The Jiangmen Under.r.und Neutr.no Obser.ator.(JUNO)featur.s a 2. kt multi-p.r.1}se under.r.und liquid scintillator.sp.er. as its main *** of JUNO's featur.s make it an excellent location for.8B solar.neutr.no measur.ments,such as its low-ener.y thr.shold,high ener.y r.solution comp.r.d with water.Cher.nkov detector.,and much lar.er.tar.et mass comp.r.d with p.evious liquid scintillator.*** this p.p.r.we p.esent a comp.ehensive assessment of JUNO's p.tential for.detecting^8B solar.neutr.nos via the neutr.no-electr.n elastic scatter.ng p.ocess.A r.duced 2.MeV thr.shold for.the r.coil electr.n ener.y is found to be achievable,assuming that the intr.nsic r.dioactive backgr.und^(2.8)U and^(2.2.Th in the liquid scintillator.can be contr.lled to 10^(-17)g/*** ten year. of data acquisition,ap.r.ximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 backgr.und events ar. *** lar.e samp.e will enable an examination of the distor.ion of the r.coil electr.n sp.ctr.m that is dominated by the neutr.no flavor.tr.nsfor.ation in the dense solar.matter.which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measur.d electr.n sp.ctr. and the p.edictions of the standar. thr.e-flavor.neutr.no oscillation *** m^(2._(2.)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2.,JUNO can p.ovide evidence of neutr.no oscillation in the Ear.h at ap.r.ximately the 3sigma(2.igma)level by measur.ng the non-zer. signal r.te var.ation with r.sp.ct to the solar.zenith ***,JUNO can simultaneously measur.Delta m^2.(2.)using^8B solar.neutr.nos to a p.ecision of 2.% or.better.dep.nding on the centr.l value,and to sub-p.r.ent p.ecision using r.actor.antineutr.nos.A comp.r.son of these two measur.ments fr.m the same detector.will help.under.tand the cur.ent mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2.(2.)r.p.r.ed by solar.neutr.no exp.r.ments and the KamLAND exp.r.ment.
