In-situ TEM study of the effect of hydrogen-helium ratio on defect characteristics in Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M steel during H_(2)^(+)&He^(+)simultaneous irradiation

The effect of hydrogen and helium interaction,especially H-He ratio,on the irradiation behavior of nuclear materials has not yet been ***,this is an important basis for evaluating the irradiation properties of nuclear materials and developing high irradiation resistant ***,30 keV H_(2)^(+)and He^(+)dual beams with four H-He ratios of 0:10,3:10,15:10,and 30:10 were used to irradiate the newly developed Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M steel in TEM to in-situ study the interaction and ratio effect of hydrogen and *** addition of H atoms significantly promoted the nucleation of dislocation loops and *** the early stage of irradiation,the average size and density of dislocation loops increased with the increase of H-He ***,the larger the H-He ratio,the easier it was to form a complex dislocation ***,the final saturation size of bubbles increased with the increase of H-He *** was first found that the swelling was affected by H concentrations,with high H concentrations slowing down the increase in *** a certain irradiation dose,a specific H-He ratio would lead to a swelling peak of Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M *** super-sized bubbles at grain boundaries(GBs)were found after H addition,resulting in a bigger swelling of GBs than the *** the swelling of the GBs and the matrix show a dependence on the H-He *** current work is of great significance for understanding the interaction between hydrogen and helium in nuclear materials.

An approximate analytical model for unconventional reservoir considering variable matrix blocks and simultaneous matrix depletion

In regard to unconventional oil reservoirs,the transient dual-porosity and triple-porosity models have been adopted to describe the fluid flow in the complex fracture *** has been proven to cause inaccurate production evaluations because of the absence of matrix-macrofracture *** addition,most of the existing models are solved analytically based on Laplace transform and numerical ***,an approximate analytical solution is derived directly in real-time space considering variable matrix blocks and simultaneous matrix *** simplify the derivation,the simultaneous matrix depletion is divided into two parts:one part feeding the macrofractures and the other part feeding the ***,a series of partial differential equations(PDEs)describing the transient flow and boundary conditions are constructed and solved analytically by ***,a relationship between oil rate and production time in real-time space is *** new model is verified against classical analytical *** the microfracture system and matrix-macrofracture communication is neglected,the result of the new model agrees with those obtained with the dual-porosity and triple-porosity model,***,the new model also has an excellent agreement with the numerical *** model is then applied to two actual tight oil wells completed in western Canada sedimentary *** identifying the flow regime,the solution suitably matches the field production data,and the model parameters are *** these output parameters,we can accurately forecast the production and even estimate the petrophysical properties.

Accelerating BERT inference with GPU-efficient exit prediction

BERT is a representative pre-trained language model that has drawn extensive attention for significant improvements in downstream Natural Language Processing(NLP)*** complex architecture and massive parameters bring BERT competitive performance but also result in slow speed at model inference *** speed up BERT inference,FastBERT realizes adaptive inference with an acceptable drop in accuracy based on knowledge distillation and the early-exit ***,many factors may limit the performance of FastBERT,such as the teacher classifier that is not knowledgeable enough,the batch size shrinkage and the redundant computation of student *** overcome these limitations,we propose a new BERT inference method with GPU-Efficient Exit Prediction(GEEP).GEEP leverages the shared exit loss to simplify the training process of FastBERT from two steps into only one step and makes the teacher classifier more knowledgeable by feeding diverse Transformer outputs to the teacher *** addition,the exit layer prediction technique is proposed to utilize a GPU hash table to handle the token-level exit layer distribution and to sort test samples by predicted exit *** this way,GEEP can avoid batch size shrinkage and redundant computation of student *** results on twelve public English and Chinese NLP datasets prove the effectiveness of the proposed *** source codes of GEEP will be released to the public upon paper acceptance.

Interpretable data-driven fault diagnosis method for data centers with composite air conditioning system

Fault detection and diagnosis are essential to the air conditioning system of the data center for elevating reliability and reducing energy *** study proposed a convolutional neural network(CNN)based data-driven fault detection and diagnosis model considering temporal dependency for composite air conditioning system that is capable of cooling the high heat flux in data *** input of fault detection and diagnosis model was an unsteady dataset generated by the experimentally validated transient mathematical *** dataset concerned three typical faults,including refrigerant leakage,evaporator fan breakdown,and condenser ***,the CNN model was trained to construct a map between the input and system operating ***,the performance of the CNN model was validated by comparing it with the support vector machine and the neural ***,the score-weighted class mapping activation method was utilized to interpret model diagnosis mechanisms and to identify key input features in various operating *** results demonstrated in the pump-driven heat pipe mode,the accuracy of the CNN model was 99.14%,increasing by around 8.5%compared with the other two *** the vapor compression mode,the accuracy of the CNN model achieved 99.9%and declined the miss rate of refrigerant leakage by at least 61%*** score-weighted class mapping activation results indicated the ambient temperature and the actuator-related parameters,such as compressor frequency in vapor compression mode and condenser fan frequency in pump-driven heat pipe mode,were essential features in system fault detection and diagnosis.

河南经济欠发达地区儿童青少年家庭喂养方式与肥胖的关系

目的对河南经济欠发达地区中小学生家庭喂养方式及肥胖状况进行调查,了解之间存在的关系。方法在方便抽样的原则下以班级为单位选取河南经济欠发达地区5所小学和中学的5 146名中小学生的及家庭父母进行问卷调查。结果河南经济欠发达地区中小学生的肥胖率为7.68%。男生(8.42%)高于女生(6.91%),差异具有统计学意义(X~2=4.11,P<0.05)。在饮食速度过快、喜食甜品、喜食西餐、喜欢喝饮料方面肥胖学生的比例显著高于正常体重学生(X~2=6.04、17.47、5.84、3.75,P<0.05);在喜食蔬菜方面正常体重学生的比例高于肥胖学生(X~2=8.24,P<0.01)。正常体重学生的父母对子女饮食摄入量的干预、饮食结构的控制和对体重的重视比例均显著高于肥胖学生的家长(X~2=19.51、18.86、7.45,P<0.01)。回归分析显示,饮食速度过快(OR=1.091)、喜食甜品(OR=2.475)、喜食西餐(OR=2.332)与中小学生肥胖之间存在正相关关系(P<0.05);喜食蔬菜(OR=0.629)、对子女饮食结构的控制(OR=0.391)、对子女饮食摄入量的干预(OR=0.298)与中小学生肥胖的发生之间存在负相关关系(P<0.05)。结论河南经济欠发达地区中小学生肥胖问题严重,不良的饮食行为、父母认知行为不正确可引起学生肥胖。

Investigation of stress-induced progressive failure of mine pillars using a Voronoi grain-based breakable block model

The Voronoi grain-based breakable block model(VGBBM)based on the combined finite-discrete element method(FDEM)was proposed to explicitly characterize the failure mechanism and predict the deformation behavior of hard-rock mine *** influence of the microscopic parameters on the macroscopic mechanical behavior was investigated using laboratory-scale *** field-scale pillar models(width-to-height,W/H=1,2 and 3)were calibrated based on the empirically predicted stress-strain curves of Creighton mine *** results indicated that as the W/H ratios increased,the VGBBM effectively predicted the transition from strain-softening to pseudo-ductile behavior in pillars,and explicitly captured the separated rock slabs and the V-shaped damage zones on both sides of pillars and conjugate shear bands in core zones of *** volumetric strain field revealed significant compressional deformation in core zones of *** the peak strains of W/H=1 and 2 pillars were relatively consistent,there were significant differences in the strain energy storage and release mechanism.W/H was the primary factor influencing the deformation and strain energy in the pillar *** friction coefficient of the structural plane was also an important factor affecting the pillar strength and the weakest discontinuity *** fracture surface was controlled by the discontinuity angle and the friction *** study demonstrated the capability of the VGBBM in predicting the strengths and deformation behavior of hard-rock pillars in deep mine design.

Strain Gradient Finite Element Formulation of Flexoelectricity in Ferroelectric Material Based on Phase-Field Method

Flexoelectricity is a two-way coupling effect between the strain gradient and electric field that exists in all dielectrics,regardless of point group ***,the high-order derivatives of displacements involved in the strain gradient pose challenges in solving electromechanical coupling problems incorporating the flexoelectric *** this study,we formulate a phase-field model for ferroelectric materials considering the flexoelectric effect.A four-node quadrilateral element with 20 degrees of freedom is constructed without introducing high-order shape *** microstructure evolution of domains is described by an independent order parameter,namely the spontaneous polarization governed by the time-dependent Ginzburg–Landau *** model is developed based on a thermodynamic framework,in which a set of microforces is introduced to construct the constitutive relation and evolution *** the flexoelectric part of electric enthalpy,the strain gradient is determined by interpolating the mechanical strain at the node via the values of Gaussian integration points in the isoparametric *** model is shown to be capable of reproducing the classic analytical solution of dielectric materials incorporating the flexoelectric *** model is verified by duplicating some typical phenomena in flexoelectricity in cylindrical tubes and truncated pyramids.A comparison is made between the polarization distribution in dielectrics and *** model can reproduce the solution to the boundary value problem of the cylindrical flexoelectric tube,and demonstrate domain twisting at domain walls in ferroelectrics considering the flexoelectric effect.
