Transcriptome Analysis of Heterosis in Survival in the Hybrid Progenies of‘Haida No.1’and Orange-Shelled Lines of the Pacific Oyster Crassostrea gigas

Heterosis has been exploited to enhance the yield and adaptability in various shellfish species;how.ver,the molecular basis of it remains *** Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas is one of the most economically important aquaculture species,and its productive traits can be improved by ***,an intraspecific cross betw.en orange shell(O,10th generation)and‘Haida No.1’(H,13th generation)of *** w.s performed to assess the heterosis of survival *** rates of hybrid family(OH)and inbred families(HH and OO)w.re compared at larval stage,and eyed-pediveliger larvae of three families w.re subjected to transcriptome *** analysis results of best-parent heterosis and mid-parent heterosis show.d that the hybrid family exhi-bited a high heterosis in survival relative to the parental *** OH-M(OH ***)and OH-P(OH ***)had 425 and 512 dif-ferentially expressed genes(DEGs),*** enrichment analysis of these DEGs revealed that the significantly enrich-ed genes function in virion binding,C-type lectin receptor signaling pathw.y,cellular defense response and other immune-related pro-cesses,w.ich involves perlucin-like protein,CD209 antigen-like protein,ZNFX1,caspase-3 and acan *** differentially ex-pressed genes in OH-M and OH-P,together w.th the immune-related processes mentioned above may play an important role in the larval survival of *** addition,three genes(CYP450,fucolectin and perlucin-like)are associated w.th the orange shell and low.survival of maternal oyster *** findings provide support for the application of hybrid w.th superior survival and w.ll facilitate the understanding of heterosis formation in the Pacific oyster.

Particle Distribution Informed by Chain Rigidity in Diblock Copolymer Melts: The Effect of Entropy

w. study the effect of chain rigidity on tailoring the nanoparticle locations for neutral and selective particles embedded in the lamellar morphology formed by semiflexible diblock copolymer chains using self-consistent field calculations. The nanoparticles are modeled through a cavity function, and the semiflexible chains are represented by the continuous Kratsky-Porod chain model. In general situation, the nanoparticles prefer to stay at the interface in order to reduce the interface areas and thus the system free energy. How.ver, the particle distribution at the domain center is subtle, and the underlying physics is intrinsically different depending on the polymer flexibility. In the case of flexible chains, the entropy just contributes a constant shift to the free energy w.en the nanoparticles move around the domain center indicating that the local metastable state if appears at the domain center is w.olly attributed to the local minimum in the enthalpy. If the polymers are rigid, the variation of the particle distribution at the domain center has a close relation w.th the polymer rigidity and nanoparticle size. In the case of strongly rigid polymers w.th small nanoparticles, a nearly uniform particle distribution at the domain center is observed, w.ile in other cases, a local enhancement of particle distribution there is found. In contrast to the case of flexible chains, further analysis reveals the crucial role of entropy in controlling the shape of particle distributions at the phase domain. Specifically, the local metastable state appears in the domain center is determined by the large entropy there w.ich arises from the w.ak coupling of bond orientations that allow. the polymer chains to be relatively relaxed. w.en the particle becomes selective, its distribution in the phase domain exhibits a shift almost uniformly rather than changes its profile, and the underlying physics still holds. A Fibonacci View.on the Galois NFSR Used in Trivium

Trivium is an international standard of lightw.ight stream ciphers(ISO/IEC 29192-3:2012).In this paper,the Trivium-like NFSRs,a class of Galois NFSRs generalized from the Galois NFSR of Trivium,are studied from the perspective of Fibonacci *** is show. that an n-stage Trivium-like NFSR cannot be equivalent to an n-stage Fibonacci NFSR,w.ich is proved by show.ng the existence of“collision initial states”.As an intermediate conclusion,a necessary and sufficient condition for a kind of linear degeneracy of a Trivium-like NFSR is obtained from the persepective of interleaved ***,the smallest stage number of a Fibonacci NFSR that can generate all the output sequences of an n-stage Trivium-like NFSR is show. to be greater than n-7 and this value is no less than 371=287+min{93,84,111}specifically for the 288-stage Galois NFSR used in *** results contradict the existence of a equivalent Fibonacci model of Trivium NFSR of small stage,w.ich implies that Trivium algorithm possesses a fair degree of immunity against“structure attack”.

Oily w.stew.ter from ocean oil spills endangers marine ecosystems and human health. Therefore, developing an effective and sustainable solution for separating oil-w.ter mixtures is urgent. Interfacial solar photothermal evaporation is a promising approach for the complete separation of tw.-phase mixtures using only solar energy. Herein, w. report a carbonized w.od-based absorber w.th Janus structure of comprising a hydrophobic top-layer and an oleophobic bottom-layer for simultaneous solar-driven oil-w.ter separation and electricity generation. Under sunlight irradiation, the rapid evaporation of seaw.ter w.ll induce a separation of oil-w.ter mixtures, and cause a high salt concentration region underlying the interface, w.ile the bottom “bulk w.ter” maintains in a low.salt concentration, thus forming a salinity gradient. Electricity can be generated by salinity gradient pow.r. Therefore, oil-w.ter separation efficiency of > 99% and derived extra electricity pow.r of ~0.1 w.m2 is achieved under solar radiation, demonstrating the feasibility of oil-w.ter separation and electricity production synchronously directly using solar energy. This w.rk provides a green and cost-effective path for the separation of oil-w.ter mixtures.

Comprehensive Evaluation Method for Traffic Flow.Data Quality Based on Grey Correlation Analysis and Particle Sw.rm Optimization

Now.days,data are more and more used for intelligent modeling and prediction,and the comprehensive evaluation of data quality is getting more and more attention as a necessary means to measure w.ether the data are usable or ***,the comprehensive evaluation method of data quality mostly contains the subjective factors of the evaluator,so how.to comprehensively and objectively evaluate the data has become a bottleneck that needs to be solved in the research of comprehensive evaluation *** order to evaluate the data more comprehensively,objectively and differentially,a novel comprehensive evaluation method based on particle sw.rm optimization(PSO)and grey correlation analysis(GCA)is presented in this *** first,an improved GCA evaluation model based on the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution(TOPSIS)is ***,an objective function model of maximum difference of the comprehensive evaluation values is built,and the PSO algorithm is used to optimize the w.ights of the improved GCA evaluation model based on the objective function ***,the performance of the proposed method is investigated through parameter analysis.A performance comparison of traffic flow.data is carried out,and the simulation results show.that the maximum average difference betw.en the evaluation results and its mean value(MDR)of the proposed comprehensive evaluation method is 33.24%higher than that of TOPSIS-GCA,and 6.86%higher than that of *** proposed method has better differentiation than other methods,w.ich means that it objectively and comprehensively evaluates the data from both the relevance and differentiation of the data,and the results more effectively reflect the differences in data quality,w.ich w.ll provide more effective data support for intelligent modeling,prediction and other applications.

An extended state observer w.th adjustable bandw.dth for measurement noise

In this paper,a bandw.dth-adjustable extended state observer(ABESO)is proposed for the systems w.th measurement *** is know. that increasing the bandw.dth of the observer improves the tracking speed but tolerates noise,w.ich conflicts w.th observation ***,w. introduce a bandw.dth scaling factor such that ABESO is formulated to a 2-degree-of-freedom *** observer gain is determined and the bandw.dth scaling factor adjusts the bandw.dth according to the tracking *** the tracking error decreases,the bandw.dth decreases to suppress the noise,otherw.se the bandw.dth does not *** is proven that the error dynamics are bounded and converge in finite *** relationship betw.en the upper bound of the estimation error and the scaling factor is *** the scaling factor is less than 1,the ABESO has higher estimation accuracy than the linear extended state observer(LESO).Simulations of an uncertain nonlinear system w.th compound disturbances show.that the proposed ABESO can successfully estimate the total disturbance in noisy *** mean error of total disturbance of ABESO is 15.28% low.r than that of LESO.

In this paper,a novel adaptive Fault-Tolerant Control(FTC)strategy is proposed for non-minimum phase Hypersonic Vehicles(HSVs)that are affected by actuator faults and parameter *** strategy is based on the output redefinition method and Adaptive Dynamic Programming(ADP).The intelligent FTC scheme consists of tw. main parts:a basic fault-tolerant and stable controller and an ADP-based supplementary *** the basic FTC part,an output redefinition approach is designed to make zero-dynamics stable w.th respect to the new.***,Ideal Internal Dynamic(IID)is obtained using an optimal bounded inversion approach,and a tracking controller is designed for the new.output to realize output tracking of the nonminimum phase HSV *** the ADP-based compensation control part,an ActionDependent Heuristic Dynamic Programming(ADHDP)adopting an actor-critic learning structure is utilized to further optimize the tracking performance of the HSV control ***,simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed FTC algorithm.

A systematic COSMO-RS study on mutual solubility of ionic liquids and C6-hydrocarbons

w.en considering the usage of ionic liquids(ILs)for reactions and separations involving non-polar or w.ak-polar hydrocarbons,the know.edge of the mutual solubility behaviors of ILs and hydrocarbons is of the utmost *** this w.rk,taking four typical C6-hydrocarbons namely benzene,cyclohexene,cyclohexane,and hexane as representatives,the mutual solubility of ILs and non-polar or w.ak-polar hydrocarbons are systematically studied based on the COSMO-RS *** reliability of COSMO-RS for these systems is first evaluated by comparing experimental and predicted hydrocarbon-in-IL activity coefficient at infinite dilution and binary/ternary liquid-liquid equilibria of related ***,the mutual solubility of the four hydrocarbons and13,650 ILs(composed by 210 cations and 65 anions)are *** effect of different IL structural characteristics including alkyl chain length,cation family/symmetry/functional group,and anion on the IL-hydrocarbon mutual solubility behaviors are further analyzed by the analyses of interaction energy and screen charge *** mutual solubility databases and the structural effects identified thereon could provide useful guidance for IL selection in related applications.
