Construction of ZnO@CDs@Co_(3)O_(4) sandwich heterostructure with multi-interfacial electron-transfer toward enhanced photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction

Photocatalytic conversion of CO_(2) into small-molecule chemical feedstocks can meet the growing demand for energy and alleviate the global warming. Herein, a p-n ZnO@CDs@Co_(3)O_(4) heterojunction with sandwich structure was constructed by calcination method of self-assembled ZIF-8@CDs@ZIF-67. The ZnO@CDs@Co_(3)O_(4) with well-defined interfacial structure exhibited the significantly enhanced photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction activity, and the optimal catalyst indicated the(CO + CH_(4)) evolution rate of 214.53μmol g^(-1)h^(-1) under simulated solar light, which was superior to ZnO, Co_(3)O_(4) and binary ZnO@Co_(3)O_(4).The internal cavity, exposed active sites, multiple interfaces and constructed p-n heterojunction can facilitate the light harvesting and photoexcited electron transfer. Besides, after introduction of CDs placed in the middle layer between ZnO and Co_(3)O_(4), CDs with excellent photoelectric property further promoted charge separation and migration. This work represents an appealing strategy to construct well-defined photocatalysts for boosting CO_(2) photoreduction.

Carbon dots anchored NiAl-LDH@In_(2)O_(3) hierarchical nanotubes for promoting selective CO_(2) photoreduction into CH_(4)

The efficient conversion of CO_(2) into hydrocarbon fuels(CH_(4))with high selectivity is considered as a great challenge in photocatalysis owing to the multiple-electron transfer pathway and competitive H_(2) generation.Herein,we developed carbon dots(CDs)-modulated S-scheme heterojunction of CDs/NiAl-LDH@In_(2)O_(3)(C-DH@IN)through a facile in-situ hydrothermal method.Thanks to the multi-shell nanotube structure,the C-DH@IN shows an enhanced CH_(4) evolution rate of 10.67μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)and higher selectivity of CH_(4)(85.70%)compared with In_(2)O_(3) and Ni Al-LDH@In_(2)O_(3) binary catalyst in the pure water without sacrificial agent.Electron spin resonance(ESR)and in situ Fourier transform infrared spectra verify that the constructed S-scheme heterojunction can possess the strong redox capability and the HCOOand CH_(3)O-as critical intermediates play an important role in selective CO_(2) reduction to generate CH_(4).Furthermore,CDs with superior photoabsorption can boost the electron transfer and absorb H^(+),thus improving the integration of H^(+)and CO_(2) molecule.Therefore,this work emphasizes a facile strategy to achieve efficient CO_(2)-to-CH_(4) conversion based on construction of CDs-based heterojunction catalysts.

Strain-promoted S-arylation and alkenylation of sulfinamides using arynes and cyclic alkynes

The conversion of commercially available chiral sulfinamides into pharmaceutically useful chiral sulfoximines via direct SIVfunctionalization is synthetically attractive but challenging due to the competitive reaction of N-functionalization. Herein, we disclose a novel strain-release strategy to access stereospecific and chemoselective SIV-arylation and alkenylation of sulfinamides using arynes and strained cyclic alkynes. This method tolerates an unprecedented chemical diversity of functional groups attached to the nitrogen center(N-R). The origin of the high SIV-selectivity is elucidated by density functional theory calculations, suggesting a stepwise mechanism for the aryne substrates and a concerted mechanism for the cyclic alkynes.

Effects of vacancy and external electric field on the electronic properties of the MoSi_(2)N_(4)/graphene heterostructure

Recently,the newly synthesized septuple-atomic layer two-dimensional(2D)material MoSi_(2)N_(4)(MSN)has attracted attention worldwide.Our work delves into the effect of vacancies and external electric fields on the electronic properties of the MSN/graphene(Gr)heterostructure using first-principles calculation.We find that four types of defective structures,N-in,N-out,Si and Mo vacancy defects of monolayer MSN and MSN/Gr heterostructure are stable in air.Moreover,vacancy defects can effectively modulate the charge transfer at the interface of the MSN/Gr heterostructure as well as the work function of the pristine monolayer MSN and MSN/Gr heterostructure.Finally,the application of an external electric field enables the dynamic switching between n-type and p-type Schottky contacts.Our work may offer the possibility of exceeding the capabilities of conventional Schottky diodes based on MSN/Gr heterostructures.

Wear Resistance, Cytotoxicity and Antibacterial Properties of Polyetheretherketone Composite Modified by Carbon Fiber and Black Phosphorus

High wear resistance,low cytotoxicity and excellent antibacterial properties are the basis for osseointegration of implant materials.Polyetheretherketone(PEEK)has been considered as a potential implant material due to its excellent biocompatibility,natural radiolucency and mechanical properties.In this work,to improve the wear resistance,cytotoxicity and antibacterial properties of PEEK,carbon fiber(CFR)and Black Phosphorus(BP)were used to synergistically modify PEEK by two methods,deposition of BP coating on CFR-PEEK and BP/CFR-PEEK coating on Ti6Al4V(TC4)through electrostatic spraying.After CFR and BP synergistically modified PEEK,the friction coefficient of BP coating on CFR-PEEK and BP/CFR-PEEK coating were 0.14±0.01 and 0.09±0.02,respectively.The wear volume of BP coating on CFR-PEEK(30.54±1.32)was higher than that of BP/CFR-PEEK coating(9.46±1.32),which indicated that BP/CFR-PEEK coating showed high wear resistance.The difference in wear resistance may be caused by the fact that BP was not easily oxidized in BP/CFR-PEEK coating.In addition,BP coating on CFR-PEEK and BP/CFR-PEEK coating showed no obvious cytotoxicity to L929 cell and presented excellent antibacterial efficiency(up to 94.5%±2.8%and 96.0%±3.8%,respectively)against Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus).It was concluded that BP/CFR-PEEK coating exhibited high wear resistance,low cytotoxicity and excellent antibacterial properties against S.aureus,which might provide a foundation for osseointegration of implants.

We report an experimental investigation on the Doppler-free saturated absorption spectroscopy of buffer-gas-cooled Barium monofluoride(BaF)molecules in a 4 K cryogenic cell.The obtained spectra with a resolution of 19 MHz,much smaller than previously observed in absorption spectroscopy,clearly resolve the hyperfine transitions.Moreover,we use these high-resolution spectra to fit the hyperfine splittings of excited A(v=0)state and find the hyperfine splitting of the laser-cooling-relevant A^(2)Π_(1/2)(v=0,J=1/2,+)state is about 18 MHz,much higher than the previous theoretically predicted value.This provides important missing information for laser cooling of BaF molecules.

Systematic review of fibroblastic rheumatism:A case report

BACKGROUND Fibroblastic rheumatism(FR)is a rare fibroproliferative disease with an unknown etiology.The absence of typical symptoms makes early diagnosis challenging.This study aims to systematically review FR cases and present a case from our center to provide a comprehensive description of the clinical manifestations,diagnosis,and treatment,thereby assisting clinicians in early identification and timely management of FR,ultimately leading to improved prognosis.CASE SUMMARY FR is a rare fibroproliferative disease with an unknown etiology.It is characterized by rapidly progressive and destructive symmetrical inflammatory multiple arthritis.Here,we present a rare case of a 50-year-old female with symmetric inflammatory polyarthritis.We highlight the importance of a comprehensive medical history,histopathology,immunohistochemistry,and clinical manifestations of skin nodules,arthralgia,and arthritis for successful disease diagnosis.Despite employing non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,corticosteroids,methotrexate,and tacrolimus,the patient's symptoms did not resolve,and joint destruction continued to progress.Early diagnosis,aggressive treatment with appropriate use of steroids and immunosuppressants,and further research to identify effective treatment strategies are crucial in preventing detrimental joint destruction and limb contractures.CONCLUSION A comprehensive review of the available literature emphasizes the importance of early and accurate diagnosis coupled with appropriate treatment for achieving favorable outcomes and preventing joint destruction and limb contractures.

Halide perovskite nanocrystals are potential catalysts for CO_(2) photoreduction,while,the strong radiative recombination and insufficient stability limit their catalytic performance and application.Herein,we report that layered double hydroxide nanosheets activate CsPbBr_(3) nanocrystals(CLDH)for enhanced photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction.These CLDH heterojunctions show the remarkably enhanced CO_(2) photoreduction performance;without cocatalyst and sacrificial agent,the average electron consumption rate of CLDH(49.16μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1))is approximately 3.7 times higher than that of pristine CsPbBr_(3).Also,CLDH catalyst exhibits a robust stability after ten cycles over 30 h.

脑胶质瘤是中枢神经系统最常见的原发性恶性肿瘤,实现脑胶质瘤的鉴别诊断、术前预测脑胶质瘤的病理分级、基因分型、肿瘤微环境和胶质瘤的预后评估对于实施个体化治疗具有重要临床意义。近年来,影像组学以其无创、精准的特点在脑胶质瘤的诊疗中取得了较大进展。本文就MRI影像组学在脑胶质瘤中的研究进展予以综述,以拓展MRI影像组学在脑胶质瘤精准诊疗中的新思路,从而为脑胶质瘤的诊断和个体化管理提供临床指导意义。
