Distribution of Helical Properties of Solar Magnetic Fields

We summarize studies of helical properties of solar magnetic fields such as current helicity and twist of magnetic fields in solar active regions (ARs), that are observational tracers of the alpha-effect in the solar convective zone (SCZ). Information on their spatial distribution is obtained by analysis of systematic magnetographic observations of active regions taken at Huairou Solar Observing Station of National Astronomical Observatories of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The main property is that the tracers of the alpha-effect are antisymmetric about the solar equator. Identifying longitudinal migration of active regions with their individual rotation rates and taking into account the internal differential rotation law within the SCZ known from helioseismology, we deduce the distribution of the effect over depth. We have found evidence that the alpha-effect changes its value and sign near the bottom of the SCZ, and this is in accord with the theoretical studies and numerical simulations. We discuss other regularities which can be revealed by further analysis such as possible dependence on longitude, time, and magnetic field strength, etc.

Constructing a reliable and favorable electrode-electrolyte interface is crucial to utilize the exceptional energy storage capability in commercial lithium-ion ***,we report a facile synthesis approach for the lithium difluorophosphate(LiPO_(2)F_(2))solution as an effective film-forming additive via direct adding the Li_(2)CO_(3) into LiPF6 solution at 45℃.Benefiting from the significantly reduced interface resistance(RSEI)and charge transfer impedance(Rct)of both the cathode and anode by adding the prepared LiPO_(2)F_(2)solution into a baseline electrolyte,the cycling performance of the graphite||LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(0.3)Co_(0.2)O_(2) pouch cell is remarkably improved under all-climate condition.

Abstract: A better understanding of the mechanisms of water uptake by plant roots should be vital for improving drought resistance and water use efficiency (WUE). In the present study, we have demonstrated correlations between root system hydraulic conductivity and root characteristics during evolution using six wheat evolution genotypes (solution culture) with different ploidy chromosome sets (Triticum boeoticum Bioss., T. monococcum L.: 2n=2x=14; T. dicoccides Koern., T. dicoccon (Schrank) Schuebl.: 2n = 4x = 28; T. vulgare Vill., T. aestivum L. cv. Xiaoyan No. 6: 2n = 6x = 42). The experimental results showed that significant correlations were found between root system hydraulic conductivity and root characteristics of the materials with the increase in ploidy chromosomes (2x→6x) during wheat evolution. Hydraulic conductivity of the wheat root system at the whole-plant level was increased with chromosome ploidy during evolution, which was positively correlated with hydraulic conductivity of single roots, whole plant biomass, root average diameter, and root growth (length, area), whereas the root/shoot ratio had an inverse correlation with the hydraulic conductivity of root system with increasing chromosome ploidy during wheat evolution. Therefore, it is concluded that that the water uptake ability of wheat roots was strengthened from wild to modern cultivated species during evolution, which will provide scientific evidence for genetic breeding to improve the WUE of wheat by genetic engineering.

Two new two-dimensional frameworks based on packing of square grids, Cu（Me4bpz）2（NO3）2 （1） and Zn（Me4bpz）（SO4）（2）（Me4bpz=3,Y,5,5＇-tetramethyl-4,4＇-bipyrazole）, have been synthesized by mild solvothermal method. In addition to the major metal-organic linker coordination, they allow us to study how the metal-inorganic anion coordination and organic linker-inorganic anion hydrogen bonding affect the resulting structures during the framework assembly.

背景与目的:肝癌是消化道恶性肿瘤之一,发病率高、病死率高。铜死亡是一种铜依赖、新型的细胞死亡方式,继发于铜过载诱发的线粒体功能受损。铜死亡在多种肿瘤中扮演重要作用,但其与肝癌的关系尚不清楚。因此,本研究探讨铜死亡相关基因在肝癌中的表达特征,以及与肝癌预后及免疫浸润的关系。方法:从TCGA和GTEx数据库下载肝癌和正常肝脏组织转录组数据进行差异表达和突变分析。采用R语言“clusterProfiler”包进行GO和KEGG富集分析。采用LASSO、单因素和多因素回归分析筛选影响肝癌患者预后的基因并构建风险因子图。使用R包“rms”构建列线图。使用UALCAN数据库分析铜死亡相关基因与肝癌临床病理特征的关系并验证。使用Spearman相关性分析铜死亡相关基因与免疫细胞浸润和免疫检查点的相关性。采用TIMER2.0数据库分析铜死亡相关基因表达与肿瘤相关成纤维细胞(CAF)浸润的相关性,采用TISDB数据库分析CDKN2A和DLAT表达与髓源抑制性细胞(MDSC)浸润丰度的相关性。结果:与正常肝脏组织比较,9个铜死亡相关基因在肝癌中表达显著升高,CDKN2A突变频率最高。铜死亡相关基因主要参与蛋白质脂酰化、三羧酸循环、柠檬酸循环等生物过程。基于LASSO、单因素与多因素回归分析筛选出影响肝癌患者总体生存率(OS)的基因CDKN2A和DLAT,并以此构建风险因子图,时间依赖性受试者工作特征曲线显示其具有较好的预测能力。通过单因素和多因素回归分析筛选出CDKN2A、DLAT、T分期和肿瘤状态是影响肝癌患者OS的独立预后因素,基于上述因素构建了列线图,校正曲线显示该列线图预测和实际观察之间有很好的一致性。UALCAN数据库分析发现CDKN2A、DLAT与肝癌临床分期、肿瘤分级有关,且GEO数据库、HPA数据库及肝癌细胞中的验证结果与之一致。相关性分析显示,CDKN2A和DLAT表达与免疫细胞浸润和免疫检查点表达相关;TIMER2.0数据库分析显示,DLAT表达与CAF浸润明显正相关;TISDB数据库分析显示,CDKN2A和DLAT表达与MDSC浸润丰度无相关性。结论:铜死亡相关基因CDKN2A、DLAT可能是肝癌新的预后生物标志物和免疫治疗的新靶点。

为解决目前沼气工程存在的沼液处理难、现代农业化肥施用过量的问题,将不同稀释比例的沼液进行微生物菌剂预处理,获得不同浓度沼液液体肥,探究不同浓度沼液及其施用方式(叶面喷施和浇灌)对盆栽小白菜生长指标、光合指标和品质指标的影响。结果表明:(1)低浓度沼液通过叶面喷施可以促进小白菜的生长发育,施用稀释15~20倍的沼液效果最优;(2)高浓度沼液通过浇灌方式能够明显提高小白菜的各项生长品质指标,效果优于仅施尿素的化肥处理组,最佳施用方案为稀释1.5倍;(3)在相同氮素水平下,高浓度沼液浇灌对小白菜生长和品质的促进效果明显优于低浓度沼液叶面喷施。高浓度沼液具有可替代化肥的潜力,低浓度沼液可作为追肥施用,对作物养分起到一定的补充作用。利用微生物菌剂处理后的沼液液体肥栽培小白菜不仅可以显著提高其生长品质,还能够部分代替化肥施用,对农作物增收和保护环境都具有重要的现实意义。

The heritage and cultural values of ancient Chinese maps

Ancient Chinese cartography dates back to the Western Jin Dynasty in the third century. Cartography was initiated during this period by Pei Xiu, a minister and cartographic expert, who suggested six principles of cartography. Pei Xiu, who is known as the father of Chinese cartography, oversaw the completion of the ＂Yu Gong Regional Maps＂, along with 18 articles and the ＂Terrain Fangzhang Map＂（AD 224-271）. This led to a number of subsequent cartographic initiatives including the ＂Wooden Fangzhang Map＂（an administrative map） which was completed by Xie Zhuang, a minister during the Southern Dynasties （AD 502-557）＂Haineihuayi Tu＂（Map of China and its neighbouring countries）（AD 730-805）, drawn by Jia Dan, a cartographer of the Tang Dynasty, and ＂Shouling Tu＂（an administrative map, AD 1031-1095）, drawn by Shen Kuo, a scientist during the Northern Song Dynasty. Throughout the 16th century, ancient Chinese cartography developed continuously and cumulatively, and formed the specific characteristics of China ancient cartography. Although Western lati- tude-based and longitude-based mapping techniques introduced to China in AD 1460, the theories and methods of Chinese and Western mapping systems co-existed for over 400 years. The cultural heritage of Chinese cartography can be seen in many famous ancient Chinese maps, including astronomical figures and atlases （world, Chinese, regional, military, water conservancy, historical, and educational maps）, charts, and maps of scenic spots. These have hitherto been kept in well-known archives and institutions across the world. They form an important part of the global cultural heritage of ancient maps and cartography. Given their high cultural value, these maps remain an important point of study. This paper provides a preliminary discussion on the rarity, application, and the historical, scientific, and artistic value of ancient Chinese maps.

High quality In2S3 kinks were synthesized via a kinetically controlled thermal deposition process and their optoelectronic characteristics were systematically explored. The growth mechanism was attributed to the combination of kinetic dynamic, crystal fadal energy, and surface roughness. Two trap induced emission bands were evidenced via a low temperature cathodoluminescence （CL） study. Furthermore, the nanowire junctions demonstrated a degenerative photodetection performance, as compared to the straight arms, attributed to a stress-induced extra series resistance measured from the kinked area. The well-controllable shape of the inorganic nanostructures and the detailed exploration of their optoelectronic properties are particularly valuable for their further practical applications.

BACKGROUND： At present, as a therapeutic drug mainly for reducing fibrinogen （FIB） levels, the dynamic influence of defibrase on the FIB levels of patients with acute cerebral infarction has not been clearly ascertained. OBJECTIVE： To observe the dynamic changes in FIB levels of patients with acute cerebral infarction at different time points after taking defibrase. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING： Randomized controlled clinical trial. The study was conducted in the Department of Neurology, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, from June to November 2006. PARTICIPANTS： Sixty patients with acute cerebral infarction, who had been treated by the Neurological Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University from June to November 2006, were selected, including 37 males and 23 females, aged 35-75 years. All cases met the diagnostic criteria formulated by the Fourth National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference within 12 hours of onset. All the patients were confirmed with definite hemiparesis and cerebral infarction without coma, and were randomly divided into two groups： a treatment group （n =40） and a control group （n =20）. Patients＇ families had the right to be informed and agree with the treatment, which had permission from the Hospital Ethics Committee. METHODS： Patients in the control group were given routine treatment with 30 mL fleabane and 0.75 g cytidine diphosphate added to 500 mL saline solution once a day for 14 consecutive days. Patients in the treatment group were given routine treatment and Haiwang defibrase injection （purchased from Changchu Guoao Bio-Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Approval document number H10983237） within 12 hours of infarction. Defibrase doses of 15, 12.5 and 10 U were given over 2 hours according to the patients＇ pre-treatment plasma FIB levels of ≥ 4.50 g/L, 3.50 4.49 g/L and 1.00 3.49 g/L, respectively.
