Melatonin improves the first cleavage of parthenogenetic embryos from vitrified-warmed mouse oocytes potentially by promoting cell cycle progression

The damage regulated autophagy and apoptosis modulator 1（DRAM1） plays a role in TP53-mediated autophagy and apoptosis. However, the mechanisms by which DRAM1 regulates autophagy and apoptosis have not been fully understood. In our recent studies, we found that DRAM1 can be upregulated through both TP53-dependent and independent mechanisms and its upregulation played a role in autophagy. DRAM1 activated autophagy initiation process via Akt-p70 S6 K-S6 pathway. DRAM1 enhanced autophagy degradation process via activation of lysosomes. Therefore, DRAM1 can increase autophagy flux. DRAM1 also regulated apoptosis through lysosomal cathepsin B and BID. These studies suggest that DRAM1 plays important roles in autophagy activity and cell survival.

Background:This study investigated the effect of melatonin(MT)on cell cycle(G1/S/G2/M)of parthenogenetic zygotes developed from vitrified-warmed mouse metaphase II(MII)oocytes and elucidated the potential mechanism of MT action in the first cleavage of ***:After vitrification and warming,oocytes were parthenogenetically activated(PA)and in vitro cultured(IVC).Then the spindle morphology and chromosome segregation in oocytes,the maternal mRNA levels of genes including Miss,Doc1r,Setd2 and Ythdf2 in activated oocytes,pronuclear formation,the S phase duration in zygotes,mitochondrial function at G1 phase,reactive oxygen species(ROS)level at S phase,DNA damage at G2 phase,early apoptosis in 2-cell embryos,cleavage and blastocyst formation rates were *** results indicated that the vitrification/warming procedures led to following perturbations 1)spindle abnormalities and chromosome misalignment,alteration of maternal mRNAs and delay in pronucleus formation,2)decreased mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP)and lower adenosine triphosphate(ATP)levels,increased ROS production and DNA damage,G1/S and S/G2 phase transition delay,and delayed first cleavage,and 3)increased early apoptosis and lower levels of cleavage and blastocyst *** results further revealed that such negative impacts of oocyte cryopreservation could be alleviated by supplementation of warming,recovery,PA and IVC media with 10^(−9) mol/L MT before the embryos moved into the 2-cell stage of ***:MT might promote cell cycle progression via regulation of MMP,ATP,ROS and maternal mRNA levels,potentially increasing the first cleavage of parthenogenetic zygotes developed from vitrified-warmed mouse oocytes and their subsequent development.

AIM: To analyze the factors which influence the serum levels of hyaluronic acid (HA), type Ⅲ pro-collagen (PCIII), laminin (LN) and type Ⅳ collagen (C-Ⅳ) in liver ***: The serum specimens from 141 chronic hepatitis patients were assayed for fibrosis indexes including HA, PCIIT,LN and C-Ⅳ with radioimmunoassay (RIA) and liver function indexes by an automatic biochemistry analyzer. The patients were then divided into consistent group and inconsistent group. The patients'clinical manifestations were recorded,routine blood pictures were done by a blood counter and analyzer (AC-900). Liver biopsy specimens were examined path-morphologically. The inner diameters of portal vein,splenic vein and thickness of spleen were all measured by ***: Sixteen patients (14.16 %) had serum fibrosis indexes inconsistent with histological stage of their hepatic fibrosis. Their serum fibrosis indexes did not correlate with the stage of hepatic fibrosis (P>0.05), but were positively correlated with the grade of inflammation (X2=12.07, P0.05).CONCLUSION: Serum fibrosis indexes can be influenced by the grade of inflammation, some liver function indexes and clinical manifestations. Comprehensive analysis is necessary for its proper interpretation.

DEAR EDITOR,A new species of Sinomicrurus Slowinski,Boundy,and Lawson,2001 is described herein based on a series of *** new species,Sinomicrurus peinani ***.,occurs in southern China and northern *** peinani *** distinguished from its congeners by the following combination of characters:(1)30-35 black crossbands on body and tail;(2)13 dorsal scale rows throughout,all smooth;(3)white belly with black cross-bands or irregular spots;(4)broad white transverse bar on top of head with inverted V-shaped anterior margin,white bar wider than anterior black bar;and(5)frontal V-like,1.3 times as long as *** addition,new occurrences of *** in Guangxi,China,and Vietnam are discussed.

棉织物的纳米银多功能整理

以植物还原剂--金银花提取物和化学还原剂--丙三醇,分别还原硝酸银,制备了两种纳米银溶液。采用浸渍法将上述制备的纳米银溶液分别对棉织物进行功能整理。利用SEM、EDS、XRD、FTIR分析整理前后棉织物的外观形貌及结构,并探讨了整理后的棉织物的抗紫外性能、不同洗涤次数后其含银量、色差和抗菌性能的变化。结果表明,纳米银粒子主要通过范德华力吸附在棉织物纤维素的无定形区;与化学还原法相比,植物还原法制备的纳米银粒径减小了约15nm,植物还原法制备的纳米银溶液整理后的棉织物经过50次洗涤后,棉织物表面的纳米银吸附量及色差变化不大,且对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的抑菌率仍旧达到99%以上,具有优异的抗菌性及良好的耐洗涤性能。另外,植物还原法制备的纳米银溶液整理后的棉织物紫外线防护系数(UPF)值达到了36.82,具有较好的抗紫外性能。

In the numerical prediction of weather or climate events,the uncertainty of the initial values and/or prediction models can bring the forecast result’s *** to the absence of true states,studies on this problem mainly focus on the three subproblems of predictability,i.e.,the lower bound of the maximum predictable time,the upper bound of the prediction error,and the lower bound of the maximum allowable initial *** at the problem of the lower bound estimation of the maximum allowable initial error,this study first illustrates the shortcoming of the existing estimation,and then presents a new estimation based on the initial observation precision and proves it ***,the new lower bound estimations of both the two-dimensional ikeda model and lorenz96 model are obtained by using the cnop(conditional nonlinear optimal perturbation)method and a pso(particle swarm optimization)algorithm,and the estimated precisions are also ***,the estimations yielded by the existing and new formulas are compared;the results show that the estimations produced by the existing formula are often incorrect.

A mathematical model was developed to predict the maximum heat transfer capacity of high temperature heat pipe with triangular grooved wick. The effects of the inclination angle and geometry structure were considered in the proposed *** heat transfer capacity was also investigated experimentally. The model was validated by comparing with the experimental results. The maximum heat transfer capacity increases with the vapor core radius increasing. Compared with the inclination angle of0°, the maximum heat transfer capacity increases at the larger inclination angle, and the change with temperature is larger. The performance of heat pipe with triangular grooved wick is greatly influenced by gravity, so it is not recommended to be applied to the dish solar heat pipe receiver.
