Angiogenesis is a crucial process in the development of inflammatory diseases,including cancer,psoriasis and rheumatoid ***,several alkaloids from Picrasma quassioides had been screened for angiogenic activity in the zebrafish model,and the results indicated that 1-methoxycarbony-β-carboline(MCC) could effectively inhibit blood vessel *** this study,we further confirmed that MCC can inhibit,in a concentration-dependent manner,the viability,migration,invasion,and tube formation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) in vitro,as well as the regenerative vascular outgrowth of zebrafish caudal fin in *** the zebrafish xenograft assay,MCC inhibited the growth of tumor masses and the metastatic transplanted DU145 tumor *** proteome profile array of the MCC-treated HUVECs showed that MCC could down-regulate several angiogenesis-related self-secreted proteins,including ANG,EGF,b FGF,GRO,IGF-1,PLG and *** addition,the expression of two key membrane receptor proteins in angiogenesis,TIE-2 and u PAR,were also down-regulated after MCC *** together,these results shed light on the potential therapeutic application of MCC as a potent natural angiogenesis inhibitor via multiple molecular targets.

The neutral particle analyzer(NPA)is one of the crucial diagnostic devices in a Tokamak *** stripping unit is one of the main parts of the NPA.A windowless gas-stripping room with two differential pipes has been constructed in a parallel electric and magnetic fields(E//B)*** pressure distributions in the stripping chamber are simulated by ANSYS Fluent together with MolFlow+.Based on the pressure distributions obtained from the simulation,the stripping efficiency of the E//B NPA is studied using *** reaction physics is modified to track the charge state of each particle in a cross-section-based method in *** transmission rates(R)and stripping efficiencies f_(+1)are examined for particle energies ranging from 20 to 200 keV with the input pressure(P_(0)),ranging from 20 to 400 *** to the combined global efficiency,R×f_(+1),P_(0)=240 Pa is obtained as the optimum pressure for the maximum global efficiency in the incident energy range investigated.

More and more high dams have been constructed and operated in China. The total dissolved gas （TDG） supersaturation caused by dam discharge leads to gas bubble disease or even death of fish, Through a series of experiments, the conditions and requirements of supersaturated TDG generation were examined in this study. The results show that pressure （water depth）, aeration, and bubble dissolution time are required for supersaturated TDG generation, and the air-water contact area and turbulence intensity are the main factors that affect the generation rate of supersaturated TDG. The TDG supersaturation levels can be reduced by discharging water to shallow shoals downstream of the dam or using negative pressure pipelines. Furthermore, the TDG supersaturation levels in stilling basins have no direct relationship with those in reservoirs. These results are of great importance for further research on the prediction of supersaturated TDG generation caused by dam discharge and aquatic protection.

The genes of the major histocompatibility complex(MHC) encode cell surface proteins that are essential for adaptive immunity. MHC genes show the most prominent genetic diversity in vertebrates,reflecting the adaptation of populations to their evolving environment, population survival and reproduction. In the present study, we used nextgeneration sequencing(NGS) to study the loci polymorphism of exon 3 of the MHC class Ⅰ genes in an ovoviviparous skink, the many-lined sun skink,Eutropis multifasciata and five other species of Scincidae, to quantify genetic variation. In addition,we genotyped the same MHC class Ⅰ genes of *** using clone sequencing, to directly compare the effectiveness of both analytical techniques for MHC genotyping. NGS detected 20MHC class Ⅰ alleles in E. multifasciata, and 2 to 15 alleles in the other five Scincidae species. However,clone sequencing detected only 15 of those MHC class Ⅰ alleles in E. multifasciata. In addition, transspecies polymorphism of MHC class Ⅰ genes was studied by constructing a phylogenetic tree using the gene sequences obtained by NGS. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that MHC class I alleles were shared among different species of Scincidae with trans-species polymorphism, and did not exhibit specific genealogical inheritance. These results have important implications for understanding polymorphism interspecies diversity in the MHC genes of Scincidae, and the evolution of the MHC more broadly.
