Precambrian Tectonic Affinity of the Southern Langshan Area, Northeastern Margin of the Alxa Block: Evidence from Zircon U-Pb Dating and Lu-Hf Isotopes

The Alxa Block is the westernmost part of the North China Craton(NCC), and is regarded as one of the basement components of the NCC. Its geological evolution is of great significance for the understanding of the ***, the Precambrian basement of the Alxa Block is still poorly studied. In this study, we present new in situ LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb and Lu-Hf isotope data from the Diebusige Metamorphic Complex(DMC) which located in the eastern Alxa Block. Field and petrological studies show that the DMC consists mainly of metamorphic supracrustal rocks and minor metamorphic plutonic rocks and has experienced amphibolite-granulite facies metamorphism. Zircon U-Pb dating results suggested that the amphibolite sample yields a crystallization age of 2636 ± 14 Ma and metamorphic ages of 2517–2454 Ma and 1988–1952 Ma, proving the existence of exposed Archean rocks in the Langshan area and indicating that late Neoarchean to Paleoproterozoic metamorphic events existed in the Alxa Block. Two paragneiss samples show that the magmatic detrital zircons from the DMC yield 207Pb/206Pb ages ranging from 2.48 Ga to 2.10 Ga with two youngest peaks at 2.13 Ga and 2.16 Ga, respectively, and they were also overprinted by metamorphic events at 1.97–1.90 Ga and 1.89–1.79Ga. Compilation of U-Pb ages of magmatic detrital and metamorphic zircons suggested that the main part of the DMC may have been formed at 2.1–2.0 Ga. Zircon Lu-Hf isotope data show that the source materials of the main part of the DMC were originated from the reworking of ancient Archean crust(3.45–2.78 Ga). The Hf isotope characteristics and the tectonothermal event records exhibit different evolution history with the Khondalite Belt and the Yinshan Block and the other basements of the Alxa Block, indicating that the Langshan was likely an independent terrain before the middle Paleoproterozoic and was subjected to the middle to late Paleoproterozoic tectonothermal events with the Khondalite Belt as a whole.

水玻璃-氯化钙体系是常用的油井堵漏材料,但是水玻璃和氯化钙一接触即快速反应,只能采用双液法进行施工,工序复杂。因此拟对氯化钙进行控释,以期能够将水玻璃-氯化钙混合同时泵注,简化施工。该研究通过使用树脂体系对氯化钙进行包裹完成氯化钙的控释。通过改变体系中氯化钙的加量、交联剂的加量以及单体的种类及配比,考察以上3种因素对控释效果的影响。研究发现,通过树脂对氯化钙进行包裹时,氯化钙与单体的质量比为1∶4、交联剂加量为6%,可将水玻璃-氯化钙体系失去流动性时间延长至105 min。将已包裹氯化钙的树脂粉末进行二次包裹时,氯化钙与单体的质量比为1∶2、一次包裹二次包裹交联剂加量均为6%时,可将水玻璃-氯化钙体系失去流动性时间延长至110 min。在二次包裹的树脂体系中加入氯化钠,可将体系失去流动性时间延长至180 min。通过红外光谱和SEM谱图分析发现,吸水树脂通过减少氯化钙与水玻璃的接触面积来减缓反应的进行,树脂本身不参与水玻璃与氯化钙的反应进程。

Cementing carbonate reservoirs is generally a difficult *** so-called thixotropic cement slurry has gained considerable attention in this regard as it can help tofix some notable *** precisely,it can easilyfill the leakage layer;moreover,its gelling strength can grow rapidly when pumping stops,thereby increasing the resistance to gas channeling,effectively preventing this undesired phenomenon in many ***-temperature thixotropic cement slurry systems,however,are still in an early stage of development and additional research is needed to make them a viable *** the present study,using a self-developed composite high-temperature thixotropic additive as a basis,it is shown that the compressive strength can be adjusted by tuning the proportion of silica sand,the high-temperature retarder,fluid loss additive and dispersant(compatible with the thixotropic additive).According to the tests,the developed high-temperature thixotropic cement slurry system has a 14 d compressive strength of 29.73 MPa at 150°C,and a thickening time of 330 min when the dosage of retarder is 2%.At the same time,the rheological property,water loss,permeability,water separation rate,and settlement stability of the cement slurry system meet the requirements of cementing construction.

葛利普(Amadeus William Grabau),美国地质学家,著名的地层学、古生物学家,其最后的26年在中国度过,是近代以来我国从事地质研究和教育的著名地质学家。他是中国近现代地质学的主要奠基者之一,也是中国最早的科学协会——中国地质学会的早期创始人之一,为中国近现代地质事业作出了卓越贡献。在华期间,葛利普先生先后出版大量论文、专著,内容不仅涉及中国的区域地质,也建立起全球构造理论。基于归纳总结北美、欧洲以及亚洲的资料,20世纪30年代早期他提出"脉动理论",确立了全球海平面升降的规律,并建立起基于海进、海退规律为基础的古生代构造-地层划分方案,成为现今层序地层学的基础;基于大陆漂移假说,分析演绎并建立"极控理论",强调地壳的大规模水平运动,强调地槽的形成与水平构造运动有关,形成了原始的俯冲与海底扩张思想的萌芽。脉动理论和极控理论分别论述了地球表层的垂直运动和水平运动,两个理论互为补充,通过构造事件相联系,形成统一的葛利普的整体地球观。葛利普先生也是大陆漂移的热情支持者和推广者,为板块构造理论的出现发挥了重要作用,他灵活的归纳和演绎贯穿其科学生涯的始终。他身残志坚,身处绝境而仍笔耕不辍;他生命不息、奋斗不止的精神永远值得我们学习、敬仰和传承。

Target-adaptive optical phased array lidar

Lidar based on the optical phased array(OPA)and frequency-modulated continuous wave(FMCW)technology stands out in automotive applications due to its all-solid-state design,high reliability,and remarkable resistance to ***,while FMCW coherent detection enhances the interference resistance capabilities,it concurrently results in a significant increase in depth computation,becoming a primary constraint for improving point cloud density in such perception *** address this challenge,this study introduces a lidar solution leveraging the flexible scanning characteristics of *** proposed system categorizes target types within the scene based on RGB ***,it performs scans with varying angular resolutions depending on the importance of the *** results demonstrate that,compared to traditional scanning methods,the target-adaptive method based on semantic segmentation reduces the number of points to about one-quarter while maintaining the resolution of the primary target ***,with a similar number of points,the proposed approach increases the point cloud density of the primary target area by about four times.

Silicon-based optical phased array with a reconfigurable aperture for“gaze”scanning of LiDAR

Light detection and ranging(LiDAR)serves as one of the key components in the fields of autonomous driving,surveying mapping,and environment ***,dense points clouds are pursued by LiDAR systems to provide high-definition 3D ***,the LiDAR is typically used to produce abundant yet redundant data for scanning the homogeneous background of scenes,resulting in power waste and excessive processing ***,it is highly desirable for a LiDAR system to“gaze”at the target of interest by dense scanning and rough sparse scans on the uninteresting ***,we propose a LiDAR structure based on an optical phased array(OPA)with reconfigurable apertures to achieve such a gaze scanning *** virtue of the cascaded optical switch integrated on the OPA chip,a 64-,128-,192-,or 256-channel antenna can be selected discretionarily to construct an aperture with variable *** corresponding divergence angles for the far-field beam are 0.32°,0.15°,0.10°,and 0.08°,*** reconfigurable-aperture OPA enables the LiDAR system to perform rough scans via the large beam spots prior to fine scans of the target by using the tiny beam *** this way,the OPA-based LiDAR can perform the“gaze”function and achieve full-range scanning *** scanning time and power consumption can be reduced by 1/4 while precise details of the target are ***,we embed the OPA into a frequency-modulated continuous-wave(FMCW)system to demonstrate the“gaze”function in beam *** results show that the number of precise scanning points can be reduced by 2/3 yet can obtain the reasonable outline of the *** reconfigurable-aperture OPA(RA-OPA)can be a promising candidate for the applications of rapid recognition,like car navigation and robot vision.

Structural feature and its significance of the northernmost segment of the Tertiary Biluoxueshan-Chongshan shear zone,east of the Eastern Himalayan Syntaxis

Here we describe ductile,ductile-brittle and brittle deformation styles in the northern segment of the Tertiary Biluoxue-shan-Chongshan shear zone lying to the east of the Eastern Himalayan *** the northernmost part of the zone in the vicinity of the Eastern Himalayan Syntaxis,it consists of mylonitic gneiss,granite,and *** on field relations andmineral assemblages,the rocks are classified into gneiss belt in the west limb,including banded gneiss,augen mylonite and migmatite gneiss,and schist belt in the east *** for the massive granite pluton,the other three tectonites are affected by polystage deformation (D1-D4).Fold deformation of the first stage D1 is isoclinal to tight pattern with nearly N-S fold axes and steeply axial planar cleavage S1,which resulted in the local crustal thickening under a contractive setting.D2 overprinted D1 and is characterized by tight folds with steep axes and N-S fold axial planar,which are also characterized by large-scale ductile strike-slip shear foliation S2,parallel to the nearly N-S trending axial planes of D1 and *** structural pattern of D2 represents a transpression along the zone.D3 occurred during the late stage of the transpression or post-transpression,produc-ing the NW-SE and NE-SW trending strike-slip faults of the third stage *** the D3 deformation,the zone was ex-humed to shallow crustal level where the various tectonites underwent a brittle transtensional deformation D4,combined with one N-S trending strike-slip component and one normal faulting *** and previous geochronologies presented in the paper suggest that the study area is correlated with those in the adjacent tectonic zones,Ailaoshan-Red River shear zone and Gaoligong shear zone in the western *** underwent intensive polyphase deformation,namely,crustal thickening,transpression,and transtension,responding to syn-collision and post-collision of India-Eurasia from 65 Ma to current period east of the E

为明确复垦后土壤质量与土壤碳循环之间的内在机理,揭示时间序列下复垦土壤的碳动态特征规律,研究选取了山东邹城东滩矿区复垦3、6、9、12 a的耕地土壤和复垦3、12 a的林地土壤为研究对象,并以矿区内部未受塌陷影响的正常耕地和林地作为对照。通过实地采样并检测土壤总碳(TC)、总氮(TN)、土壤有机碳(SOC)、土壤微生物量碳(MBC)以及土壤理化性质(pH、AN、AP),探究时间序列下复垦重构土壤在耕地和林地2种不同利用方式下的土壤碳动态特征,及其与土壤理化性质的相关性关系。研究结果表明:复垦后耕地和林地利用方式下土壤有机碳含量均随复垦时间的增加而逐渐增加,复垦3 a和12 a的耕地和林地相比,耕地各土层深度下土壤有机碳含量均高于相应深度林地土壤;复垦12 a的耕地土壤0~20 cm有机碳含量已与对照无显著差异,复垦12 a的林地土壤40~60 cm能达到对照水平。各复垦年限耕地和林地土壤中总碳含量均高于对照,这与复垦土壤中较高比例的土壤无机碳含量有关。复垦后土壤微生物量碳呈持续增长的趋势,相同复垦年限的耕地和林地土壤相比,耕地土壤微生物量碳含量均显著高于林地,且增速更快;复垦9 a的耕地土壤微生物量碳含量已与对照无显著差异,复垦12 a的耕地土壤微生物量碳含量达到362.59 mg/kg已显著高于对照,复垦12 a的林地土壤微生物量碳含量达到110.94 mg/kg仍显著低于对照。复垦后耕地土壤微生物熵与其土壤微生物量碳含量的变化趋势相似,均呈现逐渐增加的规律。复垦6、9和12 a的耕地土壤微生物熵均显著高于对照;复垦3 a和12 a的林地土壤微生物熵均显著低于对照。复垦土壤SOC与MBC、TN、AN呈极显著正相关(p<0.01),与微生物熵q(MBC)、AP呈显著正相关(p<0.05),与pH呈显著负相关(p<0.05);MBC与TN、AN呈极显著正相关(p<0.01),与q(MBC)、AP呈显著正相关(p<0.05),与TC呈显著负相关(p<0.05)。pH与AN、AP均呈极显著负相关关系(p<0.01),与TN呈显著负相关性(p<0.05)。主要结论为伴随着复垦时间的持续,复垦后2种土地利用方式下土壤有机碳和微生物量碳含量均有不同程度的积累和恢复,而复垦后合理的农业耕作活动更有助于土壤质量的持续改善。

The western segment of the Main Tianshan shear zone(MTSZ)branches into three major dextral strike-slip shear zones in the Borohoro Ranges,northwestern *** rocks within these zones exhibit vertical foliations,subhorizontal lineations,and dextral *** microstructures and CPO patterns of calcite and quartz in the tectonites suggest shearing at temperatures of 200℃ to 500℃ or *** amount of dextral displacement along the zones is less than 100 ***-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of zircons from some pre-kinematic granites gave ages of 364-325 Ma and 316 Ma,and zircons from a syn-kinematic leucogranite gave an age of 291 *** propose that dextral shearing along the MTSZ started in the earliest *** data indicate that collision between the Yili and Junggar plates might have finished before 325 Ma or 316 Ma,with a tectonic transformation from 325 Ma to 300 Ma,resulting in intracontinental transpression from 300 Ma or 291 *** suggest that the formation of the Kazakhstan orocline(KO)took place in two stages,with the early stage of bending driven by convergence related to oblique subduction,and the late stage possibly associated with lateral disarticulation as a result of the dextral strike-slip shear zones.

Deformation at the Easternmost Altyn Tagh Fault: Constraints on the Growth of the Northern Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau

How the Altyn Tagh fault(ATF) extends eastwards is one of the key questions in the study of the growth of the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau. Detailed fieldwork at the easternmost part of the ATF shows that the ATF extends eastward and bypasses the Kuantan Mountain;it does not stop at the Kuantan Mountain, but connects with the northern Heishan fault in the east. The ATF does not enter the Alxa Block but extends eastward along the southern Alxa Block to the Jintanan Mountain. The Heishan fault is not a thrust fault but a sinistral strike-slip fault with a component of thrusting and is a part of the ATF. Further to the east, the Heishan fault may connect with the Jintananshan fault. A typical strike-slip duplex develops in the easternmost part of the ATF. The cut and deformed quaternary sediments and displaced present gullies along the easternmost ATF indicate that it is an active fault. The local highest Mountain(i.e., the Kuantan Mountain) in the region forms in a restraining bend of the ATF due to the thrusting and uplifting. The northward growth of the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau and the active deformation in South Mongolia are realized by sinistral strike-slipping on a series of NE–SW-trending faults and thrusting in restraining bends along the strike-slip faults with the northeastward motion of blocks between these faults.
