BACKGROUND:The latest sepsis definition includes both infection and organ failure,as evidenced by the sequential organ failure assessment(SOFA)***,the applicability of the pediatric SOFA score(pSOFA)is not yet *** study evaluated the effectiveness of both pSOFA and system inflammatory reaction syndrome(SIRS)scores in predicting sepsis-related pediatric ***:This is a retrospective multi-center cohort study including hospitalized patients<18 years old with diagnosed or not-yet-diagnosed *** analyses were carried out to evaluate risk factors for in-hospital *** to Youden index(YI),three sub-categories of pSOFA were screened out and a new simplified pSOFA score(spSOFA)was *** effectiveness and accuracy of prediction of pSOFA,SIRS and spSOFA was retrieved from the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUROC)and Delong’s ***:A total of 1,092 participants were eligible for this study,and carried a 23.4%in-hospital mortality *** 24-h elevated pSOFA score(24 h-pSOFA),bloodstream infection,and mechanical ventilation(MV)requirement were major risk factors associated with sepsis-related *** AUROC analysis confirmed that the spSOFA provided good predictive capability in sepsis-related pediatric deaths,relative to the 24 h-pSOFA and ***:The pSOFA score performed better than SIRS in diagnosing infected children with high mortality ***,it is both costly and ***,therefore,proposed spSOFA to accurately predict patient outcome,without the ***,additional investigations,involving a large sample population,are warranted to confirm the conclusion of this study.

The effect of Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio and CaO content on the viscosity and structure of the CaO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-6MgO-1.5ZrO_(2)-1.5CeO_(2) slag was *** results show that with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) mass ratio,the viscous flow units within the slag gradually change from Si-O-Si to Al-O-Al and ***,the substitution of Al_(2)O_(3) for SiO_(2) leads to the transformation of Si-O bonds towards weaker Al-O bonds,which weaken the bond strength of the aluminosilicate networks,thus leading to a decrease in the viscosity of *** increase in CaO content effectively promotes the depolymerization of the aluminosilicate networks,resulting in a significant decrease in the viscosity of the *** slag with Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2) of 0.7-1.5 and CaO of 30 wt.%shows promise as the reference slag system for the Fe-collection smelting of spent automotive catalysts due to its good comprehensive performance.

This study examines the microstructure,mechanical properties （with a focus on room-temperature toughness）, and oxidation resistance of Ho-doped NbDSi based in-situ composites. The base alloy consists of the coarse primary Nb5Si3phase and the Nb5Si3+Nbss （Nb solid solution） eutectic cells. Ho doping influences the solidification path. When the Ho doping is higher than0.2 at%, the alloys transform into eutectic alloys. Ho can be solid-solved in trace amounts in the Nbss phase. However, most of Ho forms a stable Ho oxide phase, which alleviates oxygen contamination problem to some ***, the interface separation between Ho oxide and other phases reduces the plastic deformation ***, with 0.4 at%Ho doping, the KQvalue is18.03 MPa·m1/2, which is 31.1%higher than that of the base alloy. The strength of the Ho-doped alloys does not deteriorate with an increase in toughness. However, the large network-like Ho2O3in the 0.8Ho alloy causes a decrease in toughness and strength. In addition, the Ho oxide phase effectively blocks the inward oxygen *** 0.8 at%Ho doping, the oxidation mass gain per unit area is 10.16 mg·cm2, which is 39.7%lower than that of the base alloy.

The carbon nanotubes(CNTs) reinforced Al-Cu matrix composites were prepared by hot pressing sintering and hot rolling, and the effects of Cu content on the interfacial reaction between Al and CNTs, the precipitation behavior of Cu-containing precipitates, and the resultant mechanical properties of the composites were systematically investigated. The results showed that the increase of Cu content can not only increase the number and size of Cu-containing precipitate generated during the composite fabrication processes, but also promote the interfacial reaction between CNTs and Al matrix, leading to the intensified conversion of CNTs into Al_(4)C_(3). As a result, the composite containing 1 wt.% Cu possesses the highest strength, elastic modulus and hardness among all composites, due to the maintenance of the original structure of CNTs. Moreover, the increase of Cu content can change the dominant strengthening mechanisms for the enhanced strength of the fabricated composites.

Nowadays,data are more and more used for intelligent modeling and prediction,and the comprehensive evaluation of data quality is getting more and more attention as a necessary means to measure whether the data are usable or ***,the comprehensive evaluation method of data quality mostly contains the subjective factors of the evaluator,so how to comprehensively and objectively evaluate the data has become a bottleneck that needs to be solved in the research of comprehensive evaluation *** order to evaluate the data more comprehensively,objectively and differentially,a novel comprehensive evaluation method based on particle swarm optimization(PSO)and grey correlation analysis(GCA)is presented in this *** first,an improved GCA evaluation model based on the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution(TOPSIS)is ***,an objective function model of maximum difference of the comprehensive evaluation values is built,and the PSO algorithm is used to optimize the weights of the improved GCA evaluation model based on the objective function ***,the performance of the proposed method is investigated through parameter analysis.A performance comparison of traffic flow data is carried out,and the simulation results show that the maximum average difference between the evaluation results and its mean value(MDR)of the proposed comprehensive evaluation method is 33.24%higher than that of TOPSIS-GCA,and 6.86%higher than that of *** proposed method has better differentiation than other methods,which means that it objectively and comprehensively evaluates the data from both the relevance and differentiation of the data,and the results more effectively reflect the differences in data quality,which will provide more effective data support for intelligent modeling,prediction and other applications.

Recently,many efforts have been dedicated to construct artificial catalysts with enzyme-like ***,it is still a big challenge to endow artificial catalysts with specific substrate *** this study,we developed a facile strategy to construct a MIL-53(Fe)-based nanocatalyst with designable selectivity in the degradation of oxytetracycline(OTC).Through the Fe–O–P conjunction,oxytetracycline aptamer(OA)can be easily anchored on MIL-53(Fe)to provide the specific site for OTC *** verified that the obtained MIL-53(Fe)-Apt nanocatalyst displayed enhanced catalytic ability in the degradation of OTC,whereas obvious suppression toward other substrate *** performance therefore brings about an anticipated selectivity toward ***,we highlighted that the configuration of aptamers on MIL-53(Fe)can be modulated through varying conjunction ***–function analysis revealed that aptamer configuration affects the local concentration of substrate around catalytic site,which thus decides the catalytic performance toward *** work presented a facile and promising strategy for developing artificial catalysts with designable selectivity.
