Chemical additives affect sulfate reducing bacteria biofilm properties adsorbed on stainless steel 316L surface in circulating cooling water system

This paper studied the biofilm properties and corrosion behavior of sulfate reducing bacteria （SRB） on stainless steel 316L （SS316L） surface in circulating cooling water system with and without additives including hydroxy ethyl fork phosphonic acid （HEDP）, dodecyl dimethyl benzyl anunonium chlotide （1227） and NaClO. Biochemical technique, electrochemical technology, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） and scanning electron microscope （SEM） were used. The results show that the extracellular polymeric substance （EPS） in biofilm attached on the SS316L surface mainly contain proteins and polysaccharides, the contents are 98 ***-2 and ***-2, respectively. The polysaccharides were cut by 1227 about 80%, while 55% by NaCIO. The proteins were reduced by NaCIO about 53%, while only 30% by 1227. The potentiodynamic polarization shows that the corrosion potential of SS316L was enhanced from -0.495 V to -0.390 V by the chemical additive delaying the occurrence of the corrosion. And the corrosion rate was also reduced from 5.19 × 10^-3 mm·a^-1 to 2.42 × 10^-3 mm＇a . But NaCIO stdl caused pitting corrosion after stenhzmg the bacteria, while 1227 can form a protective film on the surface of SS316L. Though HEDP contribute to the bacteria activity, it can enhance the breakdown potential. XPS results confirmed that 1227 can change the value of C：O in the biofilm attached on metal surface, and NaCIO can eliminate the existence of amidogen. This study would provide some recommendations for the selection of chemical additives in the thermal power plant.

Orbital angular momentum(OAM)is a phenomenon of vortex phase distribution in free space,which has attracted enormous attention in theoretical research and practical application of wireless communication systems due to its characteristic of infinitely orthogonal ***,traditional methods generating OAM beams are bound to complex structure,large device,multiple layers,complex feed networks,and limited beams in microwave ***,a digital coding transmissive metasurface(DCTMS)with a single layer substrate and the bi-symmetrical arrow is proposed and designed to generate multi-OAM-beam based on Pancharatnam–Berry(PB)phase *** 3-bit phase response can be realized by encoding the geometric phase into rotation angle of unit cell for ***,the phase compensation of the metasurface is introduced to achieve the beam focusing and the conversion from spherical wave to plane *** to the digital convolution theorem,the far-field patterns and near-field distributions of multi-OAM-beam with l=–2 modes are adequately demonstrated by DCTMS *** OAM efficiency and the purity are calculated to demonstrate the excellent *** simulated and experimental results illustrate their performance of OAM *** designed DCTMS has profound application in multi-platform wireless communication systems and the multi-channel imaging systems.

A zeolite composite composed of ZSM-5 and β-zeolites has been synthesized by a procedure of the nucleation and crystallization of ZSM-5 zeolite in the hollow β-zeolite. The property of β-zeolite crystals with aluminum-poor interior and aluminum-rich outer rim results in silicon extraction favorably in the aluminum-poor bulk rather than the aluminum-rich external surface. Subsequently, alkaline treatment offl-zeolite crystals during the second-step synthesis leads to a preferential dissolution of the aluminum-poor center and the formation of hollow β-zeolite crystals. ZSM-5 zeolite crystals are therefore embedded and grown within the hollow β-zeolite. The catalytic activities of Co-Hβ, Co-HZSM-5 and Co-HZSM-5/BEA are investigated during the reaction of methane catalytic reduction NO in the presence of O2.

Let H be a Hopf π-coalgebra over a commutative ring k with bijective antipode S, and A and B right π-H-comodulelike algebras. We show that the pair of adjoint functors （F3 = A  Bop A□ HBop -,G3 = （-）coH） between the categories A□HBopM and AMπB-H is a pair of inverse equivalences, when A is a faithfully flat π-H-Galois extension. Furthermore, the categories Moritaπ-H（A,B） and Morita □π-H（AcoH,BcoH） are equivalent, if A and B are faithfully flat π-H-Galois extensions.

Objective：To investigate the relationship between postoperative metastasis and circulating levels of osteopontin in non-small cell lung cancer（NSCLC）.Methods：The expression of osteopontin mRNA were detected with RT-PCR *** circulating levels of osteopontin were measured through ELASA in 46 NSCLC cases that had not been received any anti-cancer treatment at the time of *** tissues from fifteen patients with benign pulmonary diseases were studied as control ***：The overall median mRNA expression level of osteopontin was approximately 70-fold higher in tumor tissues than in matched normal lung tissues（P0.001）.Over-expression of osteopontin mRNA was significantly associated with clinical stage（P=0.009）.Advanced disease states had higher circulating level of osteopontin（stage I＋II versus stage III＋VI）.In multivariate analysis,stage was the only independent factor influencing circulating levels of *** patients were followed up for 12 months,2 of the 46 patients with both osteopontin mRNA expression and elevated plasma osteopontin levels had local recurrence and 10 had distant *** was a significant difference in the osteopontin levels between metastasis group and non-metastasis ***：Preoperative plasma levels of osteopontin are significantly associated with post-operative metastasis in advanced NSCLC.

Previous studies have shown that Radix Ilicis Pubescentis total flavonoids have a neuroprotective effect, but it remains unclear whether Radix Ilicis Pubescentis total flavonoids have a synergistic effect with the recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor-mobilized bone marrow stem cell transplantation on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. Rat ischemia models were administered 0.3, 0.15 and 0.075 g/kg Radix Ilicis Pubescentis total flavonoids from 3 days before modeling to 2 days after injury. Results showed that Radix Ilicis Pubescentis total flavonoids could reduce pathological injury in rats with cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. The number of Nissl bodies increased, Bax protein expression decreased, Bcl-2 protein expression increased and the number of CD34-positive cells increased. Therefore, Radix Ilicis Pubescentis total flavonoids can improve the bone marrow stem cell mobilization effect, enhance the anti-apoptotic ability of nerve cells, and have a neuroprotective effect on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats.
