AIM:To investigate the effects of the Chinese herbal decoction,yi-qi-zeng-Min-Tang(YQZMT),on insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic ***:Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into two dietary regiments by feeding either normal pellet diet(NPD) or high fat diet(HFD).Four weeks later,the HFD-fed rats were injected intraperitoneally with lowdose streptozotocin(STZ).Rats with non-fasting blood glucose level ≥ 16.67 mmol/L were considered type 2 diabetic and further divided into five subgroups:the type 2 diabetes model group,low-dose,medium-doseand high-dose YQZMT groups,and rosiglitazone ***-matched NPD-fed rats served as *** or rosiglitazone were administered for 8 *** glucose and insulin tolerance tests were performed before and after the treatment to measure the glucose tolerance and insulin *** levels of biochemical parameters,adipocytokines,such as tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),as well as free fatty acids(FFAs),were also ***:There was significant elevation of insulin resistance and serum levels of fasting glucose(12.82 ± 1.08 mmol/L vs 3.60 ± 0.31 mmol/L,P < 0.01),insulin(7197.36 ± 253.89 pg/mL vs 4820.49 ± 326.89 pg/mL,P < 0.01),total cholesterol(TC)(8.40 ± 0.49 mmol/L vs 2.14 ± 0.06 mmol/L,P < 0.01),triglyceride(2.24 ± 0.12 mmol/L vs 0.78 ± 0.05 mmol/L,P < 0.01),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-c)(7.84 ± 0.51 mmol/L vs 0.72 ± 0.04 mmol/L,P < 0.01) and decrease in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c)(0.57 ± 0.03 mmol/L vs 1.27 ± 0.03 mmol/L,P < 0.01) in the low-dose STZ and high-fat diet induced type 2 diabetic group when compared with the control *** of YQZMT induced dose-and timedependent changes in insulin resistance,glucose and lipid profile,and reduced levels of FFA,TNF-α and IL-6 in the type 2 diabetic *** the treatment,compared with the diabetic group,the insulin resistance was ameliorated in the high-dose YQZMT(2.82 g/100 g per day) group

Background：Pediatric emergency rooms （PERs） in Chinese hospitals are perpetually full of sick and injured children because of the lack of sufficiently developed community hospitals and low access to family *** aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical value of a new five-level Chinese pediatric emergency triage system （CPETS）,modeled after the Canadian Triage System and Acuity ***：In this study,we compared CPETS outcomes in our PER relative to those of the prior two-level *** who visited our PER before （January 2013-June 2013） and after （January 2014-June 2014） the CPETS was implemented served as the control and experimental group,*** flow,triage rates,triage accuracy,wait times （overall and for severe patients）,and patient/family satisfaction were compared between the two ***：Relative to the performance of the former system experienced by the control group,the CPETS experienced by the experimental group was associated with a reduced patient flow through the PER （Cox-Stuart test,t =0,P 〈 0.05）,a higher triage rate （93.40% vs.90.75%;χ^2 =801.546,P 〈 0.001）,better triage accuracy （96.32% vs.85.09%;χ^2 =710.904,P 〈 0.001）,shorter overall wait times （37.30 ± 13.80 min vs.41.60 ± 15.40 min;t =11.27,P 〈 0.001）,markedly shorter wait times for severe patients （2.07 [0.65,4.11] min vs.3.23 [1.90,4.36] min;z =-2.057,P =0.040）,and higher family satisfaction rates （94.23% vs.92.21%;x2 =321.528,P 〈 0.001）.Conclusions：Implementing the CPETS improved nurses＇ abilities to triage severe patients and,thus,to deliver the urgent treatments more *** system shunted nonurgent patients to outpatient care effectively,resulting in improved efficiency of PER health-care delivery.

Underwater image enhancement aims to restore a clean appearance and thus improves the quality of underwater degraded *** methods feed the whole image directly into the model for ***,they ignored that the R,G and B channels of underwater degraded images present varied degrees of degradation,due to the selective absorption for the *** address this issue,we propose an unsupervised multi-expert learning model by considering the enhancement of each color ***,an unsupervised architecture based on generative adversarial network is employed to alleviate the need for paired underwater *** on this,we design a generator,including a multi-expert encoder,a feature fusion module and a feature fusion-guided decoder,to generate the clear underwater ***,a multi-expert discriminator is proposed to verify the authenticity of the R,G and B channels,*** addition,content perceptual loss and edge loss are introduced into the loss function to further improve the content and details of the enhanced *** experiments on public datasets demonstrate that our method achieves more pleasing results in vision *** metrics(PSNR,SSIM,UIQM and UCIQE) evaluated on our enhanced images have been improved obviously.

Effects of formal credit on pastoral household expense: Evidence from the qinghai-Xizang Plateau of China

Formal credit is critical in agricultural production,allowing more expenditure and productive input,thereby improving farmers'*** pastoral China,formal financial institutions are gradually ***,a limited understanding remains of how formal credit affects herders'household *** on a survey of 544 herders from the qinghai-Xizang Plateau of China,this study adopted the propensity score matching approach to identify the effect of formal credit on herders'total household expenses,daily expenses,and productive *** results found that average age,grassland mortgage,and other variables significantly affected herders'participation in formal *** credit could significantly improve household expenses,especially productive expenses.A heterogeneity analysis showed that formal credit had a greater impact on the household total expense for those at higher levels of wealth;however,it significantly affected the productive expense of herders at lower wealth ***,the mediating effect indicated that formal credit could affect herders'household income,thus influencing their household ***,this study suggests that policies should improve herders'accessibility to formal credit.

Regulation of rhizosphere microenvironment by rice husk ash for reducing the accumulation of cadmium and arsenic in rice

It is important to reduce Cd and As content in brown rice in contaminated paddy *** conducted research on the effects of rice husk ash (RHA) on the Cd and As in the rhizosphere microenvironment (soil,porewater,and iron plaque) and measured the Cd,As,and Si content in rice *** main elements in RHA were Si (29.64%) and O (69.17%),which had the maximum adsorption capacity for Cd was 42.49 mg/kg and for As was 18.62 mg/*** pH and available Si content increased,while soil available Cd and As decreased following application of 0.5%–2%*** promote the transformation of Cd to insoluble fraction,while As was transformed from a poorly soluble form to a more active *** reduced Cd content and increased Si content in porewater,and reduced As only at the later rice growth *** increased the amount of iron plaque,thereby decreasing the Cd content in iron plaque,while increased the As content in *** and inorganic As content in brown rice were decreased,to 0.31 mg/kg and 0.18 mg/kg,*** decrease of Cd in brown rice was due to the decrease of Cd mobility in soil,thereby reducing root accumulation,while the decrease of As in brown rice was affected by the transport from roots to ***,RHA can be considered as a safe and efficient in-situ remediation amendment for Cd and As co-contaminated paddy soil.

Multi-UAVs Collaborative Path Planning in the Cramped Environment

Due to its flexibility and complementarity, the multiUAVs system is well adapted to complex and cramped workspaces, with great application potential in the search and rescue(SAR) and indoor goods delivery fields. However, safe and effective path planning of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)in the cramped environment is always challenging: conflicts with each other are frequent because of high-density flight paths, collision probability increases because of space constraints, and the search space increases significantly, including time scale, 3D scale and model scale. Thus, this paper proposes a hierarchical collaborative planning framework with a conflict avoidance module at the high level and a path generation module at the low level. The enhanced conflict-base search(ECBS) in our framework is improved to handle the conflicts in the global path planning and avoid the occurrence of local deadlock. And both the collision and kinematic models of UAVs are considered to improve path smoothness and flight safety. Moreover, we specifically designed and published the cramped environment test set containing various unique obstacles to evaluating our framework performance thoroughly. Experiments are carried out relying on Rviz, with multiple flight missions: random, opposite, and staggered, which showed that the proposed method can generate smooth cooperative paths without conflict for at least 60 UAVs in a few *** benchmark and source code are released in https://***/inin-xingtian/multi-UAVs-path-planner.
