Energy flow characteristics of friction-induced nonlinear vibrations in a water-lubricated bearing-shaft coupled system

Based on the energy flow theory of nonlinear dynamical system,the stabilities,bifurcations,possible periodical/chaotic motions of nonlinear water-lubricated bearing-shaft coupled systems are investigated in this *** is revealed that the energy flow characteristics around the equlibrium point of system behaving in the three types with different friction-para-mters.(a)Energy flow matrix has two negative and one positive energy flow factors,constructing an attractive local zero-energy flow surface,in which free vibrations by initial disturbances show damped modulated oscillations with the system tending its equlibrium state,while forced vibrations by external forces show stable oscillations,(b)Energy flow matrix has one negative and two positive energy flow factors,spaning a divergence local zero-energy flow surface,so that the both free and forced vibrations are divergence oscillations with the system being unstable,(c)Energy flow matrix has a zero-energy flow factor and two opposite factors,which constructes a local zero-energy flow surface dividing the local phase space into stable,unstable and central subspace,and the simulation shows friction self-induced unstable vibrations for both free and forced *** a set of friction parameters,the system behaves a periodical oscillation,where the bearing motion tends zero and the shaft motion reaches a stable limit circle in phase space with the instant energy flow tending a constant and the time averaged one tending *** simulations have not found any possible chaotic motions of the *** is discovered that the damping matrices of cases(a),(b)and(c)respectively have positive,negative and zero diagonal elements,resulting in the different dynamic behavour of system,which gives a giderline to design the water-lubricated bearing unit with expected performance by adjusting the friction parameters for applications.

A new strategy for tube leakage and blockage detection using bubble motion-based solid-liquid triboelectric sensor

Exploring a rapid, reliable, and practical means to detect blockages and leakages in liquid pipelines and accurately locate their positions is of great importance in practical engineering applications. Here, we report a bubble motion-based triboelectric sensor(BM-TES) for detecting and locating the blockages and leaks inside a plastic tube. This simple-designed, environment-friendly,non-damaging sensor is composed of several ring-shaped Cu electrodes distributed on a polytetrafluoroethylene tube. The selfpowered movement of the bubble under the action of buoyancy makes the inner wall of the tube change from the original solidliquid phase to the gas-solid-liquid phase, which results in a short-term contact and separation between the liquid and the *** on the fractional triboelectric effect of the liquid-solid contact, an obvious real-time stable voltage peak will be generated where the detection bubble passes. The obvious peaks of the open-circuit voltage with respect to time correspond with the electrode distribution. Then, the peaks can be utilized as a robust and sensitive indicator for detecting blockage and leakage, as the number of obvious peaks of the open-circuit voltage is directly related to the blockage and leakage location. The blockage and leakage in a fluid tube were successfully detected using the BM-TES with an accuracy of 10 cm. In addition, the BE-TES was able to detect the water flow velocity in the pipe. The experimental results showed that BM-TES can provide a new strategy and method for liquid tube monitoring and has great potential application value in related fields.

The lubricity and anti-wear ability of ionic liquids(ILs)were studied by a current-carrying friction test on IL-lubricated carbon *** results indicated that the conductivity and wear resistance of different ILs are different,and may vary for different carbon *** E468e carbon brush was found to be more sensitive to IL lubrication than D172 carbon ***,an analysis of the wear surfaces of the D172 and E468e carbon brushes revealed that,due to the different materials of the two carbon brushes and the composition of the IL,the lubrication effect on the carbon brushes was *** viscosity of the IL will affect its wettability on the carbon brush *** better the wettability,the easier the movement of ions on the surface,which makes it easier to form a conductive physical adsorption ***,in practice,a better IL must be selected by considering the wettability of IL and carbon brushes.

Ionic Liquid-assisted Formation of Lanthanide Metal-organic Framework Nano/Microrods for Superefficient Removal of Congo Red

New lanthanide metal-organic framework（MOF） nano/microrods, [C4mim]Cl-Eu-MOF, [C8mim]Cl-Eu- MOF and [C12mim]Cl-Eu-MOF, were conveniently synthesized via an ionic liquid-assisted hydrothermal method and characterized by means of powder X-ray diffraction（XRD）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）, thermo- gravimetric analysis（TG） and transmission electron microscopy（TEM）. The obtained nano/microrods with low sur- face areas were efficient for the removal of Congo red（CR） from aqueous solutions. Under the optimum conditions, [C4mim]Cl-Eu-MOF with a specific surface area of 5.1 m^2/g exhibited an ultrahigh adsorption capacity of 2606 mg/g toward CR. Notably, the adsorption efficiency of [C4mim]Cl-Eu-MOF for CR via nano/microscale stacking can be directly demonstrated by TEM. In-depth understanding of CR removal by [C4mim]Cl-Eu-MOF nano/microrods was also supported by FTIR, Raman spectroscopy and zeta potential analyses.

针对城市设计存在的性别盲视现象,提出城市设计应从性别盲视走向性别敏感,这是实现城市设计包容和公平价值的重要路径。分析了当代社会性别敏感视角从"女性关怀的性别敏感设计"转向"包容性的性别敏感设计"的趋势,强调空间设计应积极应对不同人群的差异化需求。阐释了性别敏感的城市设计的核心议题与主要策略,包括以女性安全审计为主要策略的公共空间的女性安全议题,以社会性别分析和分性别数据统计为主要策略的促进空间性别平等的城市设计议题。在性别敏感的城市设计的制度落实方面,提出需要将性别敏感视角嵌入城市设计治理体系。

在中国古代都城营建思想体系中,周代以来形成且延续数千年的城市设计伦理思想是重要组成部分,阐释这些伦理思想能够为现代城市设计带来价值启迪。以《礼记·王制》为中心,从行政区划制度、土地配给制度和祭祀制度等方面研究,能够较为全面把握传统城市设计礼制等级秩序所体现的政治伦理要求;天人之和的宇宙象征主义作为传统城市设计的独特伦理表征,对都城和宫殿布局、城市形态产生关键性影响;“城以盛民”的惠民要求与“因天材,就地利”的实用理性,体现了传统城市设计思想的民本伦理意蕴。总体上看,传统城市设计伦理思想的演变历程是礼制等级秩序与惠民实用要求之间相互渗透、不断平衡的过程。

新时代城市发展的新要求,决定了城市规划的未来谋划要以提升共享性为重要价值诉求,这是城市规划当代转型必须高度重视的问题。人人共享的城市是全方位的宜居之城,是共建共治的和谐之城,显现了美好城市的价值底色。城市规划视角的共享正义指的是城市市民在最大程度上拥有平等地分享城市公共空间和公共资源的权利、机会和自由,主要体现在两个方面:通过包容性导向的城市规划政策,促进和强化空间公平;通过均等性导向的城市规划政策,提升和营造空间共享。从良好的城市治理视角看,提升共享性是城市规划善治的核心价值,有效的公众参与基础上的共治共享是城市规划治理的重要手段。
