Phosphorus-enriched biochar from biogas residue of Eichhornia crassipes:transformation and release of phosphorus

Pyrolysis is an effective technology for treating and utilizing biogas *** explore the phosphorus(P)supply capacity of the biochar generated from biogas residue of Eichhornia Crassipes,the P speciation of *** biogas residue and biomass during pyrolysis(300-700°C)was analyzed by combining sequential chemical extraction,31P nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)and P K-edge X-ray absorption near edge structure(XANES)*** treatment promoted the conversion of amorphous Ca-P phases in biogas residue and biomass into crystalline hydroxyapatite(HAP)phase,which matched the formation of stable HCl-P pools in the biochar derived from biogas residue(AEBs,22.65-82.04%)and biomass(EBs,13.08-33.52%)in the process of ***,the total P contents in AEBs(19.43-28.92 mg g^(−1))were higher than that of EBs(3.41-5.26 mg g^(−1)),indicating that AEBs had a great P reclamation *** P release kinetics from AEBs and EBs in water were evaluated via an incubation experiment for 360 *** P release from both AEBs and EBs conformed to the pseudo-second order kinetics model(R^(2)>0.93),but their P release behaviors were *** P release of AEBs conformed to the diffusion-re-adsorption model,while that of EBs accorded with the diffusion-dissolution *** diffusive gradients in thin-films(DGT)analysis showed that AEBs could significantly increase soil available P content as compared with ***,the biochar produced from biogas residue of *** via pyrolysis has a good application potential as a P fertilizer.

目的评价度拉糖肽联合卡格列净对早期血糖控制不佳超重型2型糖尿病(T2DM)患者的临床治疗效果。方法研究对象为2021年7月至2022年12月在郑州人民医院内分泌代谢科收治的口服联合降糖方案血糖控制不好的超重型T2DM患者120例,随机分为试验组和对照组,每组60例。试验组以周制剂度拉糖肽联合卡格列净治疗,对照组给予14 d胰岛素泵治疗至血糖稳定后,改用门冬胰岛素30注射液。经3个月治疗后,比较两种不同治疗策略的临床效果。包括临床疗效、血糖情况、胰岛功能、体格检查指标、血脂情况、血清因子[中性粒细胞与淋巴细胞比值(NLR)、C反应蛋白(CRP)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)及超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)]水平比较,分析GSH-Px、SOD分别与NLR及CRP间的相关性;并对比其诊疗过程中发生的不良反应。结果共剔除患者16例,最终纳入统计学分析病例包括试验组52例,对照组52例。两组空腹血糖(FPG)、餐后2 h血糖(2 h PG)及糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)、胰岛素抵抗指数(HOMA-IR)、总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、低密度脂蛋白(LDL-C)、NLR及CRP水平与治疗前相比均降低,空腹胰岛素(FINS)、稳态模型胰岛β细胞功能指数(HOMA-β)、空腹C肽(FCP)、高密度脂蛋白(HDL-C)、GSH-Px及SOD水平与治疗前相比均增加,且试验组优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。Pearson分析可知,GSH-Px与NLR、CRP及NLR与SOD均呈负相关。治疗过程中,试验组不良反应发生率为19.23%(10/52),对照组为36.54%(19/52),试验组低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=3.873,P<0.05)。结论度拉糖肽联合卡格列净对于早期血糖控制不佳超重型T2DM患者较胰岛素表现出更好的临床治疗效果,值得临床推广应用。

Hepatic steatosis is associated with dysregulated cholesterol metabolism and altered protein acetylation dynamics in chickens

Background Hepatic steatosis is a prevalent manifestation of fatty liver, that has detrimental effect on the health and productivity of laying hens, resulting in economic losses to the poultry industry. Here, we aimed to systematically investigate the genetic regulatory mechanisms of hepatic steatosis in laying *** Ninety individuals with the most prominent characteristics were selected from 686 laying hens according to the accumulation of lipid droplets in the liver, and were graded into three groups, including the control, mild hepatic steatosis and severe hepatic steatosis groups. A combination of transcriptome, proteome, acetylome and lipidome analyses, along with bioinformatics analysis were used to screen the key biological processes, modifications and lipids associated with hepatic *** The rationality of the hepatic steatosis grouping was verified through liver biochemical assays and RNA-seq. Hepatic steatosis was characterized by increased lipid deposition and multiple metabolic abnormalities. Integration of proteome and acetylome revealed that differentially expressed proteins(DEPs) interacted with differentially acetylated proteins(DAPs) and were involved in maintaining the metabolic balance in the liver. Acetylation alterations mainly occurred in the progression from mild to severe hepatic steatosis, i.e., the enzymes in the fatty acid oxidation and bile acid synthesis pathways were significantly less acetylated in severe hepatic steatosis group than that in mild group(P < 0.05). Lipidomics detected a variety of sphingolipids(SPs) and glycerophospholipids(GPs) were negatively correlated with hepatic steatosis(r ≤-0.5, P < 0.05). Designing Membrane Electrode Assembly for Electrochemical CO_(2)Reduction:a Review

Currently, the electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction (CO_(2) RR) can realize the resource conversion of CO_(2) , which is a promising approach to carbon resource use. Important advancements have been made in exploring the CO_(2) RR performance and mechanism because of the rational design of electrolyzer systems, such as H-cells, flow cells, and catalysts. Considering the future development direction of this technology and large-scale application needs, membrane electrode assembly (MEA) systems can improve energy use efficiency and achieve large-scale CO_(2) conversion, which is considered the most promising technology for industrial applications. This review will concentrate on the research progress and present situation of the MEA component structure. This paper begins with the composition and construction of a gas diff usion electrode. Then, the application of ion-exchange membranes in MEA is introduced. Furthermore, the eff ects of pH and the anion and cation of the anolyte on MEA performance are explored. Additionally, we present the anode reaction type in MEA. Finally, the challenges in this field are summarized, and upcoming trends are projected. This review should offer researchers a clearer picture of MEA systems and provide important, timely, and valuable insights into rational electrolyzer design to facilitate further development of CO_(2) electrochemical reduction.

为探讨鹿茸干细胞对大鼠坐骨神经损伤的修复作用，选择30只雄性SD大鼠，制备大鼠坐骨神经损伤模型，随机分为3组：鹿茸干细胞（ASC）移植组，大鼠骨髓间充质干细胞（rBMSC）移植组和生理盐水（对照组），每组各10只。干细胞移植组通过尾静脉注射1×106个细胞（重悬于生理盐水）进行治疗，对照组注射同等剂量的生理盐水。分别于治疗后第7,21天取材检测。行为学观察与足迹分析检测神经功能恢复，组织学染色评估大鼠坐骨神经病理学变化与患侧腓肠肌萎缩恢复情况，免疫荧光染色与RT-qPCR检测坐骨神经再生相关因子（NF200,c-Jun,Periaxin,MPZ与Krox20）的表达。术后3周，与对照组相比，干细胞移植组大鼠坐骨神经功能情况和神经再生情况均出现明显改善，其中ASC移植组效果更显著。坐骨神经功能指数（SFI）结果显示，术后第21天，ASC移植组SFI值显著优于rBMSC移植组与对照组；术后第21天，对照组的患侧腓肠肌的湿重比、肌纤维面积显著低于干细胞移植组；组织学染色结果显示，ASC移植组再生神经纤维数目显著增多，排列规则，NF200表达量显著升高；术后第7天，RT-qPCR结果显示，与对照组相比，ASC移植显著增强c-Jun、Periaxin、MPZ与Krox20基因表达。首次基于鹿茸神经能够周期性再生这一生物学现象，探究鹿茸干细胞对大鼠神经再生修复的作用，明确了ASC移植显著促进大鼠坐骨神经损伤后的再生修复及其运动功能恢复，效果优于rBMSC移植组。

Inflammatory responses,manifested in excessive oxidative stress and microglia overactivation,together with metal ion-triggered amyloid-beta(Aβ)deposition,are critical hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).The intricate pathogenesis causes severe impairment of neurons,which,in turn,exacerbates Aβaggregation and facilitates AD ***,multifunctional melanin-like metal ion chelators and neuroinflammation regulators(named PDA@K)were constructed for targeted treatment of *** this platform,intrinsically bioactive material polydopamine nanoparticles(PDA)with potent metal ion chelating and ROS scavenging effects were decorated with the KLVFF peptide,endowing the system with the capacity of enhanced pathological blood–brain barrier(BBB)crossing and lesion site accumulation via Aβ*** vitro and in vivo experiment revealed that PDA@K had high affinity toward Aβand were able to hitch a ride on Aβto achieve increased pathological BBB *** engineered PDA@K effectively mitigated Aβaggregate and alleviated neuroinflammation.

To the Editor:Pelvic organ prolapse(POP)is a common pelvic floor disorder in older women and is responsible for a significant decrease in health-related quality of *** the increased longevity of women,POP is becoming a major health concern.[1]Laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy(LSC)is a common mesh-based surgical approach for severe prolapse,and a high cure rate and few complications have been reported.[2]To our knowledge,the long-term durability,complications,and pelvic floor symptoms after LSC have not been fully evaluated in detail.A few studies assessed the 5-year outcome after LSC,but these reports were limited by their retrospective design,uneven follow-up time,or inconsistent outcome assessment.
