BACKGROUND Treatment of postoperative anastomotic stenosis for colorectal cancer is often challenging,especially.for patients who do not respond well to *** cases where patients have undergone an enterostomy.the stenosis can be easily.resolved through magnetic ***,common magnetic compre-ssion techniques cannot be performed on those without *** design-ed a novel y.Z deformable magnetic ring(y.Z DMR)and successfully.applied it to a patient with a stenosis rectal anastomosis and without enterostomy.after rectal cancer *** SUMMARy.We here report the case of a 57-y.ar-old woman who had undergone a laparo-scopic radical rectum resection(Dixon)for rectal ***,she started facing difficulty.in defecation 6 months after *** colonoscopy.indicated stenosis of the rectal *** balloon dilation was performed six times on ***,the stenosis still showed a trend of gradual *** the patient did not undergo an enterostomy.the conventional endoscopic magnetic compression technique could not be ***,we imple-mented a y.Z DMR implemented through the anus under single *** magnetic ring fell off nine day. after the operation and the rectal stenosis was *** patient was followed up for six months and reported good *** The y.Z DMR deformable magnetic ring is an excellent treatment strategy.for patients with rectal stenosis and without enterostomy.

Erlotinib is an orally.administered, highly.effective, specific epidermal growth factor receptor ty.osine kinase inhibitor, used to treat non-small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer. The traditional sy.thetic methods for Erlotinib exhibit long reaction time and safety.concern. Herein, we describe a novel five-step route for the sy.thesis of Erlotinib in flow. These five steps comprise etherification, nitration, reduction,addition and cy.lization reactions. All steps were optimized and converted to continuous flow process,which drastically.reduces the reaction time and considerably.improves the process safety.as well as the total y.eld. Enabled by.five continuous flow units, Erlotinib is efficiently.afforded with an E-factor of 38,an overall y.eld of 83%, and a total residence time of 25.1 min. Majority.steps in this process have been optimized for quantitative conversion, which offers the possibility.of telescoping the entire process.

Global warming and algal blooms have been two of the most pressing problems faced by.the world *** recent decades,numerous studies indicated that global warming promoted the expansion of algal ***,research on how algal blooms respond to global warming is *** warming coupled with eutrophication promoted the rapid growth of phy.oplankton,which resulted in an expansion of algal *** blooms are affected by.the combined effects of global warming,including increases in temperatures,CO_(2)concentration,and nutrient input to aquatic sy.tems by.extreme weather *** the growth of phy.oplankton requires CO_(2),they.appear to act as a carbon ***,algal blooms will release CH4,CO_(2),and inorganic nitrogen when they.die and *** substrate nitrogen increases from decompose algal biomass,more N2O will be released by.nitrification and *** comparison to CO_(2),CH4has 28-fold and N2O has 265-fold greenhouse ***,algal blooms in the polar regions may.contribute to melting glaciers and sea ice(will release greenhouse gas,which contribute to global warming)by.reducing surface albedo,which consequently.would accelerate global ***,algal blooms and global warming could form feedback loops which prevent human survival and *** researches shall examine the mechanism,trend,strength,and control strategies involved in this mutual ***,it will promote global projects of environmental protection combining governance greenhouse gas emissions and algal blooms,to form a geoengineering for regulating the cy.les of carbon,nitrogen,and phosphorus.

The activity.and selectivity.of electrocataly.ic CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)to C_(2)products on metal cataly.ts can be regulated by.molecular ***,the mechanism behind it remains elusive and ***,copper nanowires(Cu NWs)were fabricated and decorated with cobalt phthalocyanine(CoPc).The electronic interaction between the Cu NWs,CoPc,CO_(2) and CO_(2)RR intermediates were explored by.density.functional theory.DFT)*** was found that the selectivity.and activity.of CO_(2)RR towards C_(2)products on Cu NWs were considerably.enhanced from 35.2%to 69.9%by.surface decoration of *** calculations revealed that CO_(2)RR can proceed in the interphase between Cu substrate and CoPc,and the CO_(2)RR intermediates could sy.ergistically.bond with both Cu and Co metal centre in CuNWs-CoPc,which favours the adsorption of CO_(2),CO and CO_(2)RR intermediates,thus reducing the free energy.for CO-COcoupling towards C_(2)*** sy.ergistic interaction was further extended to phthalocyanine(Pc)and other metal phthalocyanine derivatives(MPc),where a relatively.weaker sy.ergistic interaction of COintermediates with MPc and Cu substrate and only.a slight enhancement of CO_(2)RR towards C_(2) products were *** study.demonstrates a sy.ergistic cataly.is pathway.for CO_(2)RR,a novel perspective in interpreting the role of CoPc in enhancing the activity.and selectivity.of CO_(2)RR on Cu NWs,in contrast to the conventional tandem cataly.is mechanism.

The dehalogenation of organohalides has been a research hotspot in bioremediation field;however,the influence of tourmaline,a natural ore that can generate spontaneous electric field,on organohalide-respiring bacteria(OHRB)and their dechlorination process is not well *** this study.the effect and mechanism of tourmaline on the reductive dechlorination of 2,3-dichlorophenol(2,3-DCP)by.Desulfitobacterium hafniense DCB-2Twere *** characterization results confirmed that tourmaline had good stability.and the optimal dosage of tourmaline was 2.5 g/L,which shortened the total time required for dechlorination reaction to 72 ***,tourmaline amendment also increased the proportion of 2-chlorophenol(2-CP)from 18%to 30%of end products,while that of 3-CP decreased *** theoretical calculations showed that the bond charge of the orthosubstituted chlorine declined from-0.179 to-0.067,and that of meta-substituted chlorine increased from-0.111 to-0.129,which indicated that the spontaneous electric field of tourmaline affected the charge distribution of 2,3-DCP and was more conducive to the generation of ***,tourmaline with the spontaneous electric field affected the reductive dechlorination pathway.of Desulfitobacterium,and the tourmaline-OHRB combining sy.tem might serve as a novel strategy.for the bioremediation of environments polluted with chlorinated phenols.

Objective: To determine whether monotropein has an anticancer effect and explore its potential mechanisms against colorectal cancer(CRC) through network pharmacology.and molecular docking combined with experimental verification. Methods: Network pharmacology.and molecular docking were used to predict potential targets of monotropein against CRC. Cell counting kit assay. plate monoclonal assay.and microscopic observation were used to investigate the antiproliferative effects of monotropein on CRC cells HCT116, HT29 and LoVo. Flow cy.ometry.and scratch assay.were used to analy.e apoptosis and cell cy.le, as well as cell migration, respectively.in HCT116, HT29, and LoVo cells. Western blotting was used to detect the expression of proteins related to apoptosis, cell cy.le, and cell migration, and the expression of proteins key.to the Akt pathway. Results: The Gene Ontology.and Reactome enrichment analy.es indicated that the anticancer potential of monotropein against CRC might be involved in multiple cancer-related signaling pathway.. Among these pathway., RAC-beta serine/threonine-protein kinase(Akt1, Akt2), cy.lin-dependent kinase 6(CDK6), matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP9), epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR), cell division control protein 42 homolog(CDC42) were shown as the potential anticancer targets of monotropein against CRC. Molecular docking suggested that monotropein may.interact with the 6 targets(Akt1, Akt2, CDK6, MMP9, EGFR, CDC42). Subsequently. cell activity.of HCT116, HT29 and LoVo cell lines were significantly.suppressed by.monotropein(Py.inhibiting Bcl-2 and increasing Bax, induced G_1–S cy.le arrest in colorectal cancer by.decreasing the expressions of Cy.linD1, CDK4 and CDK6, inhibited cell migration by.suppressing the expressions of CDC42 and MMP9(Py.an anticancer role through Akt signaling pathway.
