirical energy density model based on some *** this model,the effects of the electrode thickness on the energy density for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),lithium metal batteries(LMBs),and anode-free lithium batteries(ALBs)are evaluated quantitively with the current parameters of the *** results demonstrate that the structure evolutions from LIBs,LMBs to ALBs with the reduction of the anode weight contribution,the energy density can be well improved *** the increase of the thickness of the electrode provide another route to furthe r enhance the energydensity by decreasing the weight contribution of inactive materials;meanwhile the effects for ALBs are higher than LMBs and LIBs due to the higher weight ratio of inactive *** empirical energy density model is also applied into the practical system and provide intuitional results to guide the battery design for higher energy density.
