BACKGROUND In microwave ablation(MWA), although computed tomography(CT) scanning can overcome gas interference, it cannot achieve real-time localization. Therefore, the puncture technique is more important in CT-guided *** To compare the fine needle-assisted puncture(FNP) positioning technique and the conventional puncture(CP) technique for the safety and efficacy of CT-guided MWA in treating hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS This retrospective study included 124 patients with 166 tumor nodules from February 2018 and June 2021. Seventy patients received CT-guided MWA under the FNP technique(FNP group), and 54 patients received MWA under the CP technique(CP group). Intergroup comparisons were made regarding local tumor progression(LTP), recurrence-free survival(RFS), overall survival(OS), and complications. The influencing variables of LTP and RFS were analyzed through univariate and multivariate *** The 1-, 2-, and 3-year cumulative incidences of LTP in the FNP group were significantly lower than those in the CP group(7.4%, 12.7%, 21.3% vs 13.7%, 32.9%, 36.4%;P = 0.038). The 1-, 2-, and 3-year RFS rates in the FNP group were significantly higher than those in the CP group(80.6%, 73.3%, 64.0% vs 83.3%,39.4%, and 32.5%, respectively;P = 0.008). The FNP technique independently predicted LTP and RFS. Minor complications in the FNP group were lower than those in the CP group(P < 0.001). The difference in median OS was insignificant between the FNP and CP groups(P = 0.229).CONCLUSION The FNP technique used in CT-guided MWA may improve outcomes in terms of LTP, RFS, and procedure-related complications for HCC.

Copper nanowires(CuNWs)are promising electrode materials,especially for used in flexible and transparent electrodes,due to their advantages of earth-abundant,low-cost,high conductivity and ***,the poor stability of CuNWs against oxidation and chemic-al corrosion seriously hinders their practical ***,we propose a facile strategy to improve the chemical stability of CuNWs by in situ coating of carbon protective layer on top of them through hydrothermal carbonization *** influential factors on the growth of carbon film including the concentration of the glucose precursor(carbon source),hydrothermal temperature,and hydrothermal time are sys-tematically *** tailoring these factors,carbon layers with thickness of 3-8 nm can be uniformly grown on CuNWs with appropriate glucose concentration around 80 mg·mL−1,hydrothermal temperature of 160-170°C,and hydrothermal time of 1-3 *** as-prepared carbon-coated CuNWs show excellent resistance against corrosion and oxidation,and are of great potential to use broadly in various optoelectronic devices.

In this paper, a novel dual-activate hard segment strategy is proposed for the fabrication of polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) based supramolecular polymer(PDMS-PDITC-IPDI). The unique design endows the PDMS-PDITC-IPDI with high toughness(43.1–24.5 MJ/m^(3)), tensile strength(11.3–6.6 MPa) and elongation at break(730%–615%), and the mechanical properties and dynamic property can be regulated by varying degrees of hard segment activation. Moreover, the PDMS-PDITC-IPDI polymers exhibit excellent self-recovery property during successive loading-unloading processes. Additionally, both wettability damage caused by O2 plasma treatment and mechanical damage can be healed by simple heating, showing good hydrophobic recovery and selfhealability. Taking advantages of merits of the PDMS-PDITC-IPDI, the applications of the material as recyclable adhesive and 3D printing material are also investigated.

Aiming at the suppression of enemy air defense(SEAD)task under the complex and complicated combat sce-nario,the spatiotemporal cooperative path planning methods are studied in this *** major research contents include opti-mal path points generation,path smoothing and cooperative *** the path points generation part,the path points availability testing algorithm and the path segments availability testing algorithm are designed,on this foundation,the swarm intelligence-based path point generation algorithm is utilized to generate the optimal *** the path smoothing part,taking ter-minal attack angle constraint and maneuverability constraint into consideration,the Dubins curve is introduced to smooth the path *** cooperative rendezvous part,we take esti-mated time of arrival requirement constraint and flight speed range constraint into consideration,the speed control strategy and flight path control strategy are introduced,further,the decoupling scheme of the circling maneuver and detouring maneuver is designed,in this case,the maneuver ways,maneu-ver point,maneuver times,maneuver path and flight speed are ***,the simulation experiments are conducted and the acquired results reveal that the time-space cooperation of multiple unmanned aeriel vehicles(UAVs)is effectively real-ized,in this way,the combat situation suppression against the enemy can be realized in SEAD scenarios.

Owing to their low flexibility,poor processability and a lack of responsiveness,inorganic materials are usually non-ideal for constructing a living ***,to date,lifelike materials with structural hierarchies and adaptive properties usually rely on light and soft organic molecules,although few exceptions have been acquired using two-dimensional(2D)inorganic ***,with a systematic study on the gelation behavior of carbon-based 0D quantum dots,1D nanotubes,and 3D fullerenes,we find that acidified 1D carbon nanotubes(CNTs)can serve as an alternative building block for fabricating purely inorganic biomimetic soft *** as-prepared CNT gels exhibit not only a pH-or photothermal-triggered mechanical and tribological adaptivity,which allows them to simulate the behavior of sea cucumbers,peacock mantis shrimps,and mammalian muscles or cortical bones,but also a unique damping property that is similar to spider’s cuticular *** high elasticity,effective lubrication,excellent biocompatibility,and controllable friction and wear also allow them to function as a new type of smart lubricants,whose tribological properties can be regulated either by its internal pH changes or spatiotemporally by near-infrared(NIR)light irradiations,free of any toxic and flammable base oils or additives.

The thermal radiation of micron-sized condensed phase particles plays a dominant role during the heat transfer process in aluminized Solid Rocket Motors(SRMs).Open research mainly focuses on the radiative properties of alumina particles while the study considering the presence of aluminum is *** addition,the thermal radiation inside the SRM with consideration of the participating particles is seldom *** this work,the multiscale method of predicting the thermal environment inside SRMs is established from the particle radiation at microscale to the twophase flow and heat transfer at *** effective gray radiative properties of individual particles(alumina,aluminum,and hybrid alumina/aluminum)and particles cloud are investigated with the Mie theory and approximate *** a numerical method for predicting the thermal environment inside SRMs with considering particle radiation is established and applied in a subscale *** convective and radiative heat flux distributions along inner wall of motor are obtained,and it is found that the heat transfer in the combustion chamber is dominated by thermal radiation and the radiative heat flux is essentially a constant of 5.6–6.8 MW/m^(2).The convective heat transfer plays a dominant role in the nozzle and the heat flux reaches the maximum value of 11.2 MW/m^(2) near the *** the combustion efficiency of aluminum drops,the radiative heat flux remains unchanged in most regions and increases slightly along the diverging section wall of the nozzle.

In the domain of acidic water splitting,designing bifunctional catalysts that marry high activity with enduring stability is a formidable ***,we have constructed platinum-containing ruthenium oxide nanoparticles(Pt@RuO_(x)NPs)to achieve excellent overall water splitting performance in acidic ***@RuO_(x)NPs demonstrate exceptional catalytic activity for both the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in acidic seawater,requiring overpotentials of only 20 and 157 mV,respectively to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2).Furthermore,in 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4),this catalyst exhibits high HER(19 mV)and OER(236 mV)catalytic *** two-electrode water splitting system composed of bifunctional Pt@RuO_(x)NPs requires cell voltages of only 1.442 and 1.465 V to deliver a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2)in acidic seawater and 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4).Remarkably,this catalyst displays remarkable stability in the water splitting *** is shown that the introduction of Pt could augment oxygen vacancies and enhance catalytic activity *** synergy between Pt and Ru further contributes to the improved ***,we have observed that acidic seawater holds distinct advantages for acidic water splitting,along with a thorough exploration of the relationship between Cl^(-)concentration and catalytic *** study not only provides a strategy to improve the catalytic activity and stability of ruthenium-based catalysts for water splitting in acidic environments,but also unveils the promoting effect of Cl^(-)on the catalytic activity in acidic water splitting.
