Digital measuring the ocular morphological parameters of guinea pig eye in vivo with Python

Owing to its high theoretical capacity and low cost,Sn has attracted significant attention in sodium-ion ***,the slow kinetics of electrochemical reactions and the rapid decay of capacity resulting from drastic changes in the volume of Sn,as well as persistent side reactions between Sn and the organic electrolyte during the(de)sodium process,have limited its *** improve the electrochemical performance of Sn-based materials,the bottom-up method is normally used to prepare carbon-coated ***,its complex preparation processes and harsh conditions make it unsuitable for practical ***,a carbon-coated hybrid crystal composite(Sn/SnO_(x)@C)was prepared using an up-bottom method with commercial Sn/SnO *** effects accelerate the electrochemical kinetics and inhibit the coarsening of Sn *** Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite electrode exhibited capacity retention of 80.7%even after approximately 1000 cycles(360.4 mAh·g^(−1)) at a current density of 1 A·g^(−1).The high-load Na_(3)V_(2)(PO4)3||Sn/SnO_(x)@C full cell presents a capacity retention rate of 91.7%after 150 cycles at the current density of 0.5 A·g^(−1).This work may significantly accelerate the commercialization of the Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite in sodium-ion batteries with high energy density.

Spin effect on redox acceleration and regioselectivity in Fe-catalyzed alkyne hydrosilylation

Iron catalysts are ideal transition metal catalysts because of the Earths abundant, cheap, biocompatible features of iron salts. Iron catalysts often have unique open-shell structures that easily undergo spin crossover in chemical transformations, a feature rarely found in noble metal catalysts. Unfortunately, little is known currently about how the open-shell structure and spin crossover affect the reactivity and selectivity of iron catalysts, which makes the development of iron catalysts a low efficient trial-and-error program. In this paper, a combination of experiments and theoretical calculations revealed that the iron-catalyzed hydrosilylation of alkynes is typical spin-crossover catalysis. Deep insight into the electronic structures of a set of well-defined open-shell active formal Fe(0) catalysts revealed that the spin-delocalization between the iron center and the 1,10-phenanthroline ligand effectively regulates the iron center's spin and oxidation state to meet the opposite electrostatic requirements of oxidative addition and reductive elimination, respectively,and the spin crossover is essential for this electron transfer process. The triplet transition state was essential for achieving high regioselectivity through tuning the nonbonding interactions. These findings provide an important reference for understanding the effect of catalyst spin state on reaction. It is inspiring for the development of iron catalysts and other Earth-abundant metal catalysts, especially from the point of view of ligand development.

Effects of cooling rate on microstructure and microhardness of directionally solidified Galvalume alloy

The influences of cooling rate on the phase constitution,microstructural length scale,and microhardness of directionally solidified Galvalume(Zn-55Al-1.6Si)alloy were investigated by directional solidification experiments at different withdrawal speeds(5,10,20,50,100,200,and 400μm·s^(-1)).The results show that the microstructure of directionally solidified Galvalume alloys is composed of primary Al dendrites,Si-rich phase and(Zn-Al-Si)ternary eutectics at the withdrawal speed ranging from 5 to 400μm·s^(-1).As the withdrawal speed increases,the segregation of Si element intensifies,resulting in an increase in the area fraction of the Si-rich *** addition,the primary Al dendrites show significant refinement with an increase in the withdrawal *** relationship between the primary dendrite arm spacing(λ_(1))and the thermal parameters of solidification is obtained:λ_(1)=127.3V^(-0.31).Moreover,as the withdrawal speed increases from 5 to 400μm·s^(-1),the microhardness of the alloy increases from 90 HV to 151 *** is a combined effect of grain refinement and second-phase strengthening.

Evolution of Cenozoic sedimentary architecture in Central and Southern South China Sea basins

The Central and Southern South China Sea(CSSCS) has a complex tectonic dynamic background and abundant oil and gas resources, which has always been a hot topic of academic and industrial ***, systematic analyses are still lacking regarding its sediment filling structure and evolution, mostly due to limited borehole penetration and poor quality of seismic reflection data for deeply buried sequences. No consensus has been reached yet on the sedimentary infilling processes, which impeded the reconstruction of the palaeogeography of Southeast Asia and the oil-and-gas exploration undertakings. Here, we illustrate the Cenozoic sedimentary evolution of the CSSCS region by synthesizing relevant data from previous literature and our own observations and displaying the evolution of depositional systems in sequential reconstructions. Besides, the controlling factors of preferred sedimentary scenarios in the CSSCS incorporate the latest interpretations of the spreading of South China Sea(SCS) as well as the demise of the hypothetical Proto-South China Sea(PSCS). The results show that there are three types of sedimentary basins in the CSSCS(foreland,strike-slip, and rift basins) with different sedimentary filling structures. The foreland basins formed a depositional pattern of ‘transition from deep water to shallow water environments', dominated by deep-water depositional systems which were formed before the Early Oligocene with submarine fans developed. Later,the foreland basins were gradually dominated by shallow-water depositional systems with deltas and shallow marine facies. The strike-slip basins showed the depositional architecture of ‘transition from lake to marine environments', i.e. the basins were dominated by lacustrine deposits during the Eocene and evolved into the marine depositional environment since Oligocene with delta developed in the western part of the basin. The purification of low-grade coal-bed methane is extremely important,but challenging,due to the very similar physical properties of CH_(4)and ***,we proposed a dual polarization strategy by employing triazine and polyfluoride sites to construct polar pores in COF materials,achieving the efficient separa-tion of CH_(4)from *** expected,the dual polarized F-CTF-1 and F-CTF-2 exhibit higher CH_(4)adsorption capacity and CH_(4)/N_(2)selectivity than CTF-1 and CTF-2,***,the CH4 uptake capacity and CH_(4)/N_(2)selectivity of F-CTF-2 is 1.76 and 1.42 times than that of *** work not only developed promising COF materials for CH4/N_(2)separation,but also provided important guidance for the separation of other adsorbates with similar properties.
