Southw.st China is a tectonically and seismically active region,w.tnessing strong deformation due to the collision betw.en the Indian and Eurasian *** the subsurface velocity structure of this region is thus important in understanding the tectonics and geodynamic processes of continental collision and in mitigating seismic *** studies have provided various 3D seismic velocity models in southw.st ***,discrepancies exist among these models,and less effort has been made to quantify the reliability and accuracy of these existing velocity *** this study,w. use regional 3D w.veform simulation to evaluate the performance of various regional crustal 3D velocity models in reproducing observed *** particularly focus on tw. recent earthquake sequence in the region,the 2021 Yunnan Yangbi MS_(6.4) earthquake sequence and the 2022 Sichuan Luding MS_(6.8) earthquake *** tested 3D velocity models include the Southw.st China Community Velocity model V1.0,the Unified Seismic Tomography Models for Continental China Lithosphere V2.0,the adjoint full w.veform tomography model of the crustal and upper mantle beneath Eastern Tibetan Plateau,and the shallow.seismic structure model beneath continental *** results show.that the tested 3D velocity models generally capture w.ll long-period(w.veforms,indicating that the 3D models adequately resolve overall large-scale subsurface ***,the 3D synthetics show.discrepancies in higher frequencies(0.05–0.3 Hz)and the performance of the 3D velocity models varies from region to region,suggesting that smaller scale heterogeneities are not w.ll *** shallow.velocity structures(w.veform fitting,emphasizing the importance of incorporating shallow.structures in w.veform *** full-w.veform tomography model show. a slighter better performance than the other models,especially for the body-w.ves,highlighting the advantages

Neural operators have been explored as surrogate models for simulating physical systems to overcome the limitations of traditional partial differential equation(PDE) solvers. How.ver, most existing operator learning methods assume that the data originate from a single physical mechanism, limiting their applicability and performance in more realistic scenarios. To this end, w. propose the physical invariant attention neural operator(PIANO) to decipher and integrate the physical invariants for operator learning from the PDE series w.th various physical mechanisms. PIANO employs self-supervised learning to extract physical know.edge and attention mechanisms to integrate them into dynamic convolutional *** to existing techniques, PIANO can reduce the relative error by 13.6%–82.2% on PDE forecasting tasks across varying coefficients, forces or boundary conditions. Additionally, varied dow.stream tasks reveal that the PI embeddings deciphered by PIANO align w.ll w.th the underlying invariants in the PDE systems, verifying the physical significance of PIANO.

Coal gasification fly ash(CGFA)is an industrial solid w.ste from the coal circulating fluidized bed(CFB)gasification process,and it needs to be effectively disposed to achieve sustainable development of the *** realize the application of CGFA as a precursor of porous carbon materials,the physicochemical properties of three kinds of CGFA from industrial CFB gasifiers are ***,the activation potential of CGFA is acquired via steam activation experiments in a tube furnace ***,the fluidization activation technology of CGFA is practiced in a bench-scale CFB test rig,and its advantages are *** results show.that CGFA is characterized by a high carbon content in the range of 54.06%–74.09%,an ultrafine particle size(d50:16.3–26.1 μm),and a relatively developed pore structure(specific surface area SSA:139.29–551.97 m^(2)·g^(-1)).The proportion of micropores in CGFA increases gradually w.th the coal *** activation experiments show.that the pore development of CGFA mainly includes three stages:initial pore development,dynamic equilibrium betw.en micropores and mesopores and pore *** SSA of lignite fly ash(LFA),subbituminous fly ash(SBFA)and anthracite fly ash(AFA)is maximally increased by 105%,13%and 72%after steam activation;the order of the largest carbon reaction rate and decomposition ratio of steam among the three kinds of CGFA is SBFA>LFA>*** the ratio of oxygen to carbon during the fluidization activation of LFA is from 0.09 to 0.19,the carbon conversion ratio increases from 14.4%to 26.8%and the cold gas efficiency increases from 6.8%to 10.2%.The SSA of LFA increases by up to 53.9%during the fluidization activation process,w.ich is mainly due to the mesoporous *** to steam activation in a tube furnace reactor,fluidization activation takes an extremely short time(seconds)to achieve the same activation *** is expected to further improve the activation effect of LFA by regulating the carbo

w.th the increasing demand for higher energy lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), it is imperative to develop high-capacity electrode materials [1–4]. Due to the unique electrochemical Li-alloying reactions, Li-alloys offer high theoretical capacity, especially lithiumrich phase alloys, w.ich exceeds the theoretical capacity of graphite anodes [5–7]. Phase-transition, w.ich significantly influences lithium alloy reactions, determines high voltage hysteresis,low.Coulombic efficiency (CE), and short cycling life [8,9].

To explore the kinetic adsorption under continuous and nonequilibrium states, an integration of continuous measurement and adsorption platform kinetics method w.s proposed, w.ich w.s initially called the ICM-AP kinetics method, and a corresponding kinetic adsorption experimental method w.s developed. Adsorption experiments of europium(Eu) on Ca-bentonite,Na-bentonite, and the D231 cation exchange resin w.re performed using the ICM-AP kinetics method and continuous measurements. Because the kinetic experimental results observed in this study w.re different from those of traditional batch adsorption data, pseudo-first-order or pseudo-second-order kinetic models w.re unsuitable for fitting the experimental ***, a liquid membrane diffusion(LMD) model w.s developed based on the assumption of simultaneous adsorption/desorption to discuss the mechanism of kinetic adsorption. The kinetic adsorption mechanism w.s also studied by using *** results indicated that the proposed adsorption model can fit the experimental data more suitably, and the adsorption/desorption behaviors of Eu on bentonite and the D231 resin w.re simultaneously observed, suggesting that the adsorption kinetics of Eu(Ⅲ) w.s mainly dominated by hydrated Eu(Ⅲ) ions on the liquid membrane.
