Prioritizing Test Cases for Memory Leaks in Android Applications

Mobile applications usually can only access limited amount of memory. Improper use of the memory can cause memory leaks, which may lead to performance slowdowns or even cause applications to be unexpectedly killed. Although a large body of research has been devoted into the memory leak diagnosing techniques after leaks have been discovered, it is still challenging to find out the memory leak phenomena at first. Testing is the most widely used technique for failure discovery. However, traditional testing techniques are not directed for the discovery of memory leaks. They may spend lots of time on testing unlikely leaking executions and therefore can be inefficient. To address the problem, we propose a novel approach to prioritize test cases according to their likelihood to cause memory leaks in a given test suite. It firstly builds a prediction model to determine whether each test can potentially lead to memory leaks based on machine learning on selected code features. Then, for each input test case, we partly run it to get its code features and predict its likelihood to cause leaks. The most suspicious test cases will be suggested to run at first in order to reveal memory leak faults as soon as possible. Experimental evaluation on several Android applications shows that our approach is effective.

AIM: To purify and characterizeα-L-fucosidase from human liver cancer tissue and to detect the localization ofα-L-fucosidase in tumor tissue. METHODS: Cation exchange chromatography on CM-52 and ultrafiltration were used to separateα-Lfucosidase (AFU) from crude extract of liver cancer tissue. 4-methylumbelliferyl-α-L-fucopyranoside was used as a fluorescent substrate to quantify the purified AFU activity in each step. A polyclonal antibody (pAb) against the purified AFU was obtained by anion exchange chromatography on DEAE-52 after ammonium sulfate fractionation and ultrafiltration. Immuohistochemical staining was used to observe the expression of AFU in malignant and adjacent liver tissues. RESULTS: Humanα-L-fucosidase was purified 74-fold to apparent homogeneity with 15% yield. SDSPAGE indicated the presence of one subunit of molecular weight of 55 Ku. The specific activity of AFU in pooled fraction by chromatography was 10085 IU/mg. Western blot analysis indicated that the pAb could recognize one protein band of molecular weight of 55 Ku. The expression of AFU was observed in cytoplasm membrane of liver cancer tissue but not in that of adjacent tissue. CONCLUSION: The purifiedα-L-fucosidase from primary hepatocarcinoma (PHC) is different in its properties fromα-L-fucosidase in human other organs. The polyclonal antibody prepared in this experiment can be applied to the diagnosis of PHC.

The quality of internetware software is significantly associated with class *** software evolves,changes often introduce many unrelated responsibilities to the same classes or distribute tightly-related methods in different *** changes make the classes difficult to understand and *** class refactoring is an effective technique to improve the quality of software structure by decomposing unrelated methods in one class to create new classes or extracting tightly-related methods from different *** this paper,we propose a novel approach for class extraction from internetware source *** approach leverages a community structure detection technique to partition software into clusters and extracts classes from the resulting *** experimental results,which investigate the public well-known internetware PKUAS,indicate that:(1)the proposed approach is much faster than existing search-based clustering approaches(Hillclimbing and Genetic algorithm)and is thus applicable for large-scale internetware;(2)the proposed approach can identify meaningful class extractions for internetware;and(3)Extract Class refactoring candidates identified by the proposed approach significantly improve class cohesion of internetware.

Molybdenum disulphide (MoS_(2)) has emerged as a promising candidate for low-power digital ***,grain boundaries play a decisive role in determining the carrier mobility and performance of MoS_(2)-*** this work,we report a systematic study on the grain boundary of chemical vapor deposition (CVD)MoS_(2).We found that in the ON-state,if current flows across a grain boundary that is aligned perpendicular to the channel length,the current of CVD MoS_(2)-FETs can be significantly reduced,while in the OFF-state,the effect is ***-insulator-transition is clearly observed,indicating the high quality of our CVD samples,and it is also shown that grain boundaries increase the metal-insulator-transition crossover-voltage in MoS_(2)-***,this work provides useful information and guidance in understanding the nature of carrier transport in synthesized MoS2 devices,and the developed framework can be applied to other 2D semiconductors in general,as well as in optimizing the CVD process and device design with 2D materials.

塔里木盆地南缘第四系松散沉积物以第三系弱透水层为隔水底板构成良好的储水场所 ,含水层厚 2 0 0～90 0 m,主要由冲洪积卵砾石、砂砾石和细砂组成。地下水位埋深由山前倾斜平原的 5 0～ 10 0 m逐渐过渡为细土平原的 1～ 3m,矿化度相应地由 1～ 3g· L- 1 变化到 3～ 5 g· L- 1 。大部分地下水由地表径流和渠系、田间灌溉水入渗转化而成 ,约占地下水补给总量的 94%以上。人类历史时期 ,气候在地下水演变中依旧起着主导作用。随着人类社会文明的进步 ,人类活动对水资源系统的影响在环境变迁中表现出越来越显著的作用。 195 0— 1995年的 46 a中 ,塔里木盆地南缘地下水的开发利用比较有限 ,仅占 2 .3%左右 ,但地下水补给量减少了 2 6 .2 % ,与此同时 ,地下水位下降了 3～ 5 m,泉水递减了 2 8.7%。适于荒漠植物生长的地下水位埋深为 3～ 4m,高于此埋深将引起土壤盐渍化 ,低于此埋深植被会衰退进而导致土地沙漠化。因此 ,在开发利用水资源促进区域经济发展的同时 ,要重视地下水的保护和环境的改善。

LRRK2 regulates actin assembly for spindle migration and mitochondrial function in mouse oocyte meiosis

Leucine-rich-repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) belongs to the Roco GTPase family and is a large multidomain protein harboring both GTPase and kinase activities. LRRK2 plays indispensable roles in many processes, such as autophagy and vesicle trafficking in mitosis. In this study, we showed the critical roles of LRRK2 in mammalian oocyte meiosis. LRRK2 is mainly accumulated at the meiotic spindle periphery during oocyte maturation. Depleting LRRK2 led to the polar body extrusion defects and also induced large polar bodies in mouse oocytes. Mass spectrometry analysis and co-immunoprecipitation results showed that LRRK2 was associated with several actin-regulating factors, such as Fascin and Rho-kinase (ROCK), and depletion of LRRK2 affected the expression of ROCK, phosphorylated cofilin, and Fascin. Further analysis showed that LRRK2 depletion did not affect spindle organization but caused the failure of spindle migration, which was largely due to the decrease of cytoplasmic actin filaments. Moreover, LRRK2 showed a similar localization pattern to mitochondria, and LRRK2 was associated with several mitochondria-related proteins. Indeed, mitochondrial distribution and function were both disrupted in LRRK2-depleted oocytes. In summary, our results indicated the critical roles of LRRK2 in actin assembly for spindle migration and mitochondrial function in mouse oocyte meiosis.

Automatic Identification of Use Cases from Codes: A User’s Goal Driven Approach

Based on the different roles played by base flow and alternative flow in the process to achieve user＇s goals, we have found that loop structure is frequently used to implement alternative flow and/or to connect different use cases. This paper presents an approach to identify base flows and alternative flows of different use cases by traversing control flow graph in which back edges are eliminated. The effectiveness of the approach is verified by identification of the use case structure of an ATM system. The workload of human intervention of the approach is relatively slight, and the manner of human intervention closely follows the usual process of software comprehension.

Pathology and postmortem studies have reported that the most important mechanism of acute coronary syndrome （ACS） is the rupture of a vulnerable plaque and subsequent thrombus formation. Such events commonly arise from the non-flow limiting atherosclerotic lesions which are prone to rupture. Thin-cap fibroatheromas （TCFA） are the most common type of vulnerable plaque. As the widely used technique for the detection of coronary arterial diseases, coronary angiography has intrinsic limitations since it only portrays the contrast agent-filled contour of the lumen and provides little information on the vessel wall and even less the characteristics of the plaques. Not surprisingly, angiography has low predictive value on the future ACS events. Intravascular ultrasound imaging （IVUS）, which supplies the cross-sectional imaging of the vessel from inside, provides both the topography of the vessel wall and the characteristics of atherosclerotic lesions,
