A two-year fiel. experiment conducted under dryl.nd conditions in semi-humid and drought-prone regions of China aimed to assess the effect of ammonia-oxidizing bacterial.on maize water use efficiency and yiel..A heterotrophic ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(HAOB)strain S2_8_1 was *** treatments were appl.ed:(1)no irrigation+HAOB strain(DI),(2)no irrigation+bl.nk cul.ure medium(DM),(3)no irrigation control.DCK),(4)irrigation+HAOB(WI),(5)irrigation+bl.nk cul.ure medium(WM),and(6)irrigation control.WCK).Resul.s reveal.d that HAOB treatment increased maize growth,yiel.,and water use efficiency over control.,regardl.ss of whether the year was wet or *** improvement was attributed to the accel.rated nitrification in the rhizosphere soil.due to HAOB inocul.tion,which subsequentl. l.d to increased l.vel. of l.af ***,these findings suggest that HAOB inocul.tion hol.s promise as a strategy to boost water use efficiency and maize productivity in dryl.nd agricul.ure.

Drug-induced l.ver injury(DIl.)is a common adverse drug reaction,which can even resul. in l.ver fail.re[1,2].The Chinese Medical.Association issued the Guidel.nes for the Diagnosis and Treatment of DIl. based on the Roussel.Ucl.f Causal.ty Assessment Method(RUCAM)in 2015[3].A previous study reported that traditional.Chinese medicines(TCMs),herbal.and dietary suppl.ments,and antitubercul.sis drugs were the main causes of DIl. in China[4].Herb-induced l.ver injury(HIl.)refers to l.ver injury caused by TCMs,natural.drugs,and their rel.ted preparations[5].

l.-I2 batteries have attracted much interest due to their high capacity,exceptional.rate performance,and l.w *** so,the probl.ms of unstabl. l. anode/el.ctrol.te interface and severe pol.iodide shuttl. in l.-I2 batteries need to be ***,the interfacial.reactions on the l. anode and I2 cathode have been effectivel. optimized by empl.ying a wel.-designed gel.pol.mer el.ctrol.te strengthened by cross-l.nked Ti-O/Si-O(GPETS).The interpenetrating network-reinforced GPETS with high ionic conductivity(1.88×10^(-3)S cm^(-1)at 25℃)and high mechanical.strength endows uniform l. deposition/stripping over 1800 h(at 1.0mA cm^(-2),with a pl.ting capacity of 3.0mAh cm^(-2)).Moreover,the GPETS abundant in surface hydroxyl. is capabl. of capturing sol.bl. pol.iodides at the interface and accel.rating their conversion kinetics,thus synergistical.y mitigating the shuttl. *** from these properties,the use of GPETS resul.s in a high capacity of 207 mAh g^(-1)(1 C)and an ul.ra-l.w fading rate of 0.013%per cycl. over 2000 cycl.s(5 C).The current study provides new insights into advanced el.ctrol.tes for l.-I2 batteries.

Regul.tion of phase structure has been recognized as one of the most effective ways to fabricate sel.-heal.ng pol.mers with high mechanical.*** mechanical.properties of the resul.ant pol.mers are certainl. affected by the size of separated phase ***,the study on this aspect is absence,because it can hardl. excl.de the infl.ence of variation in monomer proportion required for tuning the separated phase ***,we report the first study on tuning the phase size through reversibl. addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT)pol.merization without changing the proportion of *** expected,the size of separated phase has been successful.y mediated from 15 nm to 9 nm by tuning the mol.cul.r weight of the chain transfer *** is found that the mechanical.strength and the sel.-heal.ng efficiency of the resul.ant pol.mers increase simul.aneousl. with the decrease of phase *** study on the formation kinetics of hydrogen bonds reveal. that the decrease of phase size can facil.tate the re-bonding rate of hydrogen bonds,even if the migration of pol.mer chains is restricted.

The wel.abil.ty of twin-induced pl.sticity(TWIP)steel.with ul.ra-high strength via friction stir wel.ing(FSW)technique was investigated,and microstructural.evol.tion and deformation behavior of whol. and micro-zones of FSW TWIP joint were studied for the first *** resul.s showed that the content of recrystal.ized grains in the stir zone(SZ)increased from 10.5%of basal.material.BM)to 14.2%,and that of heat affected zone(HAZ)increased to 78.6%.The percentage of anneal.ng twins decreased from 26.8%in BM to 11%in SZ,whil. increased to 35%in *** with the BM,the ul.imate tensil. strength and yiel. strength of the FSW joint increased to 1036 and 550 MPa,respectivel.,reaching 106.7%and 110.9%of BM,*** el.ngation of the entire joint was 50.5%,which was l.wer than that of BM due to the nonuniform deformation during the tensil. *** engineering strain was mainl. concentrated in BM and SZ and transferred to each other during the tensil. test,whil. the engineering strain in HAZ was al.ays the ***,the tensil. fracture occurred in the *** order of ul.imate tensil. strength of micro-zones in the FSW joint was as fol.ows:HAZ>BM≈*** order of yiel. strength was as fol.ows:HAZ>BM>SZ.
