The research purpose of this paper is focused on investigating the performance of extra-large scale massive multiple-input multiple-output(XL-MIMO)systems with residual hardware impairments.The closed-form expression of the achievable rate under the match filter(MF)receiving strategy was derived and the influence of spatial non-stationarity and residual hardware impairments on the system performance was investigated.In order to maximize the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR)of the systems in the presence of hardware impairments,a hardware impairments-aware minimum mean squared error(HIA-MMSE)receiver was proposed.Furthermore,the stair Neumann series approximation was used to reduce the computational complexity of the HIA-MMSE receiver,which can avoid matrix inversion.Simulation results demonstrate the tightness of the derived analytical expressions and the effectiveness of the low complexity HIA-MMSE(LC-HIA-MMSE)receiver.

This article put forward a resource allocation scheme aimming at maximizing system throughtput for devide-to- device （D2D） communications underlying cellular network. Firstly, user closeness is defined and calculated through social information including friendship, interest similarity and communication strength to represent the willingness of user to share the spectrum resource with others. Then a social-aware resource allocation problem is formulated to maximize the system throughput while guaranteeing the quality of service （QoS） requirements of both D2D pairs and cellular users （CUs）. Then the complicate problem is decomposed into three subproblems. Firstly the admissible D2D pairs are determined and then the power of both CUs and D2D pairs is efficiently allocated. Finally CUs and D2D pairs are matched to reuse the spectrum resource in consideration of both user closeness and physical conditions. Simulation results certify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme which significantly enhances the system throughput compared with the existing algorithms.

A low complexity punctured belief propagation(BP)detection utilizing channel puncturing for multi-user multiple-input multiple-output(MU-MIMO)systems is proposed in this paper.This paper constructs a cycle-free fator graph by puncturing certain non-zero entries in a transformed channel matrix,and proposes an adjusted BP algorithm with a more exact a posteriori message updating equation.The proposed algorithm converges rapidly in several iterations due to the cycle-free structure in the factor graph.Nevertheless,puncturing brings distorted noise and thus leads to performance degradation.To tackle this issue,this article further designs a layered detection with the help of maximum likelihood detector(MLD).Simulations demonstrate that the proposed detection algorithm achieves the identical performance to MLD with much lower complexity.

Economically separating 1-propanol(NPA)from water is an emergent issue for producing pharmaceutical intermediates such as n-propyl acetate,n-propylamine and so on.In this work,fourionic liquids(ILs)1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium thiocyanate([EMIM][SCN]),1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate([BMIM][BF_(4)]),1,3-dimethylimidazolium methylsulfate([MMIM][MS]),1,3-dimethylimidazolium dimethylphosphate([MMIM][DMP])were introduced as potential entrainers for separating NPA–water azeotropic mixture.The results show that[MMIM][MS]is the most suitable entrainer compared with other ILs from the analysis of vapor-liquid equilibrium and relative volatilities.The extractive distillation process with the entrainer regeneration system of flash tank and stripper was employed and optimized by the two-step optimization method.The results show that total annual cost and energy consumption per product flow rate were reduced by 39.79%and 60.47%compared with literature.In addition,the efficiency indicator of extractive section,efficiency indicator of per tray in extractive section,carbon dioxide emissions were also selected as the evaluation index for selection of operating parameters and calculated for different cases.The CO_(2)emissions of the optimal design can be reduced by 60.98%from environmental aspect.

This paper focuses on the higher order fractional differentiability of weak solution pairs to the following nonlinear stationary Stokes system{div A(x-Du)-■π=divF,inΩdivu=0,inΩ.In terms of the difference quotient method,our first result reveals that if F∈B_(p,q.loc)^(β)(Ω,R^(n))for p=2 and 1≤q≤2n/n-2β,then such extra Besov regularity can transfer to the symmetric gradient Du and its pressureπwith no losses under a suitable fractional differentiability assumption on x■A(x,ξ).Furthermore,when the vector field A(x,Du)is simplified to the full gradient■u,we improve the aforementioned Besov regularity for all integrability exponents p and q by establishing a new Campanato-type decay estimates for(■u,π).

Effects of ozone-treated domestic sludge on hydroponic lettuce growth and nutrition

Here, the ozone-treated domestic sludge was diluted up to four different multiples and utilized as a nutritional source for hydroponic lettuce growth. Additionally, lettuce was cultured using the modified Hoagland nutrient solution as a control. The effects of ozone-treated domestic sludge on lettuce growth and nutrition were studied. Results showed that the lettuce treated with modified Hoagland inorganic nutrient solution had increased leaf number, plant height, fresh weight and dry weight compared to those treated with the ozone-treated domestic sludge dilution （P〈0.05）. However, the lettuce cultivated with the 2-fold ozone-treated sludge dilution showed significantly higher （P〈0.05） contents of chlorophyll, soluble sugar and ascorbic acid （Vc） compared to that treated with modified Hoagland nutrient solution. And the nitrate concentration in the lettuce cultured with the 2-fold ozone-treated sludge dilution was 53.93% less than that cultured with the modified Hoagland nutrient solution, which was a significant improvement （P〈0.05）. This study suggested that the 2-fold ozone-treated sludge dilution is optimal for lettuce hydroponic nutrient requirements.

The persistent epidemic of human mpox, caused by mpox virus (MPXV), raises concerns about the future spread ofMPXV and other poxviruses. MPXV is a typical zoonotic virus which can infect human and cause smallpox-likesymptoms. MPXV belongs to the Poxviridae family, which has a relatively broad host range from arthropods tovertebrates. Cross-species transmission of poxviruses among different hosts has been frequently reported andresulted in numerous epidemics. Poxviruses have a complex linear double-strand DNA genome that encodeshundreds of proteins. Genes related to the host range of poxvirus are called host range genes (HRGs). This reviewbriefly introduces the taxonomy, phylogeny and hosts of poxviruses, and then comprehensively summarizes thecurrent knowledge about the cross-species transmission of poxviruses. In particular, the HRGs of poxvirus aredescribed and their impacts on viral host range are discussed in depth. We hope that this review will provide acomprehensive perspective about the current progress of researches on cross-species transmission and HRGvariation of poxviruses, serving as a valuable reference for academic studies and disease control in the future.

Hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets(BNNSs)exhibit remarkable thermal and dielectric properties.However,their self-assembly and alignment in macroscopic forms remain challenging due to the chemical inertness of boron nitride,thereby limiting their performance in applications such as thermal management.In this study,we present a coaxial wet spinning approach for the fabrication of BNNSs/polymer composite fibers with high nanosheet orientation.The composite fibers were prepared using a superacid-based solvent system and showed a layered structure comprising an aramid core and an aramid/BNNSs sheath.Notably,the coaxial fibers exhibited significantly higher BNNSs alignment compared to uniaxial aramid/BNNSs fibers,primarily due to the additional compressive forces exerted at the core-sheath interface during the hot drawing process.With a BNNSs loading of 60 wt%,the resulting coaxial fibers showed exceptional properties,including an ultrahigh Herman orientation parameter of 0.81,thermal conductivity of 17.2 W m^(-1)K^(-1),and tensile strength of 192.5 MPa.These results surpassed those of uniaxial fibers and previously reported BNNSs composite fibers,making them highly suitable for applications such as wearable thermal management textiles.Our findings present a promising strategy for fabricating high-performance composite fibers based on BNNSs.
