Exploring the multifunctional array antenna suitable for complex communication environment has very important research value. In this paper, a millimeter wave(mm-wave) double longitudinal sawtooth slot array antenna(DLSA) based on substrate integrated waveguide(SIW) technology is proposed, which has wideband, highgain and novel beam characteristics. Two irregular longitudinal slots are etched on the SIW conductor surface as the radiation structure. To improve the bandwidth of the DLSA, the metallized vias are added at the transition point of the slots to construct multiple resonant frequency points. By adjusting the size of the slots and the position of the metallized vias, the phase constant can be regulated, and the unusual beam characteristics can be obtained. That is to say, in the lower frequency band, the beam pointing angle increases with frequency. In the higher frequency band,the beam pointing angle is maintained at a fixed angle. Finally, to improve the antenna gain, a 16 × 8 DLSA is fabricated, measured and discussed. The proposed antenna has an impedance matching bandwidth close to 9.7 GHz.From 27 to 33 GHz, the beam pointing angle changes from 8° to 29°. From 33 to 37 GHz, the beam pointing angle is fixed at 29°, and the pointing angle error range is ±1°. In addition, the measured maximum gain is 22.9 d Bi at32 GHz.

Hexavalent chromium[Cr(Ⅵ)]causes serious harm to the environment due to its high toxicity,solubility,and mobility.Ferrihydrites(Fh)are the main adsorbent and trapping agent of Cr(Ⅵ)in soils and aquifers,and they usually coexist with silicate(Si),forming Si-containing ferrihydrite(Si-Fh)mixtures.However,the mechanism of Cr(Ⅵ)retention by Si-Fh mixtures is poorly understood.In this study,the behaviors and mechanisms of Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption onto Si-Fh with different Si/Fe molar ratios was investigated.Transmission electron microscope,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and other techniques were used to characterize Si-Fh and Cr(Ⅵ)-loading of Si-Fh.The results show that specific surface area of Si-Fh increases gradually with increasing Si/Fe ratios,but Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption on Si-Fh decreases with increasing Si/Fe ratios.This is because with an increase in Si/Fe molar ratio,the point of zero charge of Si-Fh gradually decreases and electrostatic repulsion between Si-Fh and Cr(Ⅵ)increases.However,the complexation of Cr(Ⅵ)is enhanced due to the increase in adsorbed hydroxyl(A-OH-)on Si-Fh with increasing Si/Fe molar ratio,which partly counteracts the effect of the electrostatic repulsion.Overall,the increase in the electrostatic repulsion has a greater impact on adsorption than the additional complexation with Si-Fh.Density functional theory calculation further supports this observation,showing the increases in electron variation of bonding atoms and reaction energies of inner spherical complexes with the increase in Si/Fe ratio.

Developing single-crystalline Ni-rich cathodes is an effective strategy to improve the safety and cycle life of Li-ion batteries(LIBs).However,the easy-to-loss of Li and O in high-temperature lithiation results in unsatisfactory ordered layered structure and stoichiometry.Herein,we demonstrate the synthesis of highly-ordered and fully-stoichiometric single-crystalline LiNi_(0.83)Co_(0.12)Mn_(0.05)O_(2)(SC-NCM83)cathodes by the regulation of pre-lithiation kinetics.The well-balanced pre-lithiation kinetics have been proved to greatly improve the proportion of layered phase in the intermediate by inhibiting the formation of metastable spinel phase,which promoted the rapid transformation of the intermediate into highly-ordered layered SC-NCM83 in the subsequent lithiation process.After coating a layer of Li_(2)O–B_(2)O_(3),the resultant cathodes deliver superior cycling stability with 90.9%capacity retention at 1C after 300 cycles in pouch-type full batteries.The enhancement mechanism has also been clarified.These findings exhibit fundamental insights into the pre-lithiation kinetics process for guiding the synthesis of high-quality singlecrystalline Ni-rich cathodes.

Observing nuclear neutrinoless double beta (0vββ) decay would be a revolutionary result in particle physics.Observing such a decay would prove that the neutrinos are their own antiparticles,help to study the absolute mass of neutrinos,explore the origin of their mass,and may explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry in our universe by lepton number violation.We propose developing a time projection chamber (TPC) using high-pressure ^(82)SeF_(6) gas and Topmetal silicon sensors for readout in the China Jinping Underground Laboratory (CJPL) to search for neutrinoless double beta decay of82Se,called the NvDEx experiment.Besides being located at CJPL with the world’s thickest rock shielding,NvDEx combines the advantages of the high Qββ(2.996 MeV) of82Se and the TPC’s ability to distinguish signal and background events using their different topological characteristics.This makes NvDEx unique,with great potential for low-background and high-sensitivity 0 vββsearches.NvDEx-100,a NvDEx experiment phase with 100 kg of SeF_(6)gas,is being built,with plans to complete installation at CJPL by 2025.This report introduces 0 vββ physics,the NvDEx concept and its advantages,and the schematic design of NvDEx-100,its subsystems,and background and sensitivity estimation.

To enhance the mechanical properties of polypropylene random copolymer(PPR),polystyrene(PS)with four different contents were added to the PPR matrix through melt blending.Subsequently,using the Multi-Flow Vibration Injection Molding(MFVIM)technology,PPR/PS in situ microfiber composites(MFC)with different blending ratios were prepared.The results indicated that blending ratio had a great impact on the phase morphology and crystal structure of MFVIM samples,which was different from those of conventional injection molding(CIM)samples.PS ultrafine fibers could be formed under the shear field and could absorb the PPR molecular chains to form hybrid shish-kebab structures.Meanwhile,the PPR matrix could also form shish-kebab structures under the effect of strong shear.When the PS content reached 20%,under the combined action of PS in situ microfibers and highly oriented crystal structure,the tensile strength and Young’s modulus of the sample were obviously improved and the impact strength remained at a relatively high level.So a strong and tough balanced PPR based material was obtained.These results provide valuable insights for expanding the industrial and daily-life applications of PPR and show promising development prospects.

A Deep Generative Model with Multiscale Features Enabled Industrial Internet of Things for Intelligent Fault Diagnosis of Bearings

Effective condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of bearings can not only maximize the life of rolling bearings and prevent unexpected shutdowns caused by equipment failures but also eliminate unnecessary costs and waste caused by excessive maintenance.However,the existing deep-learning-based bearing fault diagnosis models have the following defects.First of all,these models have a large demand for fault data.Second,the previous models only consider that single-scale features are generally less effective in diagnosing bearing faults.Therefore,we designed a bearing fault data collection platform based on the Industrial Internet of Things,which is used to collect bearing status data from sensors in real time and feed it back into the diagnostic model.On the basis of this platform,we propose a bearing fault diagnosis model based on deep generative models with multiscale features(DGMMFs)to solve the above problems.The DGMMF model is a multiclassification model,which can directly output the abnormal type of the bearing.Specifically,the DGMMF model uses 4 different variational autoencoder models to augment the bearing data and integrates features of different scales.Compared with single-scale features,these multiscale features contain more information and can perform better.Finally,we conducted a large number of related experiments on the real bearing fault datasets and verified the effectiveness of the DGMMF model using multiple evaluation metrics.The DGMMF model has achieved the highest value under all metrics,among which the value of precision is 0.926,the value of recall is 0.924,the value of accuracy is 0.926,and the value of F1 score is 0.925.

Identification and functional analysis of CG3526 in spermatogenesis of Drosophila melanogaster

Spermatogenesis is a critical part of reproduction in insects;however,its molecular mechanism is still largely unknown.In this study,we identified a testis-specific gene CG3526 in Drosophila melanogaster.Bioinformatics analysis showed that CG3526 contains a zinc binding domain and 2 C2H2 type zinc fingers,and it is clustered to the vertebrate really interesting new gene(RING)family E3 ubiquitin-protein ligases.When CG3526 was knocked down by RNA interference(RNAi),the testis became much smaller in size,and the apical tip exhibited a sharp and thin end instead of the blunt and round shape in the control testis.More importantly,compared to the control flies,only a few mature sperm were present in the seminal vesicle of C587-Gal4>CG3526 RNAi flies.Immunofluorescence staining of the testis from CG3526 RNAi flies showed that the homeostasis of testis stem cell niche was disrupted,cell distribution in the apical tip was scattered,and the process of spermatogenesis was not completed.Furthermore,we found that the phenotype of CG3526 RNAi flies’testis was similar to that of testis of Stat92E RNAi flies,the expression level of CG3526 was significantly downregulated in the Stat92EF06346 mutant flies,and the promoter activity of CG3526 was upregulated by STAT92E.Taken together,our results indicated that CG3526 is a downstream effector gene in the JAK-STAT signaling pathway that plays a key role in the spermatogenesis of Drosophila.

Coal gangue(CG)is an environmental waste that faces an urgent demand for disposal in China.The utilization of CG in construction materials has broad application prospects and gained increasing interest.However,the poor compatibility of polycarboxylate superplasticizer(PCE)with CG powder hinders its efficiency in a wide range of applications.Here,this paper attempts to improve the compatibility of PCE with CG powder in cement paste based on the regulation of aggregation and the adsorption behavior of PCE.Dynamic light scattering(DLS)and fluorescence spectroscopy tests were carried out to understand the improved mechanism.The results indicated that the addition of CG powder increases the ionic strengths of the cement liquid phase,which makes PCE tend to aggregate at a lower concentration compared with no CG powder introduction.Adding(CH_(3)COO)_(2)Cu is beneficial for enhancing the workability of cement paste by reducing PCE aggregation while maintaining the compressive strength of cement specimens.Therefore,(CH_(3)COO)_(2)Cu extra addition can be regarded as an effective and sustainable way to improve the workability of cement paste with CG powder.

Magnetoelastic couplings in giant magnetostrictive materials （GMMs） attract significant interests due to their extensive applications in the fields of spintronics and energy harvesting devices.Understanding the role of the selection of materials and the response to external fields is essential for attaining desired functionality of a GMM.Herein,machine learning （ML） models are conducted to predict saturation magnetostrictions （λs） in RFe2-type （R=rare earth） GMMs with different compositions.According to ML-predicted composition–λsrelations,it is discovered that the values ofλshigher than1100×10–6are almost situated in the composition space surrounded by 0.26≤x≤0.60 and 1.90≤y≤2.00 for the ternary compounds of TbxDy1-xFey.Assisted by ML predictions,the compositions are further narrowed down to the space surrounded by 0.26≤x≤0.32 and 1.92≤y≤1.97 for the excellent piezomagnetic （PM） performance in the TbxDy1-xFey-based PM device through our developed high-throughput （HTP） micromagnetic simulation（MMS） algorithm.Accordingly,high sensitivities up to10.22–13.61 m T·MPa–1are observed in the optimized range within which the available experimental data fall well.This work not only provides valuable insights toward understanding the mechanism of magnetoelastic couplings,but also paves the way for designing and optimizing highperformance magnetostrictive materials and PM sensing devices.

We propose and numerically demonstrate a photonic computing primitive designed for integrated spiking neural networks (SNNs) based on add-drop ring microresonators (ADRMRs) and electrically reconfigurable phasechange material (PCM) photonic switches. In this neuromorphic system, the passive silicon-based ADRMR,equipped with a power-tunable auxiliary light, effectively demonstrates nonlinearity-induced dual neural dynamics encompassing spiking response and synaptic plasticity that can generate single-wavelength optical neural spikes with synaptic weight. By cascading these ADRMRs with different resonant wavelengths, weighted multiple-wavelength spikes can be feasibly output from the ADRMR-based hardware arrays when external wavelengthaddressable optical pulses are injected;subsequently, the cumulative power of these weighted output spikes is utilized to ascertain the activation status of the reconfigurable PCM photonic switches. Moreover, the reconfigurable mechanism driving the interconversion of the PCMs between the resonant-bonded crystalline states and the covalent-bonded amorphous states is achieved through precise thermal modulation. Drawing from the thermal properties, an innovative thermodynamic leaky integrate-and-firing (TLIF) neuron system is proposed. With the TLIF neuron system as the fundamental unit, a fully connected SNN is constructed to complete a classic deep learning task:the recognition of handwritten digit patterns. The simulation results reveal that the exemplary SNN can effectively recognize 10 numbers directly in the optical domain by employing the surrogate gradient algorithm. The theoretical verification of our architecture paves a whole new path for integrated photonic SNNs, with the potential to advance the field of neuromorphic photonic systems and enable more efficient spiking information processing.
