Mutations of the melanocortin-4 receptor (MC4R) gene are associated with the appetite, obesity; growth in pig, mice; human. But little is known about the function of chicken MC4R gene. In this study, F2 chicken resource population derived from broilers crossing to Silky was screened for the polymorphisms of the MC4R gene using PCR-single strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP); DNA sequencing methods. Four single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) sites were found. The mutation (C→T) in the 5′ regulation region of chicken MC4R gene results in one more NF-E2; cap transcription factor binding sites in the mutation allele than in the wild allele. One missense mutation (G→A) occurs in the coding region (61.t), which changes the glycine to arginine. Moreover, in the coding region there are 2 synonymous mutations, one G→T mutation at 31.nt; one C→T mutation at 336nt. Least square analysis of the SNPs; carcass traits showed that BB, DD; FF genotypes are significantly associated with body weight, carcass weight (or half carcass weight),; leg muscle weight (P>0.05 or P>0.01.. But no significant association between the genotypes; abdominal fat weight is found. The results present the evidence that the chicken MC4R gene can be selected as the major candidate gene for the carcass traits such as body weight; growth.

Lmbr1.is the key candidate gene control{1.ng vertebrate {1.mb development, but its effects on animal growth and carcass traits have never been reported. In this experiment, lmbr1.was taken as the candi-date gene affecting chicken growth and carcass traits. T/C and G/A mutations located in exon 1. and one A/C mutation located in intron 5 of chicken lmbr1.were detected from Silky, White Plymouth Rock broilers and their F2 crossing chickens by PCR-SSCP and sequencing methods. The analysis of vari-ance (ANOVA) results suggests that T/C polymorphism of exon 1. had significant association with eviscerated yield rate (EYR), gizzard rate (GR), shank and claw rate (SCR) and shank girth (SG); A/C polymorphism of intron 5 was significantly associated with SCR, {1.ver rate and head-neck weight (HNW), while both sites had no significant association with other growth and carcass traits. These results demonstrate that lmbr1.gene could be a genetic locus or {1.nked to a major gene significantly affecting these growth and carcass traits in chicken.

以共存理论和冶金脱磷原理为基础,建立了脱磷热力学模型,并对CaO基含TiO2、Al2O3半钢渣系的脱磷能力进行热力学研究,得到CaO基含TiO2、Al2O3半钢脱磷渣系的磷分配比和磷容量热力学模型。研究结果表明,渣中TiO2和Al2O3均会使炉渣的脱磷能力降低,尤其是在低温低碱度条件下影响较为明显,两种氧化物在质量分数相同的情况下,TiO2比Al2O3的影响更大;随着炉渣碱度的增加,炉渣的磷分配比和磷容量均先升高而后持平;随着渣中w（（Fe O））的增加,炉渣的磷分配比和磷容量均先升高而后降低;随着w（（Mg O））的降低,炉渣的磷分配比和磷容量逐渐降低。采用半钢化渣球冶炼半钢,渣中w（（TiO2）＋（Al2O3））和w（（Fe O））升高,w（（Mg O））稍有降低,在Fe O和Mg O的共同作用下,半钢渣系的磷分配比和磷容量有所升高。控制炉渣碱度为4.0左右,w（（Fe O））≤20.0%时,炉渣不仅具有较高的磷分配比和磷容量,并且可以弱化TiO2和Al2O3对磷分配比和磷容量的影响,确定半钢化渣球的加入比例为总渣量的1..0%-20.0%。

Influence of PPV,PRV and PRRSV on Efficacy of the Lapinized Hog Cholera Vaccine and Pathogenicity of Classical swine fever virus

Classical swine fever caused by Classical swine fever virus （CSFV） is a serious problem for swine industries in developing countries, which successful control of the disease have been relying on vaccination. However, classical swine fever still occurs in some immunized swine herds for various reasons. In this study, we conducted animal experiments to examine the influence of single or mixed infection with Porcine parvo virus （PPV）, Pseudorabies virus （PRV） and Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus （PRRSV） on the protective immunity induced by the Lapinized hog cholera virus （HCLV） vaccine and the pathogenicity of CSFV. In experiment 1. pigs were first inoculated with PPV, PRV or PRRSV, then immunized with HCLV, and finally challenged with a highly virulent CSFV Shimen strain. All of the pigs immunized with HCLV survived after the challenge, while all of the pigs in the non-immunized control group died after the challenge. The pigs in the group immunized with HCLV did not show any clinical symptoms of classical swine fever and were negative with CSFV after the challenge. The pigs infected with the non-CSFV before HCLV immunization did not display any clinical symptoms after the challenge with CSFV Shiman strain, but 1. of the 1. pigs were positive with CSFV. In experiment 2, pre-infections with PPV, PRV, and PRRSV were followed by inoculation with a low-virulence CSFV strain （CSFV 39）, and then the pigs were challenged with the CSFV Shimen strain. Infections by either PPV, PRV or PRRSV did not enhance the virulence of CSFV-39, but pigs infected by a mixture of the 3 viruses developed clinical symptoms after inoculation with CSFV-39. The mixed infection also increased mortality caused by the challenge with the CSFV Shimen strain. Together, these results showed PPV, PRV and PRRSV infections in pigs can reduce the efficacy of the HCLV vaccine and enhance the pathogenicity of CSFV, which may partly explain the immunization failure against CSFV in some swine

Background Acinetobacter baumanii （A. baumanii ） remains an important microbial pathogen resulting in nosocomialacquired infections with significant morbidity and mortality. The mechanism by which nosocomial bacteria, like A. baumanii, attain multidrug resistance to antibiotics is of considerable interest. The aim in this study was to investigate the spread status of antibiotic resistance genes, such as multiple 1.-1.ctamase genes and aminoglycoside-modifying enzyme genes, from A. baumanii strains isolated from patients with lower respiratory tract infections （LRTIs）. Methods Two thousand six hundred and ninety-eight sputum or the bronchoalveolar lavage samples from inpatients with LRTIs were collected in 21.hospitals in the mainland of china from November 2007 to February 2009. All samples were routinely inoculated. The isolated bacterial strains and their susceptibility were analyzed via VITEK-2 expert system. Several kinds of antibiotic resistant genes were further differentiated via polymerase chain reaction and sequencing methods. Results Totally, 39 A. baumanii strains were isolated from 2698 sputum or bronchoalveolar lavage samples. There was not only a high resistant rate of the isolated A. baumanfi strains to ampicillin and first- and second-generation cephalosporins （94.87%, 1.0% and 97.44%, respectively）, but also to the third-generation cephalosporins （ceftriaxone at 92.31., ceftazidine at 51.28%） and imipenem （43.59%） as well. The lowest antibiotic resistance rate of 20.51. was found to amikacin. The OXA-23 gene was identified in 1. strains of A. baumanii, and the AmpC gene in 23 strains. The TEM-1.gene was carried in 1. strains. PER-1.and SHV-2 genes were detected in two different strains. Aminoglycoside-modifying enzyme gene aac-3-1. was found in 23 strains, and the aac-6＂lb gene in 1. strains, aac-3-1. and aac-6＂lb genes hibernated in three A. baumanfi strains that showed no drug-resistant phenotype. With the digestive endoscopic tunnel technique(DETT), many diseases that previously would have been treated by surgery are now endoscopically curable by establishing a submucosal tunnel between the mucosa and muscularis propria(MP). Through the tunnel, endoscopic diagnosis or treatment is performed for lesions in the mucosa, in the MP, and even outside the gastrointestinal(GI) *** present, the tunnel technique application range covers the following:(1.Treatment of lesions originating from the mucosal layer, e.g., endoscopic submucosal tunnel dissection for oesophageal large or circular early-stage cancer or precancerosis;(2) treatment of lesions from the MP layer, per-oral endoscopic myotomy, submucosal tunnelling endoscopic resection, etc.; and(3) diagnosis and treatment of lesions outside the GI tract, such as resection of lymph nodes and benign tumour excision in the mediastinum or abdominal cavity. With the increasing number of DETTs performed worldwide, endoscopic tunnel therapeutics, which is based on DETT, has been gradually developed and optimized. However, there is not yet an expert consensus on DETT to regulate its indications, contraindications, surgical procedure, and postoperative *** International DETT Alliance signed up this consensus to standardize the procedures of DETT. In this consensus, we describe the definition, mechanism,and significance of DETT, prevention of infection and concepts of DETTassociated complications, methods to establish a submucosal tunnel, and application of DETT for lesions in the mucosa, in the MP and outside the GI tract(indications and contraindications, procedures, pre-and postoperative treatments, effectiveness, complications and treatments, and a comparison between DETT and other operations).

Using e^(+)e^(−)annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb^(−1.taken at the center-of-mass energy√s=3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector,a joint amplitude analysis is performed on the decays D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η).The fit fractions of individual components are obtained,and large interferences among the dominant components of the decays D^(0)→a_(1.(1.60)π,D^(0)→π(1.00)π,D^(0)→ρ(770)ρ(770),and D^(0)→2(ππ)_(S)are observed in both *** the obtained amplitude model,the CP-even fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are determined to be(75.2±1.1.(stat).±1.5_(syst.))%and(68.9±1.5_(stat).±2.4_(syst.))%,*** branching fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are measured to be(0.688±0.01._(stat.)±0.01._(syst.))%and(0.951.0.025_(stat.)±0.021.(syst.))%,*** amplitude analysis provides an important model for the binning strategy in measuring the strong phase parameters of D^(0)→4πwhen used to determine the CKM angleγ(ϕ_(3))via the B^(−)→DK^(−)decay.
