Sedimentary architecture of submarine channel-lobe systems under different seafloor topography:Insights from the Rovuma Basin offshore East Africa

Seafloor topography plays an important role in the evolution of submarine ***,it is still not so clear how the shape of slope affects the three-dimensional(3-D)architecture of submarine *** this study,we analyze the effect of topography factors on different hierarchical lobe architectures that formed during Pliocene to Quaternary in the Rovuma Basin offshore East *** characterize the shape,size and growth pattern of different hierarchical lobe architectures using 3-D seismic *** find that the relief of the topographic slope determines the location of preferential deposition of lobe complexes and single *** the topography is irregular and presents topographic lows,lobe complexes first infill these *** lobes are deposited preferentially at positions with higher longitudinal(***-slope)slope *** the longitudinal slope becomes higher,the aspect ratio of the single lobes ***(***-slope)topography does not seem to have a strong influence on the shape of single lobe,but it seems to affect the overlap of single *** the lateral slope gradient is relatively high,the single lobes tend to have a larger overlap ***,as the average of lateral slope and longitudinal slope gets greater,the width/thickness ratio of the single lobe is smaller,*** tend to accumulate *** results demonstrate that the shape of slopes more comprehensively influences the 3-D architecture of lobes in natural deep-sea systems than previously other lobe deposits and analogue experiments,which helps us better understand the development and evolution of the distal parts of turbidite systems.

This paper presents a 3D seismic-based case study from the deep-water Niger Delta Basin to investigate sedimentary-tectonic interaction on growth sequence architecture within the thrust-related intraslope or piggyback basins. Gravitational contraction in the lower continental slope had yielded a series of thrust faults and associated folds in the study area, which formed several piggyback basins. These basins were filled by a suite of growth sequences with varying stratigraphic architecture. Analysis of the 3D seismic data recognized three primary seismic facies types respectively as: convergent, draping and chaotic, which contain seven subtypes. These facies types are combined to form different filling successions for convergent or chaotic growth sequences. The convergent growth sequences mainly occur in the deep section of basin fills during strong gravitational deformation, and always began with convergent-baselapping strata succeeded by convergent-thinning strata, representing pond-to-bypass transition in the ponded-basin accommodation space. The chaotic growth sequences mainly occur in the shallow section of basin fills in response to weak gravitational deformation, and usually began with debris-flow deposits succeeded by channel-levee complexes, reflecting dominant erosion-bypass processes in the slope accommodation space. A dynamic fill-andspill model considering relationship between episodic sedimentation rate and structural growth rate is proposed to explain the formative mechanisms of growth strata units and associated successions. Interaction between glaciation or deglaciation and sea-level change and gravitational deformation history are suggested to be the factor which resulted in the complex stratal stacking patterns, including progradational or retrogradational stacking patterns within convergent growth sequences, and progradational stacking patterns within chaotic growth sequences.

State-of-the-art model-driven Direction-Of-Arrival(DOA)estimation methods for multipath signals face great challenges in practical application because of the dependence on the precise multipath *** this paper,we introduce a framework,based on deep learning,for synchronizing perturbation auto-elimination with effective DOA estimation in multipath ***,a signal selection mechanism is introduced to roughly locate specific signals to spatial subregion via frequency domain filters and compressive sensing-based ***,we set the mean of the correlation matrix’s row vectors as the input feature to construct the spatial spectrum by the corresponding single network within the parallel deep capsule *** proposed method enhances the generalization capability to untrained scenarios and the adaptability to non-ideal conditions,e.g.,lower SNRs,smaller snapshots,unknown reflection coefficients and perturbational steering vectors,which make up for the defects of the previous model-driven *** are carried out to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method.

The title complex, potassium triethylenetetraaminehexaacetatodi [oxo-vanadium (Ⅳ)] hexahydrate K2[V2O2(ttha)]6(H2O), was synthesized in aqueous solution and its crystal structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction. The complex belongs to a triclinic system, space group P?with a = 6.645(1), b = 9.870(2), c = 13.263(3) ? a = 70.68(3), b = 76.27(3), g = 71.66(3), V = 770.5(3) 3, Mr = 808.58, Dc = 1.743 g/cm3, Z = 1, m = 0.968 mm-1, l(MoKa) = 0.71073 and F(000) = 416. The final R = 0.0465 and wR = 0.1091 for 2974 observed diffractions with I ≥ 2s(I). In the complex, the V atom is octahedrally coordinated to the oxo ligand, two N and three O atoms of the triethylenetetraaminehexaacetic (TTHA) ligand. All of the ten chelating sites are coordinated to the two vanadium atoms, and the coordination octahedron is distorted. Each [V2O2(ttha)]2- ion is further connected by the K+ ions through carboxyl groups of TTHA6- ion, forming a two dimensional network structure.

Dynamic WTA optimization model of air defense operation of warships' formation

WTA （weapon-target allocation） of air defense operation is a very complicated problem and current models focus on static and restricted WTA problem mostly. Based on the dynamic characteristics of air defense operational command and decision of warships＇ formation, a dynamic WTA model is established. Simulation results show that switch fire and repetition fire of anti-air weapon system affect the result of the air defense operation remarkably and the dynamic model is more satisfying than static ones. Related results are gained based on the analysis of the simulation results and the results are accordant with the intuitionistic tactical judgment. The model is some reference for the research of air defense C^3I system of warships＇ formation.

Characterization of a Purine Permease Family Gene OsPUP7 Involved in Growth and Development Control in Rice

In this study, PUP-type cytokinin transporter genes were identified in rice （Oryza sativa L.）. The Oryza sativa purine permease （OsPUP） family has 12 members that show similar predicted protein sequences with AtPUPs. To reveal the functions of OsPUP genes, we searched the T-DNA mutant library of rice and found one mutant for the member OsPUP7. The T-DNA insertion caused a new transcript that encodes a protein with 26 amino acids different from the native OsPUP7 at the C-terminus. The mutant showed multiple phenotypic changes including increased plant height, big seeds, and delayed flowering. The mutant also showed increased sensitivity to drought and salt stresses and treatments with kinetin and abscisic acid. OsPUP7is expressed mainly in the vascular bundle, pistil, and stamens. The measurement of cytokinins （CKs） showed that CK content in the mutant spikelets accumulated higher than that in the wild type. Moreover, uptake experiment in the yeast fcy2 mutant suggested that OsPUP7 has the ability to transport caffeine, a CK derivative. Our results indicate that the PUP transport system also exists in rice, and OsPUP7has an important role in the transport of CK, thus affecting developmental process and stress responses.
