Rapid and accurate segmentation of structural cracks is essential for ensuring the quality and safety of engineering projects. In practice, however, this task faces the challenge of finding a balance between detection accuracy and efficiency. To alleviate this problem, a lightweight and efficient real-time crack segmentation framework was ***, in the network model system based on an encoding-decoding structure, the encoding network is equipped with packet convolution and attention mechanisms to capture features of different visual scales in layers,and in the decoding process, we also introduce a fusion module based on spatial attention to effectively aggregate these hierarchical features. Codecs are connected by pyramid pooling model(PPM) filtering. The results show that the crack segmentation accuracy and real-time operation capability larger than 76% and 15 fps, respectively, are validated by three publicly available datasets. These wide-ranging results highlight the potential of the model for the intelligent O&M for cross-sea bridge.

Background The development and growth of children influence values of liver function *** study aims to establish age-and gender-specific pediatric reference intervals of liver function among Han children in Changchun,*** A total of 1394 healthy Han children,aged 2-14 years,were recruited from communities and schools with informed parental consent in *** levels of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),y-glutamyltransferase(GGT),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),total protein(TP),albumin(ALB),total bilirubin(TBIL)and direct bilirubin(DBIL)were measured on Hitachi 7600-210 automatic biochemical *** age-and gender-specific reference intervals were partitioned using Harris and Boyd's test and calculated using nonparametric rank *** pediatric reference intervals were validated in five representative hospitals located in different areas in *** All the analytes required some levels of age ***(TP,ALB)and bilirubins(TBIL,DBIL)required no gender *** contrast,considerable gender partitioning was required for serum ALT,AST,GGT,and ***,TBIL,and DBIL showed steady increases,and AST showed apparent decreases over time,whereas ALT,GGT,ALP,and ALB demonstrated complex trends of *** and GGT increased sharply in males from 11 to 14 years ***,ALP declined in females from 13 to 14 *** five laboratories passed the validation of reference *** There were apparent age or gender variations of the reference intervals for liver *** establishing pediatric reference intervals,partitioning according to age and gender is necessary.

Transcorneal electrical stimulation （TES） is a novel therapeutic approach to activate the retina and related downstream structures. TES has multiple advantages over traditional treatments, such as being minimally invasive and readily applicable in a routine manner. Series of animal experiments have shown that TES protects the retinal neuron from traumatic or genetic induced degeneration. These laboratory evidences support its utilization in ophthalmological therapies against various retinal and optical diseases including retinitis pigmentosa （RP）, traumatic optic neuropathy, anterior ischemic optic neuropathy （AION）, and retinal artery occlusions （RAOs）. Several pioneering explorations sought to clarify the functional mechanism underlying the neuroprotective effects of TES. It seems that the neuroprotective effects should not be attributed to a solitary pathway, on the contrary, multiple mechanisms might contribute collectively to maintain cellular homeostasis and promote cell survival in the retina. More precise evaluations y/a functional and morphological techniques would determine the exact mechanism underlying the remarkable neuroprotective effect of TES. Further studies to determine the optimal parameters and the long-term stability of TES are crucial to justify the clinical significance and to establish TES as a popularized therapeutic modality against retinal and optic neuropathy.

AIM:To evaluate the accuracy of segmented measurement of axial length(AL)in high myopia filled with silicone oil by immersion B-scan ultrasonography(immersion B-scan).METHODS:From June 2016 to June 2020,a total of 67 ultra-high myopia inpatients(67 eyes)who underwent silicone oil removal combined with cataract extraction and intraocular lens(IOL)implantation were retrospectively *** preoperative axial length(AL)of 31 patients with severe cataract were segmented measured using immersion B-scan(B-scan group)and another 36 patients with mild or moderate cataract were measured using IOLMaster 500(IOLMaster group).The post-operative ALs in two groups were both measured using IOLMaster *** IOL power was calculated with Haigis *** differences in ALs between pre-and post-surgery,as well as the postoperative refractive spherical equivalent,absolute refractive error,the prediction deviation of postoperative refraction and best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)were ***:The pre-and post-operative ALs were 30.46±1.63 mm(range 28.09-33.51 mm)and 30.42±1.70 mm(range 28.03-33.90 mm)in B-scan group(t=0.644,P=0.542)and 30.51±1.21 mm(range 28.03-33.90 mm)and 30.43±1.27 mm(range 28.54-33.50 mm)in IOLMaster group(t=1.843,P=0.074),*** months after surgery,BCVA were 0.45±0.13(range 0.3-0.9)and 0.44±0.20(range 0.2-1.0)in B-scan and IOLMaster group respectively(t=0.086,P=0.932).There was no significant difference of the postoperative spherical equivalent(-3.11±0.65 D vs-3.21±0.51 D,t=0.671,P=0.505)and the absolute refractive error(0.589±0.340 vs 0.470±0.245 D,t=1.615,P=0.112)between two *** B-scan group,absolute refractive error within±0.50 D was found in 18 eyes(58.1%),within±1.00 D in 26 eyes(83.9%),and within±1.50 D in 31 eyes(100%).In IOLMaster group,absolute refractive error within±0.50 D was found in 23 eyes(63.9%),within±1.00 D in 34 eyes(94.4%),and within±1.50 D in 36 eyes(Z=0.757,P=0.449).CONCLUSION:The segmented measurement of ALs

Optimized Benzalkonium Chloride Gel: A Potential Vaginal Microbicides

Objective To develop an optimized BZK gel with good pharmaceutical effect and less toxicity to vaginal mucosa. Methods Four methods as below were used to research the spermicidal activity of BZK gel： 1） in vitro spermicidal test; 2） in vivo spermicidal test in rabbits; 3） anti-fertility test in rabbits; 4） contraceptive test in rabbits. Mucosal irritation test was used in rats to evaluate the safety of optimized BZK gel. Microbiological assessments were used to research anti-STI pathogens （including treponema pallidum, neisseria gonorrhoeae, trichomona vaginalis, candida albicans, ureaplama urealyticum, herpes simplex virus type-2, chlamydiae trachomatis） effect of optimized BZK gel. Results In vitro spermicidal test, EC50 of BZK gel was 0.029mg/ml, a little higher than that of N-9 （0.019mg/ml）. The MIC of BZK gel was 0.25mg/ml, similar to that of N-9 （0.20mg/ml）. The vaginal mucosal irritation test in rats showed that 0.429% BZK gel showed only minimal vaginal irritation, and did not damage the vaginal epithelium or cause local inflammation in rats. Microbiological assessments showed that optimized BZK gel could inhibit or inactivate common ST1 pathogens even after 3-fold or 5-fold dilution. Conclusion Optimized BZK gel was an effective microbicides.

An artificial neural network(ANN)method is introduced to predict drop size in two kinds of pulsed columns with small-scale data *** training,the deviation between calculate and experimental results are 3.8%and 9.3%,*** ANN model,the influence of interfacial tension and pulsation intensity on the droplet diameter has been *** size gradually increases with the increase of interfacial tension,and decreases with the increase of pulse *** can be seen that the accuracy of ANN model in predicting droplet size outside the training set range is reach the same level as the accuracy of correlation obtained based on experiments within this *** two kinds of columns,the drop size prediction deviations of ANN model are 9.6%and 18.5%and the deviations in correlations are 11%and 15%.

Considering that previous literature has mainly focused on the impact of the digital economy(DE)on environmental degradation,ignoring the role of natural resources,this study uses two key factors(natural resource rent and anticorruption regulation)as threshold variables to reveal the effect of natural resources on the association between DE and carbon dioxide(CO_(2))*** doing so,the study covers 97 countries,uses annual data between 2003 and 2019,and applies a panel threshold *** outcomes present that the influence of the DE on CO_(2)emissions has a single-threshold effect(i.e.,there is an inverted U-shaped link between the DE and CO_(2)emissions)when natural resource rent is the threshold ***,the DE significantly increases CO_(2)emissions when the natural resource rent is at a low-to-medium level,but the DE suppresses CO_(2)emissions growth when natural resource rent exceeds the ***,the DE drives overall CO_(2)emissions growth when anticorruption regulation is the threshold variable and there are double thresholds for its impact on CO_(2)***,a rise in anticorruption regulation initially exacerbates the contribution of DE impact on CO_(2)emissions and then weakens it over *** on the results,the study proposes various implications,such as formulating a DE development strategy,considering natural resources in the development of the DE,and strengthening anti-corruption efforts in the field of environmental protection.

The bound states around a vortex in anisotropic superconductors is a longstanding yet important *** this work,we develop a variational theory on the basis of the Andreev approximation to obtain the energy levels and wave functions of the low-energy quantized bound states in superconductors with anisotropic pairing on arbitrary Fermi *** the case of circular Fermi surface,the effective Schr¨odinger equation yielding the bound state energies gets back to the theory proposed by Volovik and Kopnin many years *** generalization here enables us to prove the equidistant energy spectrum inside a vortex in a broader class of *** importantly,we are now able to obtain the wave functions of these bound states by projecting the quasiclassical wave function on the eigenmodes of the effective Schr¨odinger equation,going beyond the quasiclassical Eilenberger results,which,as we find,are sensitive to the scattering *** the case of isotropic Fermi surface,the spatial profile of the low-energy local density of states is dominated near the vortex center and elongates along the gap antinode directions,in addition to the ubiquitous Friedel oscillation arising from the quantum inteference neglected in the Eilenberger ***,as a consequence of the pairing anisotropy,the quantized wave functions develop a peculiar distribution of winding number,which reduces stepwise towards the vortex *** work provides a flexible way to study the vortex bound states in the future.
