l_(1)-Smooth SVM with Distributed Adaptive Proximal Stochastic Gradient Descent with Momentum for Fast Brain Tumor Detection

Brain tumors come in various types,each with distinct characteristics and treatment approaches,making manual detection a time-consuming and potentially ambiguous *** tumor detection is a valuable tool for gaining a deeper understanding of tumors and improving treatment *** learning models have become key players in automating brain tumor *** descent methods are the mainstream algorithms for solving machine learning *** this paper,we propose a novel distributed proximal stochastic gradient descent approach to solve the l_(1)-Smooth Support Vector Machine(SVM)classifier for brain tumor ***,the smooth hinge loss is introduced to be used as the loss function of *** avoids the issue of nondifferentiability at the zero point encountered by the traditional hinge loss function during gradient descent ***,the l_(1) regularization method is employed to sparsify features and enhance the robustness of the ***,adaptive proximal stochastic gradient descent(PGD)with momentum,and distributed adaptive PGDwithmomentum(DPGD)are proposed and applied to the l_(1)-Smooth *** computing is crucial in large-scale data analysis,with its value manifested in extending algorithms to distributed clusters,thus enabling more efficient processing ofmassive amounts of *** DPGD algorithm leverages Spark,enabling full.utilization of the computer’s multi-core *** to its sparsity induced by l_(1) regularization on parameters,it exhibits significantly accelerated convergence *** the perspective of loss reduction,DPGD converges faster than *** experimental results show that adaptive PGD withmomentumand its variants have achieved cutting-edge accuracy and efficiency in brain tumor ***-trained models,both the PGD andDPGD outperform other models,boasting an accuracy of 95.21%.

We report on the magnetohydrodynamic impact on the axisymmetric flow of Al_(2)O_(3)/Cu nanoparticles suspended in H_(2)O past a stretched/shrinked *** the use of partial differential equations and the corresponding thermophysical characteristics of nanoparticles,the physical flow process is *** resultant nonlinear system of partial differential equations is converted into a system of ordinary differential equations using the suitable similarity *** transformed differential equations are solved *** of the magnetic parameter,solid volume fraction and stretching/shrinking parameter on momentum and temperature distribution have been analyzed and interpreted *** skin friction and Nusselt number were also *** addition,existence of dual solution was deduced for the shrinking sheet and unique solution for the stretching ***,Al_(2)O_(3)/H_(2)O nanofluid flow has better thermal conductivity on comparing with Cu/H_(2)O ***,it was found that the first solutions of the stream are stable and physically realizable,whereas those of the second ones are unstable.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of Ganoderma lucidum Spore Oil(GlSO)on the tumor growth and survival of H22 tumor-bearing mice treated with cyclophosphamide(CTX),and explore the underlying ***:Allograft H22 hepatocel.ular carcinoma mouse model was applied to investigate the effect of GlSO on the tumor growth and survival of animals,and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to analyze the life *** biochemical examination was used to determine the levels of alanine aminotransferase(AlT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),urea(uREA)and creatinine(CRE).Western blot analysis was performed to detect Programmed Death-1(PD-1),Programmed Death ligand 1(PD-l1),Janus Kinase 2(JAK2),phosphorylated Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3(p-STAT3),and Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3(STAT3)***:GlSO increased the anti-tumor effect of CTX and prolonged the survival of H22 tumor-bearing mice treated with ***,GlSO increased the thymus index and showed no obvious toxicity to liver functions of *** also decreased the level of uREA in H22 tumor-bearing mice treated with ***,GlSO could inhibit the expression of PD-1 in spleen,which was independent of JAK2 expression and STAT3 ***,GlSO did not affect the expression of PD-l1,JAK2,and p-STAT3 in tumor ***:GlSO could strengthen the anti-tumor effect of CTX and prolong the life span of H22 tumorbearing mice,while the underlying mechanism might be relevant to the amelioration effect of thymus function and inhibition of PD-1 expression in ***,these findings implied the promising role of GlSO in combination with CTX to extend the survival of patients in clinical chemotherapy of hepatocel.ular carcinoma.

Gradient microstructure and superior strength-ductility synergy of AZ61 magnesium alloy bars processed by radial forging with different deformation temperatures

Gradient microstructure modification is a cost-efficient strategy for high strength without compromising ductility,which is urgently needed in the fundamental science of engineering *** this study,heterogeneous structures of AZ61 alloy bars with anisotropic gradients(with different grain size distributions from the surface to the center)were observed to exhibit strong strength-ductility synergies under different deformation tem *** results reveal that the grain refinement process under mediumlow temperature deformation conditions(≤350℃)consists of four transition stages along the radial direction,i.e.,twin activations and deformation band formations,dislocation cells and pile-ups,ultrafine sub-grains,and randomly orientated quasi-micron *** deformation temperatures have a great influence on twin activations and deformation band formations,and the high temperature can easily provoke the initiation of non-basal *** deformation bands were determined as a primary nucleation site due to their highly unstable dislocation hindrance *** in combination with the Radial forging(RF)deformation process,the differences of dynamic precipitates can be attributed to microstructural difference and solubility limit of Al at different tem *** summarizing the tensile test results,the sample forged at 350℃exhibited the best strength-ductility synergy,exhibiting the highest elongation(El)of 23.2%with a 251 MPa yield strength(YS)and 394 MPa ultimate tensile strength(uTS)in center region,and combined with the highest strength value of 256 MPa YS and 420 MPa uTS in the center region,while the El was slightly degraded to 19.8%.

Research on the MPPT of Photovoltaic Power Generation Based on Improved WOA and P&O under Partial Shading Conditions

Partial shading conditions(PSCs)caused by uneven il.umination become one of the most common problems in photovoltaic(PV)systems,which can make the PV power-voltage(P-V)characteristics curve show *** maximum power point tracking(MPPT)methods have shortcomings in tracking to the global maximum power point(GMPP),resulting in a dramatic decrease in output *** order to solve the above problems,intelligent algorithms are used in ***,the existing intelligent algorithms have some disadvantages,such as slow convergence speed and large search ***,an improved whale algorithm(IWOA)combined with the P&O(IWOA-P&O)is proposed for the MPPT of PV power generation in this ***,IWOA is used to track the range interval of the GMPP,and then P&O is used to accurately find the MPP in that *** with other algorithms,simulation results show that this method has an average tracking efficiency of 99.79%and an average tracking time of 0.16 s when tracking ***,experimental verification is conducted,and the results show that the proposed algorithm has better MPPT performance compared to popular particle swarm optimization(PSO)and PSO-P&O algorithms.

Critical environmental factors affecting mountain geohazards in a warming climate in Southwest China

Environmental factors are essential input variables for susceptibility assessment models of mountain ***,the existing literature provides a limited understanding of the relative contribution of these factors to the occurrence of geohazards with a warming climate,posing tremendous challenges for risk management in mountainous ***'an city is susceptible to hazards because of its steep terrain,abundant precipitation and active seismic *** this regard,we utilise the GeoDetector model to extract critical environmental factors affecting the spatial patterns of mountain geohazards(i.e.,landslide,debris flow and rockfall)in Southwest *** analysis indicates that the factors with the highest explanatory power for the spatial distribution of landslides,debris flows,and rockfalls are soil property,extreme precipitation and extreme temperature,***,we revealed the synergistic effects among factors given their larger q-value than individual *** further explored the responses of mountain geohazards to climate change,including the rising temperature and precipitation,because the frequent occurrence of mountain geohazards is closely related to a warming *** variation in snow water equivalent caused by antecedent snowfall and snowdrifts acts as a crucial indicator for geohazards,highlighting the significance of snow and wind observations in meteorological nowcasting and disaster *** disclose the phenomenon of the geohazard hysteresis to the precipitation peak resulting from the top-down(i.e.,precipitation-runoff and surface-deep soil moisture)peak *** work is expected to enhance the precision of susceptibility assessment models and the reliability of short-term forecasts for mountain geohazards.

utilization of recycled solid waste as ecological reclamation materials based on plant growth experiments and soil quality analysis

During the highway construction,a large number of spoil areas will be generated while a large amount of waste slag and soil could not be rationally ***,the vegetation recovery is slow in the spoil areas due to the soil *** at recycling the solid waste,the sieved engineering waste slag with local red clay and corn straw biochar was supplied to solve the problem of insufficient nutrients in engineering waste slag and *** addition,planting experiments of alfalfa(Medicago sativa l.)and Amorpha fruticosa *** with physical and chemical experiments were carried out to prove the feasibility of the novel improved substrate for the reclamation of spoil *** results show that the substrate's improvement effect is mainly affected by the soil to slag ratio and the biochar *** improvement effect of soil matrix in highway spoil area decreases with the increase of the waste slag content,especially when the soil-slag ratio is less than 3,and the promotion of plants is *** the contrary,the improvement effect is proportional to the biochar content(3%-8%).But it is noted that the Cu and Pb in the soil will exceed the clean limit corresponding to the Nemero soil pol.ution index level when the biochar content is 8%.Therefore,it is recommended that the soil-slag ratio should be≥3,and the biochar content should reach 3%-5%.This research provides experimental basis and technical support for utilizing solid waste resources in the reclamation of highway spoil areas.

Multiscale modeling of gas-induced fracturing in anisotropic clayey rocks

In the context of repositories for nuclear waste,understanding the behavior of gas migration through clayey rocks with inherent anisotropy is crucial for assessing the safety of geological disposal *** primary mechanism for gas breakthrough is the opening of micro-fractures due to high gas *** occurs at gas pressures lower than the combined strength of the rock and its minimum principal stress under external loading *** investigate the mechanism of microscale mode-I ruptures,it is essential to incorporate a multiscale approach that includes subcritical microcracks in the modeling *** this contribution,we derive the model from microstructures that contain periodically distributed microcracks within a porous *** damage evolution law is coupled with the macroscopic poroelastic system by employing the asymptotic homogenization method and considering the inherent hydro-mechanical(HM)anisotropy at the *** resulting permeability change induced by fracture opening is implicitly integrated into the gas flow *** examples are presented to validate the developed model step by *** analysis of local macroscopic response is undertaken to underscore the influence of factors such as strain rate,initial damage,and applied stress,on the gas migration *** examples of direct tension tests are used to demonstrate the model’s efficacy in describing localized failure ***,the simulation results for preferential gas flow reveal the robustness of the two-scale model in explicitly depicting gas-induced fracturing in anisotropic clayey *** model successfully captures the common behaviors observed in laboratory experiments,such as a sudden drop in gas injection pressure,rapid build-up of downstream gas pressure,and steady-state gas flow following gas breakthrough.
