Energy-saving and environmentally friendly photocatalysis has emerged as a popular research area in response to issues with energy scarcity and environmental *** to the unique layer-like structure,BiOX(Cl,Br,I)is frequently used in ***,inherent flaws in BiOX,such as an inappropriate band gap and low carrier separation efficiency,restrict its capacity for *** to the tunable grouping layer,alloying engineering is employed to optimize the intrinsic properties of BiOX and alloyed BiOX becomes a promising photocatalytic *** review describes the structure of BiOX,where tunable halogen layers provide favorable conditions for the implementation of alloying engineering to improve intrinsic *** article compares the effects and mechanisms of alloying engineering on the optimization of the energy band structure and carrier behavior of BiOX,and lists various modification methods used to improve the optimization of the intrinsic properties by alloying engineering,including defect engineering,morphology control as well as the synergy between alloying and other modification methods(bismuth-rich strategies,cation doping,construction of heterojunctions and plasma resonance effects).Subsequently,applications of alloyed BiOX in energy and environmental fields are summarized,including contaminant degradation,antibacterial,co_(2)reduction,nitrogen fixation and organic ***,we summarize the current challenges and future directions of alloyed *** is expected that this work will provide guidance and assistance for an in-depth study and understanding of the mechanisms of alloying engineering to optimize intrinsic properties and design alloyed BiOX with higher photocatalytic activity.

Phyllosphere microorganisms are a crucial component of environmental microorganisms,highly influenced by host characteristics,and play a significant role in plant health and ***,the impact of host characteristics on shaping phyllosphere microbial communities of plants with different life forms remains *** high-throughput sequencing technology,this study analyzed the diversity and community composition of phyllosphere epiphytic microorganisms(e.g.,bacteria and fungi)of various plant life forms in the hinterland of the gurbantunggut Desert,Northwest *** annotation of prokaryotic taxa(FAPROTAX)and fungi function guild(FUNguild)were employed to assess the ecological functions of microorganisms and to investigate the role of stochastic and deterministic processes in shaping phyllosphere microbial *** showed a diverse array of phyllosphere epiphytic microorganisms in the desert plants,with Proteobacteria,Cyanobacteria,and Actinobacteriota dominating bacterial community,while Ascomycota and Basidiomycota were prevalent in fungal *** across different plant life forms highlighted distinct microbial communities,indicating strong filtering effects by plant *** prediction identified intracellular parasites(accounting for 27.44%of bacterial community abundance),chemoheterotrophy(10.12%),and phototrophy(17.41%)as the main functions of epiphytic bacteria on leaves of different life form *** prediction indicated that phyllosphere epiphytic fungi primarily served as Saprotrophs(81.77%),Pathotrophs(17.41%),and Symbiotrophs(0.82%).co-occurrence network analysis demonstrated a predominance of positive correlations among different microbial ***-Crick dissimilarity index analysis revealed that deterministic processes predominantly influenced phyllosphere bacterial and fungal community *** partitioning analysis and random forest modeling suggested that pla

A new centrality measure based on neighbor loop structure for network dismantling

Nearly all real-world networks are complex networks and usually are in danger of ***,it is crucial to exploit and understand the mechanisms of network attacks and provide better protection for network *** dismantling aims to find the smallest set of nodes such that after their removal the network is broken into connected components of sub-extensive *** overcome the limitations and drawbacks of existing network dismantling methods,this paper focuses on network dismantling problem and proposes a neighbor-loop structure based centrality metric,NL,which achieves a balance between computational efficiency and evaluation *** addition,we design a novel method combining NL-based nodes-removing,greedy tree-breaking and ***,we compare five baseline methods with our algorithm on ten widely used real-world networks and three types of model networks including Erd€os-Renyi random networks,Watts-Strogatz smallworld networks and Barabasi-Albert scale-free networks with different network generation *** results demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms most peer methods by obtaining a minimal set of targeted attack ***,the insights gained from this study may be of assistance to future practical research into real-world networks.

A new liquid membrane diffusion model for characterizing the adsorption kinetics of europium by using a continuous measurement of adsorption platform

To explore the kinetic adsorption under continuous and nonequilibrium states, an integration of continuous measurement and adsorption platform kinetics method was proposed, which was initially called the ICM-AP kinetics method, and a corresponding kinetic adsorption experimental method was developed. Adsorption experiments of europium(Eu) on Ca-bentonite,Na-bentonite, and the D231 cation exchange resin were performed using the ICM-AP kinetics method and continuous measurements. Because the kinetic experimental results observed in this study were different from those of traditional batch adsorption data, pseudo-first-order or pseudo-second-order kinetic models were unsuitable for fitting the experimental ***, a liquid membrane diffusion(LMD) model was developed based on the assumption of simultaneous adsorption/desorption to discuss the mechanism of kinetic adsorption. The kinetic adsorption mechanism was also studied by using *** results indicated that the proposed adsorption model can fit the experimental data more suitably, and the adsorption/desorption behaviors of Eu on bentonite and the D231 resin were simultaneously observed, suggesting that the adsorption kinetics of Eu(Ⅲ) was mainly dominated by hydrated Eu(Ⅲ) ions on the liquid membrane.

Review on heat-to-power conversion technologies for hypersonic vehicles

Visual experimental study of nanofluids application to promote co_(2) absorption in a bubble column

The addition of dispersed-phase nanoparticles in the liquid phase can enhance the gas-liquid transfer process as the suspended nanoparticles affect the transfer process inside the fluid through microdisturbance or micro-convection *** this article,a high-speed digital camera was used to visualize the bubble behavior of co_(2) in pure water and nanofluids to examine the effects of co_(2) gas flow rate,nanoparticle solid content and type on the bubble behavior in the *** co_(2) absorption performance in three water-based nanofluids were compared in a *** the mass transfer characteristics during co_(2) bubble absorption and the reasons for the enhanced gas-liquid mass transfer effect of nanoparticles were *** results showed that the presence of nanoparticles affected the formation process of bubbles in the fluid,shortened the bubble detachment time,reduced the detachment diameter,effectively increased the gas-liquid contact area,and improved the bubbles detachment *** system with MCM-41 corresponded to a higher overall mass transfer *** MCM-41 contained surfactant that enhanced foaming behavior in *** prevented the transfer of co_(2) to some extent,and the co_(2) absorption by uncalined MCM-41/H_(2)O was 5.34%higher than that by pure *** with SiO_(2) nanoparticles with the same particle size and the same composition,MCM-41 had a higher adsorption capacity and better hydrophilicity due to its larger specific surface area and rich porous structure,which was more favorable to accelerate the collision between nanoparticles and co_(2) bubbles to cause *** the condition of 0.1%(mass)solid content,the enhancement of co_(2) absorption process by MCM-41 nanoparticles was more significant and improved by 16.9%compared with pure water.

Deformation-based longitudinal equivalent stiffness beam model for shield tunnel and its application in seismic deformation method

In the longitudinal seismic deformation method for shield tunnels,one of the most commonly used is the longitudinal equivalent stiffness beam model(LES)for simulating the mechanical behavior of the *** this model,axial deformation and bending deformation are independent,so the equivalent stiffness is a constant ***,the actual situation is that axial deformation and bending deformation occur simultaneously,which is not considered in *** present,we are not clear about the effect on the calculation results when axial deformation and bending deformation occur ***,in this paper,we improve the traditional LES by taking the relative deformation as a load and considering the coordinated deformation of axial and bending degrees of *** improved model is called DNLES,and its neutral axis equations are an explicit ***,we propose an iterative algorithm to solve the calculation model of the DNLES-based longitudinal seismic deformation *** a calculation example,we find that the internal forces based on LES are notably underestimated than those of DNLES in the compression bending zone,while are overestimated in the tension bending *** considering the combined effect,the maximum bending moment reached 13.7 times that of the LES model,and the axial pressure and tension were about 1.14 and 0.96 times,*** analysis reveals the coordinated deformation process in the axial and bending directions of the shield tunnel,which leads to a consequent change in equivalent *** explains why,in the longitudinal seismic deformation method,the traditional LES may result in unreasonable calculation results.

A robust viscoelastic surfactant tolerating 20% HCl up to 150℃ for oil well stimulation

Viscoelastic surfactants(VES)are often used as viscous diverters in acidizing stimulation to prolong the acid consumption time and maximize zonal coverage of the acid for improving well ***,the ceiling temperature of commercial VES cannot exceed 120℃in practical use because of the poor thermal stability and fragile molecular structure,hindering their implementation in hightemperature oil reservoirs,i.e.,≥150℃.Here we synthesized a novel C22-tailed diamine,N-erucaminopropyl-N,N-dimethylamine(EDPA),and examined comparatively its rheological behavior,assemblies morphology and molecular stability in 20 wt%HCl with a commercial VES,erucyl dimethyl amidopropyl betaine(EDAB).The feasibility of EDPA for acidizing stimulation was assessed by acid etching of carbonate rock with its HCl solution at 150℃.Rheological results showed that the 2.5 wt%EDPA—20 wt%HCl solution maintains stable viscosity of 90 m Pa s at 150℃for 60 min,while that of 2.0 wt%EDAB HCl solution is just 1 m Pa s under identical conditions.1H NMR spectra and cryo-TEM observations revealed that the chemical structure and self-assembled architectures of EDPA remained intact in such context,but the EDAB suffered from degradation due to the hydrolysis of the amide group,accounting for the poor heat-resistance and *** reaction rate of 2.5 wt%EDPA HCl solution with carbonate rock was one order of magnitude lower than that of 20 wt%HCl solution at 150℃,underpinning the potential of EDPA to be used in the high-temperature reservoirs *** work improved the thermal tolerance of VES in highly concentrated HCl solution,paving a feasible way for the acidization of high-temperature reservoir environments(~150℃).
